Beautiful rod demont the orochi X10 models are absolutely stunning. Thank you for the upload looking forward to more content man keep em coming. Tight lines brotha !!!
Good vid, I just picked up a new swimbait rod the other day too.. JLS got the destroyer evolusions back in stock and I picked up a White Python for chuckin bigger baits, I just got to get a reel for it. I was thinking this might be a good rod for a Calcutta but not sure if I should get a 100 or a 200. I’ve never had a round reel so not sure about them enough to drop a blind 400$..but now I seen this video and I’m thinking that Antares dc md might be the ticket. What would you pair with it?
@@mattcampbell3876 I like the look of that White Python! Well as far as reels go my two favorite swimbait reels you mentioned both. Depends on how much you are comfortable spending for that rod o would go with a 200 size reel if it was me(might order me one 😂 depending on the other rods I get in) I would do the Antares DC MD especially if you’re planning on skipping with it but I also love the Conquest I have like 5 of the newer ones and 3 of the older ones. You can’t beat just the durability inconsistency of these reels. They are not finicky at all always perform the same whether you get a 200 or 300 size. Let me know if that helps.
Yea that’s good info, gonna get both Antares and Calcutta 200, whichever one doesn’t go on the Python can replace my Tatula 300 on my Ark SB rod, 300 just too big for lures I use; biggest I throw are Chad Shads and 200’s seem to handle them fine.
@ get those handles from GoMexus man they make a huge difference on the Antares! Not so much on the conquest because the handle isn’t as big but it’s already very balanced
Wish I would have got the GB but got the SB , it’s a great rod for the price range, it’s just overkill for my stuff and technique , that’s why I jumped on the Python cuz it seemed to fall in that 2oz sweet spot for rod power..
Really nice looking rod!! Thanks for sharing!!
@@All_is_Outdoors thanks buddy!
