Nope. This trail doesn’t go near the actual Nine Mile River. I’m guessing it’s called the Nine Mile River Trail because it’s in the town that’s named after the river. Gives me an idea for somewhere to stop next time I’m out that way!

You should! Dogs are allowed, too (but have to be on leash, I think.) It’s easy and pretty.

I’ve camped there a few times, it’s best to stay closer to the lake area to do so as it’s pretty busy with day hikers
