My first reaction was it's not purple, more lilac. I think it could look quite classy with a white shirt and suitable colour tie. Don't think it works with casual fashion though. The teal looks more appealing and would work better in both smart and casual scenarios imho. The purple mock up was a definite improvement as a more royal purple look was what I was expecting to see. Overall I like the watch as I've just bought one in classic black and at £50 its good value.
Thanks for the review 👍 I have the purple one with the jubilee bracelet too. For the price, I think it's fine. My two main issues is the endlinks and the clasp. The clasp has sharp corners and it's really hard to open without breaking af fingernail. I replaced it with a San Martin clasp. The male endlinks on a jubilee looks weird and clumsy. I've recently replaced the bracelet with a white FKM rubber strap and I think it looks better now. But I would definitely have preferred the purple model on a jubilee with female endlinks.
I bought the same watch exactly because of how much I love purple. I liked it, but would rather it be like your mockup. I ended up replacing the bezel for a black one with black numbers that to me and my wife made the watch look much better! I use it on a black strap and like it even more now.
I love the color! It's so beautiful. Showed it to my wife, she said it's the ugliest watch she has ever seen. So it's a no buy for me :( Great outdoor shots.
I have bought a couple of watches from ali express all dismal disaters. However my watch addiction cannot be assuged so I pulled the trigger on this number for $119 AUD so I will drop a line with my impresions. I have generally heard good things about Steeldive plus just on specs alone why not risk wearing a purple haze on my wrist.
I've had a couple of misses but most of the stuff I've got from Ali has been surprisingly good. I've got that Baltany 1921 on the way for something a bit out of the ordinary ^^.
I have this watch - its not purple. To me purple is darker and I love purple - I'm at the point where I have had to modify Steeldive and Addiesdive watches to get that deep purple fume I'm after in a dive watch. This watch though is lilac and it wears as a great smart casual business dive watch with a nice and different pastel color. I have removed the cyclops though - its hideous and the watch looks far better without it.

That does sound like an upgrade, and I do think the dial is better than the bezel, so makes sense!

Purple or turquoise? I am in a dilemma

Purple is not my taste
