The defenders could maybe use a weapon with bug bubbler that acts as a Door to defend them for a bit, you make some changes if it’s not too op

Your neurodivergence is appreciated, and Ill DEFO be giving this a try and probably tweaking it to make my own bootleg version cause you've set MY neurodivergence off!!! Got a lot of ideas to make it even MORE COMPLICATED MWAHAHAHAHA.
one of my favorite things about minigames in Splatoon is what they can teach the player about how they play the game in normal scenarios- this game mode seems to be perfect for improving awareness and sharking skills!! Thank you for sharing, this seems like so much fun!!

Idea: Masking
When someone is nearby, the worker (if next to an inkable wall) can swim up and hold their spot as if they are hiding. The attacker has to walk to the spot and then leave, however if you swim up the wall when they get there then they can splat you.
Why this is fair is because it only really applies to a “toy” class, any other can still get to you as they will not be fooled by it

Me and friends came up with a homebrew CB mode called Freshwater Frisbee with Goalees and Runners and it was delightful

If nintendo eventually adds a feature that lets you recon splatfest maps, this game is perfection
You could also implement a power system by giving the Night Guard a limited amount of times he can refill his ink

Scrap [A]: They are only allowed if the Nightguard has a Technician. The job of scrappers is simply take out any cameras they see in view. Could be via coin flip too if you want to get Cawthy.
Circus/Scrap Baby: An attacker class that would require a weapon that has a sub in which you can hold R without throwing. They will stand behind the night guard the entire night. The attacker doesn't really attack the defender otherwise. However after given intervals, Circus Baby can then raise their arm up (hold R) to symbol that she will attack. If the nightguard doesn't give you attention and you kept your hand raised for 7-10 seconds, then Baby will attack and kill.
Rockstars: Rockstars are somewhat attacker and defender at the same time. They use weapons that have either Big Bubbler, Tacticooler, or Super Chump. Unlike attackers, they approach via the MIDDLE of the office, then appear before the nightguard. The nightguard is allowed to challenge the Rockstar in a RPS dual, using the camera and squid as options (up beats down, down beats squid, squid beats up). If the nightguard loses, the Rockstar can kill them. If the nightguard wins, the Rockstar must then aid the nightguard using Big Bubbler to make automatically one animatronic leave, Tacticooler somewhere outside of the office to draw the animatronic's attention there, or Super Chump to keep the animatronic stunned for a solid minute.
an exclusively fnaf 4 themed version of this would be sick cuz fnaf 4 has no cams and is purely audio
This sounds like a really fun minigame but because I only have surface level knowledge of fnaf i can't imagine what this would be like in practice. I would love to see some example gameplay of it!

Idea: A variation could be where there are two night guards: One at office and one who hops between squid beacons to describe what is there. The office cannot check map and the beacons have to be far spread.

That’s a nice minigame concept
Animatronic idea: foxy
(This requires some way for the animatronics to know by looking at map if the nightguard is looking at map from far away, probably by squid beacon and position, previous rules still apply)
This animatronic starts on the back edge(opposite of office) of one of the night guards beacons and while in the beacons radius can ONLY MOVE WHEN NIGHT GUARD IS OUT OF CAMS.
They must shark towards the player slowly while in squid beacon radius.
Once outside of squid beacon radius they can choose when to move, but must rush to the office.
If the nightguard reacts by shooting them, or if there is already ink there(after a certain amount of tries, say like 5 times, then the nightguard can only deter them by shooting at them), they must remove the ink and return back to the camera.
They must return to the back edge of the camera before moving towards the office.

For extra faithfulness to the source material each attacker can have a number from 1-20 and every few seconds they roll a 20d and if it’s at their number or lower then they can move a bit to the defenders

I actually thought this is going to be another splatoon mod video, you surprised me with that! Oh and I wanted to add that it would be cool for some roles to have specific gear on with for example less damage by sub weapon! Im kinda curious how freddles function in a deeper way. Does the defender have to destroy the 3 beakons before 8 seconds pass as they are signaling danger?
In my head I'm thinking those beacons represent a "charging time" and if you destroy it, it delays freddles' capability to signal danger and attack
Yup. Destroy the beakons as they're being placed or if all 3 are up.
It's suppose to mimic how you check the bed in FNAF 4; checking it at any moment and micromanaging the actual Freddles behind you

THE MIMI-
The gimmicks can get nuanced with specific weapon types.
For example, a Mainstage Attacker with a Dynamo can slowly approach and prepare to vertical flick (or horizontal if you want a challenge).
Withered Attackers can use an Ultra Stamp weapon to rush and possibly give a slim window of self-defense as well.

staff bots. after sneaking up staff bots spamm the booyah alarm and then launch missles, forcing them to super jump to a beacon location, which is where their new office will be from now on.
in fnaf staff bots call an animatronic, which is represented by the nightguard being forced near a animatronic.

Just thought of something: put someone on the alpha team stationed in the office at all times if the player in the office is on the cameras for more than 10 seconds the alpha team member in the office kills them (based off golden freddy)
