thank you as well
very good review
thanks!!
Nice camper, good use of space, but get rid of the fake useless fireplace.
LOL,,it is a heater,,LOL when you are hooked up to gen or electric you can use the fireplace,,It is a bit unrealistic looking fireplace, but does serve a purpose,,,you gave me a good laugh Goat! I totally understand why someone wouldn't want it
Toaster oven would do the trick
Dave, please check out the Coachmen Freedom Express 192RBS. You will not be disappointed, check it out....
I got footage of one while I was there, very nice indeed,,thanks!
Yep, I definitely like that camper. Plenty of storage. Nice kitchen, and bath. Everything you need. You're really doing a nice job showing Mr J's RVs, he should be paying for the advertising. 😊👍
thanks a bunch Susan!!
One more thing to mention about the lack of outlets. A dealer told me one drawback to Azdel construction is it's very difficult to put in recessed outlets in any [outside] walls and pretty much impossible to add aftermarket. So it's common to see outlets in odd places like under countertops and in or under cabinets. The reason is Azdel is mostly just solid foam and the walls are thinner than the depth of the electrical box. (You can have outdoor outlets because the protruding electrical box and wiring can be hidden by the cabinetry.)
Great info to have, thanks for sharing, I appreciate it!
I like this RV the only dislike I have is the slide I'm not crazy about slide period something else to go wrong. I like the layout its a nice RV the bed doesn't bother you can only do so much with a small RV
I'd likely only let the slide out once a year if it were mine, if I were somewhere lengthy trip.
Well thought out use of space is always a plus that drawer around the sink is smart, heated floor and the price is nice for what you are getting for that camper!
I think the best rv is the one u showed and I bought last year which was the Flagstaff 21fbrs. Only weighs 200 pounds more and has double axles. I do like the Azdel construction, heated underbelly and friction hinge door this one has. Thanks for the video.
This RV life is addictive huh?? You got the best one out there but still looking. Its hard not to. I tend to film only ones I like. Will hopefully soon get a new version of 21FBRS video
Thanks again for the excellent video.
hi dave question is this unit 20 ft ball to bumper? nice counter top thumbs up
Definitely a well-thought-out RV. And would be perfect for me and my wife if a tad a regular stove and oven. I'll love it thanks for sharing.
thanks Fred!
Love that r.v.
Another great video. This is a good one, but the video you posted several months ago ( maybe even a year ) of the Flagstaff 21FBRS just can’t be beat so far. It is honestly perfect.
Love seeing all the possible contenders though !
I have a video coming out soon, of another Coachman that has same layout as the 21FBRS, its a contender for top spot too, we will see
Really appreciate you spotlighting theses smaller coachmen freedom travel trailers. Have owned a Coachmen and very impressed with construction plus manactures responsiveness
I am glad I have discovered them as well. I like Rockwood, Micro Lite and now Coachman has made the list
Great video Dave, another important feature this RV has for me, is a black tank flush1
Did they stop making these in 2020?
I saw a gentleman on another utube channel call the drawer under the sink a "U" tensile drawer. LOL
I believe Josh the RV nerd at Haylet called it that as well
That was the guy. He is fun to watch.
Thanx Dave & Muppy. For the price...this is an excellent T. T. !
yes it is, I spent a little extra time in it daydreaming,,lol
Wow, really great video, Dave! This has a really nice layout and features that I do like a lot, but doesn't quite hit the target for me. Nice sized fridge and very travel friendly slide. Like many have pointed out, if it had dual axles, an oven, outlets for the great counterspace it has, and a deeper shower base, it would be pretty damn close to being perfect. Personally, I could go with a twin sized be in there (to be able to get in and out of it easier), but that would probably significantly decrease the amount of space in the storage bay. It's nice to see you getting excited being in your "candy store" at the end of the video. I would say this one ranks #2, right behind the 21FBRS.
No power outlets with all that counter space ?
when I read your comment, I was like surely not. Man you are correct not one!!! You have got to be kidding. I cannot believe there is one on the floor by the doorway but not any on the counter. Great catch!! You got me there. I am sure it could be added
There is an outlet under the cabinets to the right side.
@Mike Pacelli Yes, that's where mine are.
Perfect? No, but close. I would add the range/oven, fantastic fan, and I really would like to see dual axels. The real kicker for me is the bed. If I was young and limber, It would’t be a big deal, but I’m 64 years old.
I totally agree!
The Freedom Express 192RBS is about the same size and it has a residential size 60x80 inch queen bed, accessible from either side, a real stove and an oven. I'm the same age as you and it's much better for us older types, especially if their are two of you.
Great video. I love that unit. Still wonder if the slide will leak if used long term or bind up.
Love that Coleman has listened to customers and put a real fridge in a small camper. No more useless apt drink fridge.
The dealer should leave the battery out of the clocks and set them for 5 o'clock. That way it's always 5 o'clock in a Johnson RV. (please pass that along to them)
Thanks for the video.
And whoever buys the RV, It would be 5:00 wherever they went
Would be perfect if it had a tandem axel and an oven!! Great that it has a fireplace!!
when I watched the video I realized, If you are in the bed you cannot see fireplace and TV at same time, so another TV would be needed as well. Yes, 2 tv's 3' apart,,lol
The bed is too short and if there are two people, one has to crawl over the other. Not something you want to do when you're older.
I know from experience back when there was 2 of us. I had a leg cramp and had to jump over her at 4am
Oh is that AC unit ducted?
I know you almost have your camper paid off but that Coleman is very impressive. Definitely is on my radar.
Yeah, let's put a slide out facing the toilet.......
Very nice little camper. I don't understand why Freedom Express puts those showers in their smaller units...what a mess you would have. Seems it would have been easy to put in a door or at least a deep tub .
I totally understand, I would want a very long shower curtain to ensure it lays in the shower pan good
I think this one would be perfect for me but I can't afford it being on disability and Trump cutting everything besides this is just a day dream for me not a plan .. I have a question, In the corner next to the frig could you put a large water container or is there something in that area already and would it make travel or setups off balance if you did put a large water storage container or water heater in the space also I allways wonder if you could put a supper single mattress instead of the queen would that off set any thing .. Thank you for any response (I am not buying just looking)
I was just thinking if it was dry docked how much water it could hold
Dang, love it so much that now need to upgrade to vehicle with more tow weight. Those super-light towables will no longer satisfy. 😜
Lots of companies are starting to step up to the plate on these smaller units
Are there many class B Leasure 1999 Dodge
sorry Susan that is out of my league, sorry I cannot help you there
Thanks
