Yar time hi nahin mil raha. But I have done two podcasts on the economic question with Junaid Akram and Muzammil Syed. Both are coming out soon. They will also explain a lot. I also intend to take out a series explaining basic concepts of economics. All this requires time and honestly, I am just unable to find the time for all this important work. But I will try my best.

Successionist movements happened in Pakistan because power got concentrated in the hands of an elite that systematically used the notions of religion or security to suppress the rights of underprivileged. It is not that a common religious identity destroyed Pakistan. Bengalis and Balochs never said they don't want to be Muslims anymore. Infact Bengal chose to be independent and not become part of Indian Bengal is a testimony itself of Two Nations theory. Therefore instead of attacking religion, look at the objective issue- the elitism, the breakdown of constitutionalism and destruction of democracy. I do support your call for a federal polity with maximum affairs devolved to provinces but I don't support the idea of a Pakistan divorced from Muslim identity. And Muslim identity doesn't mean Pakistan needs to be a theocracy.

ھمارے آج کے دانشوروں کو اس نقطہ پر غور کرنے کی ضرورت ھے ۔وہ کیا عوامل ھیں جنکی وجہ سے دین اسلام کے ٹکڑے کیے گیے تفرقہ پیدا کیا گیا ۔واپس اپنی صیح جگہ پر لانے کے لیے کیا کیا جاٸۓ ۔
اگر سوشلزم اتنا غریب پرور اور تخت اچھالنے والا نظام ہے تو پھر یا تو پاکستان میں کوئی غریب نہیں ہیں اور یا شاید لوگ تخت اچھالنے اور غریب پروری کی باتوں کو صرف ایک خیالی پلاؤ سمجھتے ہیں ۔
