Crankshaft position sensors are a very common problem with these bikes. Had one where the coil was a big fat blue/white spark and the other was a weaker purple like spark. The fault was with the big fat blue white spark surprisingly.
I already replaced the pick up coil a few years ago. When it broke down this time, I replaced the spark plugs and there was spark on both. Still needed a new coil.
Had three Triumphs over my life time. Would never own another. Waited for spare parts for more than 3-4 months. And I'm talking about basic commodity spare parts. Waited three months for an Accelerator cable for my Triumph Thunderbird. Just got sick of waiting everytime I needed something.
I haven't had that long a wait, though I notice Triumph does not seem to make any parts anymore. I have definitely had more trouble with this than any other bike.
Good job woody you legend 🍻🍻🍻😎😎😎
Thanks mate
