- James Gunn is turning DC Comics upside down right now! Whether you agree with his decisions and direction, nobody can argue that DC Studios is turning heads and getting attention on the daily.
With massive, sweeping changes being scooped and announced every day, I wanted to do a little bit different video, this time focusing on characters rather than just key issues. There are definitely plenty of key issues mentioned, along with my recommendations and target prices, but this list is made up of specific characters.

A Deadman movie would be cool. It would give every actor that gets possessed a chance to show their chops. Playing two different characters personalities. Like Sam Beckett did lol.
Yeah, I agree! Deadman is ripe for an adaptation… so many possibilities and angles they could incorporate with him.
The kid that's going to play Blue Beetle I think we'll do a great job. I watched him on COBRA Kai grow up pretty much and his acting emotional wise has gotten really good lately. I think he's going to be the Blue Beetle for quite a while.
I think he was the PERFECT casting choice. As soon as the announcement came through that he had been cast, it immediately elevated the property in my eyes. And some young actors are stars… you know they’ll be major actors in the coming years and he’s definitely one of those.
Another one who’s on the rise and one to watch is Jenna Ortega, from the new Wednesday series.
On that Titan book I love the 70s outfits they had on for their costumes. They look like they're on out for a night on the town nowadays with the freaks out there. LOL

Looking forward to the Blue Beetle movie! Nightwing is just amazing, hope they do him right. Hope the rumors of Jason Mamoa as Lobo come to fruition. I think, despite all of the shifts over at DC movie Universe, James Gunn is going to do some great things 🤘

You spotlighted my favorite character, I understand he's not your favorite and I get that. He's a pretty jarring character. I think you not paying more than $100 for a high grade copy of OM 3 feels spot on with the market. Great list, I've been branching out and learning about more characters in the DC universe and loving the universe even more as of the last couple of years.
I guess I should clarify… while Lobo isn’t one of my favorite characters, I do think he’s very distinctive and could absolutely be one that a multi-picture franchise is built upon.
@Carlos Collects Comics man. I consider myself a super fan and EVEN WITH a 64 issue run in the 90s that made DC a lot of money, I just wonder if fans like me and a little older than me that love and cherish the 90s are dying out? I say that because Lobo being a multi movie franchise while the greatest thing to happen to me in this hobby and something I've been dreaming of for a decade, I don't know if Lobo can carry that kind of load. I would assume at best he cameos in a couple movies and it builds into just one solo film....
I will take your "multi film franchise" comment as ultimate respect from someone who isn't a mark like me haha.

I think Nightwing is going to be the new Batman for dc. Then what I mean by that is he's going to take over for Batman and then later on down the line they'll bring Batman back.
He’s done it already! In the “Prodigal Son” storyline it actually worked quite well.
I'm beginning to think Lobo is his next Punisher myself. DC needs a hit Punisher was a hit do you like all the other in the comic books they do change the name and do the same thing. LOL
I definitely think Lobo could support a full franchise.
