The lack of music in some scenes really makes the situation feel more dire.
I didn't like at first but it's starting to grow on me
Just noticed that, shows confidence in the story telling.
For some reason I immediately thought of the Inception episode of South Park with that guy doing the music...BAAAWH BUH BUH BUH BAAWH

These three movies were really meandering in their pacing. Felt like they'd never end. It was like we got a film filled with the most wooden versions of these characters.
They were boring and so off-canon as to be ridiculous, it shouldn't even have the same name as the classic comics which I have.
this is WORSE than the other two IF this is even possible... and HOW can a Dinasour drag a Superman strenght-level being like Wonder Woman as if she was a rag doll???
I suppose it could be worse though. I mean, the source material isnt exactly treated the best here, but DC animated stuff has been a bit of an olive branch when you consider the dire state that comics and superhero movies are in right now.
@@deadturret4049 Not really, and it's Marvel's/Disney's faults for over-saturating the market on a short term fascination and they're still doing it like with Cap America, who was far more than shield, so Falcon is still just the Falcon...no super soldier with unerring aim and physics-defying shield throwing, though Madame Web set a new low next to the Marvels. When I watch those movies now, it's so easy to see how lame they are and were, but it was the fad at the time, and it was SO tiring to have everyone claiming to be a fan when they've never bought a comic in their lives, lol. DC is so bad that they're too cheap to even put chapter selections in their cartoons (they don't deserve to be called 'movies')!!
@@deadturret4049 Except for the poster/case pics, they were almost nothing like the comics. I have most of them and both the Flash's and Supergirl's deaths were dramatic and each saved us all from the AM in one instance of its attacks.
I’ll say, delivered better than Arrowverse attempt at Crisis. Kevin Conroy got his acknowledgment

Matt Ryan proved himself the ultimate Constantine. Time to make a Constantine game, at least as detailed as Arkham Asylum with him as the voice.

I don’t think thats the same one we know. Based on what we learn in this film, Darkseid doesn’t seem to exist any of the multiverse in this film, but since Darkseid does exist in the DCAU, the JL that looked liked from the DCAU we just saw in the film could be a separate canon event.
I think they are alright, even in the new multiverse. Still hurts a little of what we just saw happened.

Hopefully, we'll see him again. Seeing as he's immortal, it doesn't seem likely they'll get rid of him and send him to Heaven or whatever. Seeing as he's going with Spectre, I imagine he'll be like Power Girl post-crisis during the pre-New 52!/Rebirth (pre-Flashpoint) timeline, where she was a remnant of pre-crisis Earth-2 and survived after falling through the cracks during the collapse of the original multiverse. She also still remembered everything. I hope Constantine is like that.

I thought this was reference that original Superman in Jerry Siegel's initial comics never had heat vision (which was, until John Byrne reboot in 1986 just more intense version of x-ray vision) and only gained year after Siegel got fired. But then they both had heat vision a little bit later.
Golden age Superman did not have heat vision

Part three was the best DC movie ever made. Better than any live action movie. They did very well on this mainly because of The Super Friends, which I grew up watching as a child, and seeing Kevin Conroy's 90s Batman, having a final ending while fighting The Joker, which was voiced by Mark Hamill. Seeing The Batman from the 90s was totally unexpected.

I hope we get a live action adaptation of Crisis that’s done well. This was better compared to the CW but still felt lacking in some places. Also didn’t really enjoy this take on the Anti-Monitor
No thanks. CoIE doesn't need yet another adaptation, let alone a live action one. DC has so many iconic event stories to choose from they don't need to keep going back to this one.

So tbh I agree we should get another proper one it be cool to see someone actually get this story right instead of just saying well we tried Twice with a half baked job essentially. If anything that just turns me off more to DC

@@FalloutVault878CoIE loses much of its weight and impact if its isn't built on years of continuity like the original and you aren't familiar with these specific versions if the charcaters already.
Its also not really that great a story, it's important because it had a huge impact on DC and comics in general but it's not peak storytelling or anything.
@@101MantI’ll agree that it takes time to build an depending on how they would adapt ( should they ever do it again) it would take years. However that’s something I feel can easily be done with post credit scenes an making small things in a movie that may hint at doing that. Also I will 100% disagree on that it’s not a great story. Maybe it’s not to you and that’s perfectly fine but to me an a lot of my comic book friends this is definitely one of the best DC stories. So agree to disagree on that. Now if you want to compare it to let’s say Marvel Secret Wars 2015 I will yield an say that’s 100% better

Even though CoIE Part 1 is when JL actually united, Warworld was more of DC Trinity film and Legion of Superheroes was more of Supergirl & Brainiac and can't stand up to DCAMU level

Like I won't lie Kevin Conroy final Batman line made me cry and it was the perfect farewell to him as a child he was my hero and I think the world is a just less awesome without him

I think when they re-release this movie as a Deluxe edition, it's going to be 3 hours long.
for those that don’t know, they’re ending it like this because gunn universe connects to animation. So whatever was being worked on get to finish so they had to conclude this universe & anything going forward so their won’t be anymore stand alone animation films or a dc animated universe. Everything will be connected to what gunn is doing & nothing else unless it was already put into production ( the new Batman series, Batman ninja 2 & the batman 2) all animated movies will be part of gunn universe & nothing else

Gunn said his universe is connected in video games & through animation. You kids are so naive & such simps for superhero content that with gunn you will have no choice. My understanding is that the anti-monitor is destroying any universe that doesnt have a darkseid thanks to john constantine. Even though we see the old bruce timm DCAU being destroyed, its not the same DCAU because that version doesnt have a darkseid. Batman TAS all the way through to Batman Beyond still happens, as does the Harley Quinn Show, and various spinoff animated movies that came before the new 52 adaptation.

@@gogeta_072 No i mean the old shows weren't included in the infinite crisis. The Kevin Conroy Batman we see isnt the one from the DCAU, but a similar universe where Superman never had an encounter with Darkseid because Constantine prevented Darkseid from existing in the first place. The old animated shows still exist as far as I can tell.
I'm pretty sure in the comics, the New 52 was supposed to be a post-crisis universe, so I think the real answer is "Don't think about it"

I guess this is how the WB's solve the complaint of the several in consistencies in stories and JL characters. Dismantling the "Multiverse" & to start over again to a new narrative, and to align with rival Marvel's consistent stories once & for all, and they did it the dramatic way...
