THIS SENSEI IS EXCEPTIONAL. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF. REMEMBER, HE'S JUST DEMONSTRATING. AT FULL SPEED THIS TECHNIQUE TAKES HALF A SECOND & AT FULL SPEED VOCITY IS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREAZED HE'S BEING NICE
You're not wrong, tai otoshi is my least favourite landing as uke. Harai goshi seems like it would be worse, but it's no big deal, whereas a full speed tai otoshi is scary.
If you break the grip and wear his sleeve as a seat belt, uke is pulled into your side. How does this affect performance and injury mitigation? Ie a Kenshiro Abbe tai otoshi?

That technique was nice and clean.

I noticed he doesn't turn his foot up while executing tai otoshi
Can you tell more about your belt? Never seen before...
Can you Tai Otoshi with a sleeve grip as opposed to the elbow grip?
Is it ok to use the belt crossed in the back like that??
How do you do the other angle with the same guy? What kind of magic is this?
How about for no gi
exactly the same. just grab head and wrist.
