  • It has been a LONG time since posting, which I apologize for. A lot has happened too! This video is of a huge opportunity I had this summer to create some floral art for our county's Parade of Homes. This piece is called "Princess Poppies." It was commissioned for a baby's room in one of the houses, and was my very first large floral, measuring at 48x48. This is a timelapse of me laying the foundation work for the painting. Part 2 will be a time-lapse of the detail work (coming soon!). Thanks for your patience, everyone! I hope you enjoy!

WOW. Truly WOW. How long does it take for the paint (?) to dry? Incredible work.

Thanks so much, Spencer! For a painting this large, it takes about a week for the flowers to harden completely.

The medium is acrylic paint along with three different acrylic mediums that allow it to hold it's shape like that. Thanks for the interest in it! :-)

You are so talented! Are you using acrylics? How long does it take to dry?
