As per me, challenges in terms of a Ba role is more on the lines of frequent requirement change requests, or a requirement which has been difficult to cater to in a direct way ,and an ultimate BA solution crafted the biz goal ! Resourcing is more of a management stuff
Business analyst mainly focus on gathering the requirements. how a BA initiates a project, what techniques will he/she use to achieve it . some technical questions like t-shirt sizing , Moscow prioritization etc depending upon the industry and business.
More of a Project Manager interview instead of Business Analyst. BAs shouldn't be bother about Resources, cost cutting or budget issues, challenging for BAs can be difficult stakeholders, conflicts with teams, SMEs, requirement changes.
