Bro you kill it. I like the Mixing tips. a little vague. but got the point across to more experienced pruducers and engineers. keep it up man. #killinit
yo dude actually some quite important tips to mixing. great vid my dude! And i would love to see this series continue because it already looks good from the first vid 😄😄 and also it would be cool if you showed us how you did Overdose maybe? 😄 anyways yeah luv you fabian and have a good day/night
Video is awesome. Great mixing tips. Can you make a video on how to clear the sounds and overcome phasing problems to make the mix sound more clear and loud at the same time? Also it will be great if you can make a video of just mixing a whole track covering all the aspects. Though it can be too long but it'll be very useful.
a video on mixing levels, kick vs bass, synths vs drums etc would be awesome, including if your limiting and clipping these elements separately before mixing together on the master track! cheers FM!
I just got a TRS 5 Metering Plug-in, Now, here's the problem. I couldn't understanding what's going on there with all those spectrum and meters. Please do a tutorial on Metering, FM 🙏
use the spectrum analyzer. and then play your reference track through it to understand what a good mix should look like. look at the colour and "heat" of the high end.
Whatsup man. Can you maybe do something on prepping your mix before you master it? For example where all the levels should be and if you should use limiters during the mixing process.
Love your music. Explain how u make a sound/turn a sound not so pleasant to something awesome. If you could, please make a sound for us and make it sound dope (live
My mix sounds good on my monitors but when I test it on my car audio there is common problem that happens every time with my tracks is that as soon as the bass kicks in the whole track goes flat and thin especially during the drop. Basically it compromises all the low frequencies and again when there gaps in the middle of the drop where there is no bass and kick, it's gets loud again. I tried to manage the proper sequence on my indi. channel strip and also tried not to over compress my sounds and mix but still facing that problem. Any suggestions?
Hella Sus What really did it for me was having your 808 not that loud in the mix. Have the kick hit atleast 3db louder then the 808 so there's an actual impact rather then a sustained pad (just like a stab lead sounds heavier then a sustaining pad). Also, higher keys are easier to mix in but don't go too high because it will lose it's power (lower key is harder because the sub gets less audible at some point). And ofcourse sidechain the 808 with the kick to prevent overlapping frequncies and volume. With that you're pretty much set, simple sine sub is usually fine. Distortion doesn't always make the 808 heavier, sometimes it just makes it harder to mix in. Let the 808 play the sub frequencies and your leads and whatever do the higher part, distort those instead.
Μy leads are weak and when they are not, my bass is weak,i low cut all the lead and i boost the bass region, but i always end up with that problem, I don't use compression except from sausage fattener and sound goodizer (a little)so maybe thats the problem, any suggestions?
Xx_Zombies _ Fear soundgoodizer not really what u need, give em their own space in the mix, don’t boost because u think the mix is lacking something. U should eq to cut of freq or just adding character to sound, I don’t know what ur problem really is but my advice is to give em space so they can fit where they belong.
Love your music! So underrated. Greetings from Argentina!

Thank you! I would love to see how and why you choose your kick drums. I'm really struggling to have a nice and punchy kick in my mixes.
Will talk a bit about that in a video for sure!

Отличные советы!
Also is your oatmeal brand coming soon?? I’ve been eating plain Quaker Oats with protein mixed in but I’m excited to try your brand!
Hopefully! haha. I would love to release an Oatmeal at one point!
izotope plugins are a life saver for me when it comes to mixing and mastering. I recomend!
YUP! Agreed!
This video is awesome thanks!! Also i have a question; the mixing is really important for record labels? And, hit music or good mixing?
Yes, I think it is. The mix is something that gives your song that extra 10-20%!!
Do you use stereo image on oatmeal tho?
hey fabian can u make a track submit or feedback kind of video sessions
When i drop this breakdown?
Sick!!
Are there some rules about the level of specific sound in trap music. Like the kick should always hit de -3db before the Mastering etc.. ?
Nope, no rules of levels really! But try to mix with a lot of headroom (even tho I don't even always do this)
i've never clicked on a video so fast
#notificationgang
Yo Cld u plzzzz do a tutorial on "murda" with snavs
What's the name of the track from Herobust, you mentioned?
