I wrapped a butter knife in between a thin microfiber cloth and slid it behind each marker front and rears to compress that clip and they popped out. Scratched the paint a little behind the lights but you cant see it behind the markers. Took me 10 minutes to do all 4. Easy peezy
I took mine out because it has been broken for a long time and a prong from the old one was broken inside the wire, it’s so small I don’t know how to get it out
Anyone know a way to get them snug? I bought 2 different sets now and they’re always loose in the back. The OEM ones on the other hand are tight and don’t have a gap between the back of them and the car.
Those are easy to install you can pry them out from the outside of the car without having to open the trunk and remove the liner to push them out from the inside
Charlz85 Yea it's one of those pieces that is a whole housing. The part itself is inexpensive enough which is the reason for that. You just replace the whole thing. I found good after market ones on amazon for a total $40 for 2. :)
That's exactly what I saw on ebay, after about standing in walmart at the bulbs for like 3o minutes wondering where they would go. Acura is bad at making you replace everything! I guess they want you to waste money for them....
Hey I have an Acura TL 2007, and my right side view mirror blinker has gone out. Can you make a video of that? There's none of those on RUclips or anywhere
Yours is just like mine same year but different colors and I got no Navigation. Did you do your rear side markers with cheap Ebay pair vs dealer part? Is it working good?
When it comes to small parts like these it is not wise to pay the 300% markup that a dealer will charge for the price. This video is what, 5 years old and they are still working great, so Amazon is your best bet.
Дядя Федя yeah man check ebay if you want oem or even offerup and see if anybody is selling oem ones if that’s what you’re looking for. Usually can get each for $15 or the whole set for under $70

Does it matter if you leave the clips off mine broke 😭
Are the new LED brighter than the stock ones?
Great job buddy!

I’ve seen a thread where you have to shave down the gaskets/padding to get them to fit. Just put mine on and had the same issue
@@chris-nx8rz thank you brother, I just returned them and went oem
Thanks for the video, I have some should be here tomorrow! Can't wait to install them for my 04 TL.
Charlz85 Hope they go well!!
They appear to be the same type as yours, with the stripes.
Will those mirrors lights plug and play on an 04 TL
They should. TLs from 04'-08' are the same model and parts.
@@mikeymikeike so they have the same wiring then?
@@shanem1509 yes👍
how you call those lights?
Not sure of your question? Like the name of them? They are called side markers
So what about the rears?
Those are easy to install you can pry them out from the outside of the car without having to open the trunk and remove the liner to push them out from the inside
Those you can pop out. I was just being extra on the front.
What about the bulb??? Do you gotta replace the entire assembly??

Charlz85 remember can just replace with Honda parts as well since acura is Honda :)
Oh okay so I can just search Honda Accord sidemarker assembly on ebay, and maybe save a few bucks sounds good
Pretty much but like I said found mine on amazon that said specifically 2004-2008 Acura TL,, it was like $30-40 for the set. So it's not expensive.

marco bernal It's in my page...its literally within the side view mirror replacement video :)...lmk if you have issue.
i have the same problem..!!
How do you get one hand, with a screwdriver, and pop a clip?
Freddie B The plastic is "spring loaded" in a sense. So once the tension is lose from the clip being loosened up it will come off.
So, you don't need the screw driver to push the clip in.
Freddie B Screwdriver is just a little sturdier.

Thank you very much.
When u ordered these they came in 2 right ? Or do u have to buy each side separately
ORLANDO GARZA Yea they should say "set" but just make sure you confirm that in the description where you're buying them.
You need to show how to take it off. Not have a person guess. Thats how do it yourself videos work.
Listen, if you can't figure something out by someone giving you 80-90% of the information, I don't know what to tell you. You are just not that handy.
