The prosecution’s argument confuses the purpose of sealing with the ability to redact for the safety of witnesses… abusing the sealing of motions is inappropriate… I believe if we were able to see the documents we would be able to more clearly see who exactly is delaying this case, at the expense of the taxpayers and the victims families… redact personal information by all means, but allow the public to be witness to the proceedings already allowed by statute and law… if the state has a problem with how much can be revealed in documents that aren’t sealed, then they can certainly take it up with their legislators…

I have to give Idaho credit though. I lived through and have studied the OJ case. That was the most ridiculous farce ever and the media ( and Judge) made it what it was. Idaho has gagged this case and have successfully prevented it from becoming a nightmare with potential appellate contentions. Not many people in Idaho so this stuff has been necessary to even try to have a fair jury trial.
