I've seen a few other videos like this on the My 600 Pound Life and it still blows my mind some people get so large. I do accept that some people are unable to control urges and temptations due to their upbringing. I always cheer for those that take control of their life and lose weight to finally get out of their body prison.

Bus Drivers actually have quite a stressful job. I think "Obviously not strenuous" is a bit insensitive, since all you do is sit in front of a camera and edit some videos.
And before you think "I meant physically active", you used Strenuous, which implies exertion, which can be mental. Constantly having to be aware of your surroundings while being responsible for several lives is going to exhaust your body no matter what.

I like how you highlighted the triumphs as well as the failures. I feel like so many RUclipsrs just focus on the shock factor and make fun of the show participants; not on the fact that they’re all at least attempting to improve their life and future.
My mom and I promised we'd lose weight and get our lives back on track. I was 220 due to major depressive disorder (I'm on meds now). And my mom, her feet make it so she can barely walk or even stand for long. Only in short bursts. She was around 260.
I'm down to 169 now and my goal is 150 by the end of this year. My mom is up to 300 now. We both have type 2 diabetes. I'm managing mine with diet and small exercise. I go out with friends at least once a week. My mom just sits on the couch all day. I don't know what to do. She's 58, and I'm 21, I'm trying my best to take care of her while working a full-time job. My dad tries his best as well. I'm stressing hard

Mean and nice people exist in all different shapes and sizes. When someone falls victim to any kind of addiction (food in this case), it is ultimately up to them to follow through with actually working towards recovery. Some people make it out because they truly care enough to do so, and others never succeed and even die as a result of their poor attitude and impulsivity.

I know that I shouldn’t be happy about James King’s death but I ABSOLUTELY am. I wouldn’t have fed him. I’d take his phone away and leave the house. What is he gonna do about it? Chase me? And I would NEVER take my child out of school for any reason. His wife and daughter were his slaves. Now that he isn’t there anymore they both are free and can actually live their lives. His daughter can go and get her GED and maybe go to college if she wants to. His wife can be free and start her life. Maybe find a man that doesn’t treat you like a dog. 🤷🏻♀️ maybe they can get some therapy 🤷🏻♀️ They might be conflicted like I am 🤷🏻♀️. They know that they shouldn’t be happy/relieved that he’s passed. But he was their husband/Dad. I’m sure that there is a part of them that’s sad. When I went no contact with my abusive Mother a part of me sighed in relief. And there was a part that was so sad. It hurt so bad to “lose” my mother. But I gave her a choice. She could stop doing ABCDEFG, and she could continue being a part of our lives . I set that boundary line and there was no wiggle room. If she wanted to Grandma to my sons. She got so mad started cussing me out in a mix of English and Korean. She screamed that she’d kill my children before she would let me take them away from her. My kids were scared because their grandma just said she was going to kill them and they were sobbing and shaking behind me and I seriously LOST MY FUCKING MIND. I told my husband to call 911 because I’m going to kill her. Then I blacked out. I woke up in the hospital in restraints. When I had to go to court I saw the damage I did to her and laughed so hard.

Hearing Sean’s weight at 1000lbs to the point where the special scale couldn’t even handle it was insane and makes you wonder how he was still alive at that point. His age was most likely saving him all that time but even that luck ran out when he turned 29.

Honestly, I wish it was possible for me to contact Dr. Now privately and see if he'd be able to help me lose weight since, over the past 10 years, I've gone from 188 to 380 and I.. desperately want to lose said weight but.. it's difficult when my partner's mum refuses to cooperate with helping us change our diets to something much healthier since we live with her and she controls everything (even though we constantly keep trying to get her to stop being so controlling)

James King was the worst , and he thought he was smarter than everybody , and how he was crying like a baby don't drop me , and he was so lazy and such a pig he ate to the point he looked like a frog on a science table with sores all over his legs and yet they put him in a bed with a handle and he goes OH missed and he acted like he would use it , like the weights you can tell he is the guy who will talk act like he exercises and you can count his work outs on one hand and with little to no effort , but put food in front of him he can shovel that into his mouth and before people how would I know I had muscle disease , blood cance rotatater cuff disease and had heart surgery was told I would be in a chair no way i work out 5 to 6 days a week and got up to 198 with a 28 inch waist could fo the splits then caught covid which almost best me now 154 back training hard and i will get my size back and I want them to win but they must want it
