My water broke early at 28 weeks. Told me I would be there for 6 weeks bed ridden. Baby came in 6days with less than 1cm left of amniotic fluid left. Natural birth. Told me c section. 89 days in NICU and baby is now 7m meeting all milestones and growth chart. Praise the Lord. Praying for a happy safe baby and birth for you
Megan you have so much to be thankful for, a beautiful home and a roof over your head, please please don't be complaining, so many are less fortunate, and yet so happy😊 with what they have! So let's try not to complain, God has granted us so much!!
I had twins in 2022- and our daughter had a VCI cord… both were growth restricted.. was seen every 3 days at the Doctor.. got induced at 36wks, our son had to be transferred to a hospital 2hrs away.. so I recovered postpartum In a hotel- asked God everyday- why me??… 5 days later we were home.. they are both healthy. Happy kids! And the experience taught me that there are moms out there who go thru worse.. and our bodies are amazing.. we just have to trust in God! Prayers for you and the baby! ❤
You and Josh are amazing parents. I love to see the children helping with baking. Praying for a safe pregnancy. Josh reminds me so much of my late husband, who could turn his hand to house repairs.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for you, your baby boy, and your doctors. God preforms miracles! My granddaughter goes tomorrow night to be induced as her fluid is low and the doctors are afraid her placenta is not working right. At least she is just a few days from her due date.

My daughter was born at 3 lbs 6 oz and 4 weeks premature because of umbilical cord problems. What does VCI cord mean?

Basically a section of her cord was missing- the the vessels were exposed, it was also adhered to the uterus wall, and inserted on the edge of the placenta.. 😞.. it was so scary, and they wouldn’t allow us to go full term because If her vessels became to strained, they could rupture cheating her and myself to hemorrhage.

I hear alot of " its not perfect, could have been better" throughout your videos.
There is no such thing as perfection! Once one realizes this and just enjoys lifes journey, things become alot less stressful. Remember our children are always listening to the words we use.

You have a beautiful home and in NO way is your kitchen ugly. I hate to hear people say things like that when they are so blessed. You have a wonderfully big kitchen with tons of storage. You may want to update and make it more to your liking but you have a lovely home and so much more than some. I enjoy seeing all the updates but no room in your home is ugly! I am praying for your pregnancy!

Agreed. I look at these bloggers kitchens and other spaces and they complain about how it's not pretty, or whatever and I am thinking.... They would flee the state, maybe the country if they saw my old, half done, half falling apart, holes in the walls and sideways counter. 😂 It's ok though, its a work in progress.

Praying for you and baby! With my second, he was measuring in less than the 2nd percentile. I sat through sooo many appointments and tests. They’d tell me all the things that could be wrong with him that’s making him small and that we should prepare ourselves that he’d be a NICU baby. He was born at 38 weeks weighing a tiny 5 lb 1 oz but perfect, healthy and happy. We got to go home the same day he was born. It was very stressful but I’m so glad I had God to lean on!
Hi Megan! I've been subscribed to your channel for a couple of years now but I don't comment as often. I love how intentional you are with your family and doing and creating memories for them. It's super inspiring as a single women desiring marriage someday, and to have a family of my own. Also, the top in the beginning of the video looked great. I’m watching this video a little late because Your 39 weeks! I wanted to say I usually love being pregnant as well but my 5th and last pregnancy I had a subchoronic hemmorhage the entire time. It was scary to say the least and my anxiety was out the roof. He is here now and was born at 39 weeks one day! Praying for a smooth labor and recovery Megan! ( if it hasn’t happened yet!)

I know the stress of fixing up houses. We are still doing little bits as we can on ours. It can be fun to dream (I tend to be the visionary in our relationship also), but it can be a lot at times too when it comes to doing the projects especially while raising kids. Keeping it realistic has preserved my sanity while we have our 4 children at home still. With that said, I personally would just keep your kitchen as is for now. It looks very nice and doesn't seem to need repairs. Changing up decor can give a different look without as much stress in this season of life you are in. Just some thoughts as we moms tend to put a lot on ourselves unnecessarily when we already have alot going on.
Also, I will keep you in my prayers with the pregnancy concerns you are facing❤ I too wish us women didn't have to deal with the emotional highs and lows as much as we do. My husband is very steady in his emotions and so if it weren't for him, I would find myself in a depression or make some extreme choices probably. He has talked me out of things that I am glad he did looking back on it! He keeps me balanced thankfully. I hope you also can lean on Josh at this time of need as our men are there for a reason 🙂

Josh can take online free lessons from Marty Schultz. My husband learned to play when he was 55 and ended up joining a bluegrass band and they played for churches and charities and it was a such a wonderful ministry.

Don't get on yourself for being too emotional friend. When it comes to our children that's our super power, it's an intense, almost indescribable type of love. That's what sets us apart in a special way from our Husbands (most of the time) in my opinion. Praying for you and your Family. I myself have all the rationality in the world but when it comes to my babies it's a whole different ball game. Give yourself some grace and you'll find the right balance of emotion and rational. I understand the quandary with home renovations! We're redoing our staircase, too, as well as flooring. One thing definitely leads to another and that's why we kept putting it off. Your home is lovely and the choice of color for the stairs and runner adds the perfect cozy and welcoming touch to your entry!
