I normally dislike the super random, intensely weird stuff but somehow Aunty Donna pulls it off so perfectly and they are some of my favorite comedy right now
I fucking love the exact feeling they're explaining. That feeling of finding something so weird that just connects with you on a level you can't explain and you're just hooked for life immediately.
These blokes are top notch legends. I was never a fan of ”lol random haha scream! Boop boop” but I think it's like acid. Too much and it makes you uncomfortable but with smaller doses you may have a real good giggle
I was the same. You're definitely going to want to check out the podcast. It's like a completely raw version of them, I've had to take minutes to pause and cry with laughter and I'm only on episode 30/271
I'd love to see a sketch where Egg just fucking destroys them in a wrestling match. Or a matchup between Egg and Awesome Kong. As long as someone's getting powerslammed I'll be happy
I fell in love immediately after watching the pilot episode "everything's a drum". They bait you in to judge them for how stupid it is, and then metaphorically smack your face by a subverting your expectations with that incredible acting and voiceover and soundscape. Bamboozled. Hoodwinked.
Glad they are talking about the boosh because as soon as I started watching these guys it reminded me of mighty boosh and I fell in love. Great to see these guys keeping this style of comedy going
La sensación que describe Mark es 💫tal cual💫 la emoción de pertenecer a un nicho que nadie más entiende es casi inexplicable y te hace sentir especial y único. AMOR infinito a Aunty Donna💖
Zack is my favorite member. Don't get me wrong, Broden and Mark have their moments, but Zack just radiates live action cartoon energy, and puts his all into any sketch he's in.
The conversation about feeling protective, involved, proud etc. of niche things hits home big time for me. The Aunty Donna boys rule hard and I'm so proud they're Aussie. I really don't want to hijack or dim their spotlight, but with that being said there is an amazing mockumentary style show that blurs boundaries between real and fake better than maybe anything I've ever seen and is so goddamn funny at the same time. It's called "Nirvana the Band the Show" and I think a good chunk of Aunty Donna's audience would like it, it really needs/deserves way more attention. So after watching all of ADBoHoF and their youtube sketches, do yourself (and by proxy me) a favour and check out Nirvana the Band the Show. If you're in Australia you can watch both seasons on SBS on demand.
Are you me?? NtBtS is such a great show, and in a similar vein to Aunty Donna (having been a fan for years) something that I feel so much more intimately involved with purely because other people don’t “get it”. I tried showing my girlfriend and she didn’t love it the way I did, which almost made me feel more proud of the show, like it was more made for me. Still holding out hope the boys will find a way to release Season 3 eventually ❤️ definitely worth a watch on SBS On Demand to anyone who hasn’t seen!
As an Aussie of the same age as these guys, I find it fascinating that DAAS isn't mentioned. For me, that was the first time I got that "special feeling" theyre banging on about.
Ngl I only watch this show when I am stoned af cause I am able to understand it better. Am also high now and I know understand this show. It's about friends bring roommate's and helping each other with friend things and sometimes it's about life in itself, kind of like you know when you think about life and you are like wow how do I life? But it make sense because the dishwasher is like the deity to make them be better than humans
I got introduced to aunty donna through netflix and I thought it was stupid and got bored. But I kept watching just a bit longer. Then I watched the entire season. Then I re-watched the entire first season. Then I've been watching all their content on youtube. I think this is how cults start.
we're all autistic to some dergree boys. im glad "weird" and "quarkey" can be referred to as such and not alienated. even the ed helms story. We got this.
Just accidently discovered them on Netflix this month and my life has been changed. It's absurdity that requires intelligence to recognize the insanity at a level that I've never gotten from absurdist's before.
I'm not going to pretend I'm not on the defensive lol, but I think it is true that the show isn't them at their best. Give a few of their RUclips skits a try
The guy in the top right looks like Broden Kelly from famous Australian comedy sketch group Aunty Donna.
Nah, man. That’s Ellen DeGeneres
Hes actually a drum
I think it's merely a coincidence.
It looks a lot like him buts it’s not, that’s actually MANBEAST, also known as MANBEAST.
No it's cowdoy
I normally dislike the super random, intensely weird stuff but somehow Aunty Donna pulls it off so perfectly and they are some of my favorite comedy right now
I feel it's because with Aunty Donna, the joke never relys on just shock alone, unlike almost every Tim and Eric or Eric Andre show skit.
I normally like the super random but i really dislike this show
Aunty Donna and Eric Andre don't fall into the "haha random" category, like there's some sort of substance in their jokes despite the lack of depth
@@Solaire_of_Astora13 agreed, they both have impecable timing and delivery

Please, for the love of blue orb.... Netflix..... let these boys make a season two
November 10!

The laughing at Monty Python without understanding the full context of the joke really hit home for me.
This is an ex-parrot.
If only there was some kind of Dominos pizza deal that involved Melbourne’s 5th best sketch-comedy trio.
I’d take 2 large pizzas, 1 liter Pepsi, and a garlic bread any time

These guys need a dominos franchise
I love Aunty Donna. I also love it when people I show Aunty Donna hate Aunty Donna
Honestly, I do get a thrill from the latter.
Love Aunty Donna, never would have known about them without Netflix! I have been watching so much of their endless backlog!
Welcome brother 👊
These blokes are top notch legends. I was never a fan of ”lol random haha scream! Boop boop” but I think it's like acid. Too much and it makes you uncomfortable but with smaller doses you may have a real good giggle
Plus they're more than just random scream now, I mean I reckon the kiln is a pretty good bit
What makes Aunty Donna so funny is how close to unfunny they are, while still being funny
i would completely disagree with this and just say they are straight up hilarious
I see what you mean they walk a fine line and rather perfectly
“Funny and relatable” I guess lol
I’m glad they mentioned The Mighty Boosh, when I try and suggest Aunty Donna to people that’s the comparison I make.
I have never laughed so hard as I did binge watching this show, had never heard of them and just went all in. Look forward to more!
Just checking you found their RUclips channel? 5 yrs or so of sketches!
I was the same. You're definitely going to want to check out the podcast. It's like a completely raw version of them, I've had to take minutes to pause and cry with laughter and I'm only on episode 30/271
When is the next season at? Will we have another one? I have wathced it over like 3 times already. Its pure gold. There is no weak link in this group.
I LOVE THIS SHOW AND I HAVE TRIED TO CONVINCE ANYONE CONSENTING TO WATCH IT AND I KEEP WATCHING IT OVER AND OVER AND I’M OK WITH IT
Zach's belly laugh makes me feel warm inside
I remember my friend and I finding aunty Donna when their channel was super small. So crazy to see how far they've come!
Haven’t you done well
@@ryd00 ah yes. Bevies with the boys?

5:28 Mark doing that 'hmm' sound you make when someone says something profound.
It’s so trippy lol, the cheeky tea one is crazy lol
I can confirm... amazing when shredded. Still very good sober loll

I have become an Aunty Donna fan because I saw the show at first. Thank you!

If you somehow listen to Dynamic Banter as well then yes I am you
Watching Aunty Donna is one of my favourite things to do while high
I watched Aunty Donna while on mushrooms. I started to wonder if you could pass out from laughing so much
Clearly they were talking about Ed Helms and not the guy that executively produced the show
*Egg Helms
You all are fuckin awesome. Make another season
As an Aussie of the same age as these guys, I find it fascinating that DAAS isn't mentioned. For me, that was the first time I got that "special feeling" theyre banging on about.
The beans thing actually is relatable 😂
that George Carlin in the background is just beautiful
It's cool that they got the older third property brother to executive produce their show
It actually is I’ve always said this to my friends who smoke weed always funny when u r stoned.
Paying respect to Tim and Eric
Holy shit it’s Pizza McGreaseman, Egg with Hair, and the Sovereign of the moon all in one zoom call!!?!?
I’d let Zach win too. He’s a cinnamon roll 💜💜💜

It’s criminal there’s no season 2. Y’all messed up Netflix! 😔
What is this show I need to watch it
Aunty Donna's Big Ol House Of Fun on Netflix :)
Legit though, The dooners are fucking amazing while high.
Nice
I'm stoned watching this even
same lol
The first time I watched the show I was tripping and I thought the show was made for a trip 😭
adult animaniacs ? ... Looking forward to season 2
I literally only watched this high XD
Aye!
Same but I’m always high so
I clicked when I saw the nose 👃🏻
I'm the backwards man the backwards man, I can go backwards faster than you can.
Don’t you mean egg helms?
I found this when I was baked and loved it. Watched it sober the morning after and still chuckled, but it was nowhere near as good 😂

"We wanted to crack America..."

You kept saying Helms's name wrong. :(
The guy on the top left looks like the younger version of Carlo Verdone.

When do they bring up sourdough?
Never mind Monty python, The Young Ones forever!
The kind of comedy 1/2 of he sketches I cringe at and don’t laugh the other 1/2 lose my absolute shit to
Weed or a hint of shrooms. Not a full shrooms trip though then it’s scary
Phil Collins copyright claim Mark. "I remember, I remember."
Three of the four people on the call were funny.
Netflix radio what now?
I can’t believe I have a smell broden
These guys are for sure the slightly weird out there kids who don't need drugs for fun, just drama club!
Please tell me there is some truth to the wrestling story?
This is all well and good but, do they like/get Pee Wee Herman?

who the fuck is ed? do they mean egg helms?
Sorry i smell broden
