Thank you for the shout-out Alex!! I'm so glad to have been a subscriber on this channel since you were at 5k Subs! I enjoy every video you produce. I've learned so much, keep on pressing on! I hope soon you can fill those other benches with techs!
Of all the YT channels, why would this one even have a thumbs down icon? THERE IS NO REASON TO DISLIKE ANYTHING ABOUT THESE VERY INSTRUCTIVE VIDEO SESSIONS!!!! Then, I say unto you............WHO THE HELL IS EVEN GIVING THIS A THUMBS DOWN?????? "Come on MAN!" , tell me, you "Thumbs down cowards!!!! What was it you didn't like about the show? The T shirt that Mr. Alex wears? Maybe the room decorations? It's a work shop, it's supposed to be cluttery like Santa's. Or is it that you're an electronic tech who is envious of the incredible talent and skill level of Mr. Alex....... What ever it is, SHAME ON YOU!!!
The trace repair videos are some of my favorite and I know the microscope makes the space look average size but the wires are close to the thickness of a hair.
I don’t really even work on electronics but I was able to help a friend with his laptop issue because of this channel. I really enjoy it and appreciate the effort he puts out. For some reason I feel the need to have a complete electronics workstation set up just in case I ever need to fix something again. 😂
Great analysis and fix again Alex. So weird that the previous repairshop just scraped te surface of the chip but did not even clean the liquid damage. Glad you repaired it the customer will be very happy.
Thought I'd add this info to your channel for others to see. I just learned that if you remove a broken screen from an Apple iphone of the 12 or 13 model, there is a BGA chip on the screen (the original one that you will be removing from the phone). So, though it's a micro job and requires some balling experience, it can be done and you won't lose any of the other features of the phone as before. Not sure if there is a "get around" if you have to replace the camera as well but I'm researching it. This is good news for anyone who thought that you would have to give over your phone to the "i geeks". Sometimes they do more damage than good. AND they're always telling customers that they can't fix stuff but then, who is repairing those refurbished Apple phones?? A mystery...............????????????????? Happy Soldering!!!!
Great video Alex..Your are A superb technician and best of all your a very humble down to earth human being... Keep up the great work.. I also wish I had a big boss to help with my everyday activities... My kids are getting older and from the looks of it my son may follow my path and become a technician ( hopefully fingers crossed )... Love the channel.. Many thanks..
Alex the truck / train in the background 11:50 is part of the boot sound of the macbook?😆 Good timing At least it's better than Asus ROG, the sound of a sword popping my heart all the time at 100%
I wish I had a big boss like that, but I think when its time to add my first employee I may be looking for someone with advanced social media skills so I can do something similar. all the mail in jobs Alex gets are from his enormously popular RUclips videos. at least seems that way!
great fix "that was easy lol :p" for you anyways im suppprised that the other chip near by was not danaged also love your channel and your work top notch stuff thanks for sharing you welth of knowledge.
If the other shop is in your area, why go there first? I guess the customer doesn't watch your videos and the other shop does. Smart shop. Knows their limitations.
I still do not understand how liquid damage can happen so often. Just like broken phone screens. People really do not take care of their devices. I have no phone protection, it's the bear phone, never broke it in years. Lately I was drinking ice tea while repairing a laptop, I did not spill it on the motherboard. In fact I never liquid damaged anything!

They probably didn't charge the customer as they couldn't fix it, hence, why clean it?

How much does a repair like this cost?
How can I learn your job?
WE LOVE BIG BOSS
How much would you charge for a repair like that? I own a repair shop in Bucharest, just wondening.
He mentioned it once and if I remember it's a flat rate of around $200 or so.
@@stt9895 That’s great. That’s about what we would charge for this repair aswell.
