Hi, I'm Keith Mazza, also known as Sifu Keith, and I'm excited to share another empowering technique from our White Tiger series with you today.
In this video, we delve into the intricacies of the third burning palm technique from the Tibetan Llama Pai system. The Tibetan Llama Pai Burning Palm Three begins with a sequence of three breaths, each vital for centering your energy and focus. Your breathing pattern consists of inhalations and exhalations at 40%, 80%, 30%, and 20% capacity. Once you've completed this preparatory phase, beginners are encouraged to practice for three minutes, while advanced practitioners can challenge themselves with a five-minute session.
Position yourself with your right palm over the left, thumbs touching, and let's begin. Draw both hands up along the center line, extending them to eye height as you push forward. With fluidity and precision, slightly rotate to the right, then return to center before executing a full twist to the left, allowing your body to blade across.
As your right hand drops down, seamlessly transition to the left hand crossing over. Switch positions, with the right hand now on top as you sweep across. Pay close attention to the coordination of your waist and hips, ensuring optimal alignment and power generation. If your palm strikes the kidney, perform two strikes on the left side before switching to three strikes on the right.
With focused intent, execute five palm strikes ahead, harnessing the energy within and projecting it outward with each movement. Conclude the sequence by bringing the left hand back to the right, palms overlapping, before raising both hands to shoulder height and gently lowering them down.
You have the flexibility to perform this form at a slow, deliberate pace, taking five minutes to complete each repetition, or opt for continuous movement for a duration of three to five minutes. The choice is yours, allowing you to tailor the practice to your individual needs and preferences.
Let's review the sequence once more: draw arms up, push forward, turn right, center, full twist left, left over right, right over left, palm strikes, and conclude with a graceful lowering of the hands.
This is the essence of the Tibetan Llama Pai Burning Palm Three-a harmonious blend of strength, focus, and energy cultivation.
