  • Hello Beautiful People 💕
    #protectivehairstyle #howto #twists
    Thank you for coming to my channel 😊 I hope you enjoyed my video!
    First Video: How to twist your hair as a protective style: x • How To Twists Natural ...
    The reason this is a protective style:
    Protective style- The basic concept is to preserve “something valuable” i.e OUR HAIR - from damage and harm.
    Protective styling reduces ongoing manipulation of the hair, encourages growth and length retention and furthermore reduces knots and tangles.
    Protective style doesn’t require much daily upkeep or constant manipulation.
    I am able to wear my hair like this for up to two weeks without restyling/ manipulating, encouraging my hair to flourish and remain healthy.

    Jeanette, Ive notice that you have length all over your hair, even perimeter. All my life I struggles with breakage of my perimeter. My has been long and thick most of my life but still to this day my perimeter is very broken off and when I do twists, my edges and nape areas are short, sparse and don’t look right. Do you have any tips for care of your hair for edges and nape and why it’s breaking?? I have 4 type hair.

But I love to watch your videos because your hair reminds me of my grandmother's in color, density, and length (before you cut it.) • @kathleenharris8824

      Good question, because I have high porosity hair. The next day my hair can dry up. It’s challenging to keep my hair moisturized without manipulating it so much. 😩

    • @tnoah15
      @tnoah15 4 года назад

      I'm high porosity and the only thing that keeps the moisture in for days is using grease as a sealant. The layering technique has been key to retain moisture. I do a liquid leave in, creamy leave in/moisturizer and grease on top. I only do twist styles for the moment until I master WNG
