    I do not understand the forced ankle braces. Unless all of those players have weak ankles why force them to weaken their ankles unnecessarily

      There is 0-ZERO evidence or studies that show wearing ankle braces weaken ankles. There is all kinds of evidence that shows they help prevent injuries. don't believe everything you hear. Ankle braces work in helping to prevent ankle injuries and do not weaken ankles or lead to knee injuries. You spend 95% of your waking life standing, walking & running on your ankles and if you want, you can do extra exercises to help strengthen them, especially if you have had problems in the past, but wearing ankle braces a small percentage of that time does not weaken them.

      @@mikemcgeath3095 from my personal life I have found that ankle braces drastically reduce my speed in track. I know this is volleyball we are talking about, but the carryover is still there

      This dude ain’t never played sports, it’s called preventive maintenance. The old schoolers waited until they got hurt to brace up, why not get ahead
