I've been watching and listening to Cranius (my dad) make WoW music since the very beginning with Big Blue Dress in 2006. I've played a minor role in a couple of his earlier videos like making occasional lyrical suggestions or appearing as an extra in a few scenes (Tren, my dwarf hunter from this video, can be seen all the way back in "Beer For My Horses"). This video is special to me. For me, it isn't just fun to watch and listen to, it's also a nostalgiac reminder of the good times I had playing WoW with my family. I had such a blast working with Cranius and Legs the last couple months, and I am thankful for those of you who are still here to enjoy their content year after year. Hoping you all have a great holiday, gamers!

My dad introduced me to these videos in 2007 and it carries a similar level of nostalgia to me. Beer For My Horses was actually the video that got me to create a Human character for the first time, having only played my Night Elf Hunter until then. Imagine starting to play a bit of WoW for the first time in a decade and this legend comes back a few days later. I'll take it as a sign cause after a decade of grind and work I really need to unwind a bit in the place I used to call my second home
@@LardAss420 The problem with classic WOW is that it's a solved game. Discovery is dead. Even if you don't remember the META and ignore all the information available, you will get left behind. You will be under geared and unable to enter endgame content. The community expects you to use guides or know everything.
Brain at 7am, "Wait, Cranius? The Darrowshire guy? How long has it...OMG, five years?" And this is why it pays to "ring that bell" even if your favorite content creator hasn't done anything in awhile.
To say you've been missed is an understatement. Your songs always hit the right spots between having a story to tell and a great piece of cinematography. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Played WOW on some so called "best wow servers" which had huge populations of up to thousands of active players at a time. Servers either got shut down or my characters got deleted for inactivity. The GS requirements for raids are absolutely insane making these servers p2w. No full ICC gear, can't join ICC. WOW is a dead game. Only the memories are left. Guild Wars 2 is very good. Almost 2k played hours since 2013. My gear is still BIS due to horizontal progression, never had any character deleted for inactivity. Least toxic (basically 0 toxicity) and most friendly community I have ever seen in any online game.
@@Blitzkrieg1605 I actually had good experiences with private servers but im not that big into MMOs anymore. There is a WOTLK German one called Rising Gods, got my chars there since god knows how many years and nothing ever got deleted. Also that sounds crazy - are you sure they were blizzlike servers? cause thats what you should aim for cuz thats unmodified vanilla gameplay. Good to know about GW2, I tried to get into FF14 but was too annoyed to continue cause their antialising is the worst thing I've ever seen.

You've not lost your touch when it comes to highlighting areas and storylines in the Warcraft world people wouldn't put much thought into. Watching this makes ya wonder how many other places suffered the loss of their home and what it's become years later in their world. Thanks for releasing a great song and welcome back. :)
I think about it a lot. The Culling of Stratholm really puts things in perspective for me. I really want them to bust out with WoW 2. And this time we get the play the story from the beginning Humans living before the plague in a world where undead are yet to exist. And then as the plague spreads across the world we get to witness the loss of entires cities and the rise of the undead. That's be fun :)
Last week I was in darrowshire and decided to put on your song from there. I ended up looking back over favourites, and suddenly a song I had never heard came on. Since then I've gone through every song of yours and I have to say, from a non-nostalgic view point, this is my favourite. Here's to hoping you make some more!

Surprised (and delighted!) to see this. I guess YT recommended it because I just shared Happy Place on a forum a couple days ago. It was actually the forums for the revived City of Heroes MMO. We were discussing the appropriateness of the various "class" names in the game, and somebody asked, "Wouldn't a Stalker be somebody who enjoyed picking flowers?" Since the CoH "stalker" is roughly equivalent to WoW's "rogue", I thought that line was the perfect lead-in to "Happy Place" :)
I absolutely love Darrowshire and listen to it quite alot and seeing this new piece come out is awesome! I'm a huge fan of the Cranius lore of him knowing Joseph Redpath and fighting along side him but went different ways to flee from Brill to return to their lives. Amazing video and glad to see some more content from you!

SO happy to see this!! Cranius, Selerene, Nyhm and Baron Soosdon were the creators that inspired me to make wow music video content on my own channel. This is such a welcome surprise so many of your songs have always been on my playlist and I would always check to see if there was ever anything new. Caught a post on Sharm's discord about this and I had to come see and I am definitely not disappointed. And now I watched it, and again...and again. Oh wow, this was awesome. Definitely up there with Darrowshire and Wrought. The story telling is great, my many thanks to all involved for a great piece of work. Absolutely amazing seeing content from Cranius again. I remember him streaming WoW Classic some years ago on Twitch, he was casually levelling and explaining how and where they recorded certain videos, loved the details hearing from him about cpt. Placeholder video.

Cranius with "only" 44K Subscribers is severaly underrated, for me his Big Blue Dress Song stood the test of time along other great, timeless pieces of music!

It’s always nice to hear your voice. I haven’t played WoW in a few years; however, I have fond memories of questing in Brill with friends and listening to your music.
SO happy to see this!! Cranius, Selerene, Nyhm and Baron Soosdon were the creators that inspired me to make wow music video content on my own channel. I'll never be as good as this, but I had a blast making vids, and still come back from time to time for pure nostalgic joy. I even made my belf lock main exactly like Legs, because I admire her so much.
Just opened Spotify and saw that you've released a new song. To say that I've been excited would be an understatement! This is incredible as always, welcome back cranius! I've missed you even tho I've only started my journey in WoW a couple years ago shortly after the release of classic wow.
Like so many people, I first heard of Cranius around the time that Big Blue Dress was created. It's still a song I occasionally listen to even though I last played WoW in 2015. I'm glad to see (and hear) you making Warcraft songs and videos again, Cranius! Having your family involved in them simply makes the songs that much better.
This has just resurfaced some amazing old memories. I went on the channel and saw "My main" and "Blue dress" posted 13 years ago... oohh man 🥺

Welcome back Cranius! The video and the music are as beautiful as ever. I've loved the story, the characters, loved the Pamela cameo, and also the ending was beautiful, with you and your wife coming back to Brill years later :)
This is such a welcome surprise so many of your songs have always been on my playlist and I would always check to see if there was ever anything new. Caught a post on Sharm's discord about this and I had to come see and I am definitely not disappointed.
And now I watched it, and again...and again. Oh wow, this was awesome. Definitely up there with Darrowshire and Wrought. The story telling is great, my many thanks to all involved for a great piece of work. It was machinima like this that brought me to WoW, and may even...nah, probably not take me back, but will definitely have me waiting in anticipation for the next Cranius release.
