You actually dont gain anymore turning radius at all but its a nice solid piece. what gives you more turning radius is your controller & servo....Ive used all these aftermarket parts this club 5 upgrade, another really nice SS servo relocation part sold on amazon. yet in the end I removed everything to cut down on the weight. with a proper controller & servo ( Im currently running a FlySky Gt5 6 Channel w/ a ProTek 370 tbl servo) I have my wheels a 1/16th off the links. I did however make my own panhard bar, its extended roughly 3/4 of inch beyond the front drivers side shock. That removes all the bump steer issues. Bump steer is nothing more than bad geometry w/the panhard bar location ... Nice vid...
I have purchased parts for all my rigs from Club 5 the guy gets right back to you if you have any issues and has a pretty good selection of parts I'm running his censored light kit and links and Servo relocation on my Scout I like it the deadloc skid plate and transfer case setup I purchased before I got my rig too and I like that a lot been really impressed with that thanks for the great content man
I'll be testing out their customer service for this steering and suspension link kit. 1st everyone is out of the servo relocation part. 2nd. Installed the steering links only to find that in order for me to use it I now have to get the 12mm hub extension because the club 5 steering links are too long and hit my tires. Sure be nice to sell all together or at least say something! 3rd. I didn't like putting on "new" plastic rod ends... the links are great but in my experience its rod ends that pop not the links themselves. Wish me luck and another solid video! Good view and well explained 👌
Stainless steel screws from Ace Hardware have ALWAYS worked for me. At .10 cents a piece, you can't go wrong. Plus they are always in stock, unlike most hobby shops. Just my experience & advice. -Paul
👌 try this one please and see if it works i have good results. Use 2 of those straight steering links and a long screw for the servo horn enough to catch both links into the servo horn. Then from there attach the links to the end link nearest to the tire. Only will work for the club 5 mount use lock tite and you will be amazed i hope i know i am.
That's definitely on my list when I get around to it. 💪 whoever left thumbs down on a helpful video like this has some personal issues they need to really get worked out.🤔
That Servo horn is about the best one for that relocation mount my 3D printed I had problems with so he sent me a metal one need to put it in still but was really impressed my problem is I have hot racing outer portal housings so the inner plastic housing just wants to bend when I turn because now it has such a good steering throw better than my SCX10 II
@@wiccanfpv Yes, if he doesn't set the endpoints of the new servo properly he will most likely ruin and destroy it within half a season (if he runs it regularly). Correctly set up servo will only allow 46-47° steering radius on this vehicle.
Okay so I have a big issue with my steering I have club5 steering links and the stock mount I have no turning so I changed the servo and now have a new problem but turning and it maxed out the suspension when I turn and very bad turning radius so I bought the relocation mount waiting for it to get here what do you think should be the problem?
Dunno what u trying to sell here.. maybe dual Rate setting on the left is at about 25% but i have the original mount plus a 20KG Servo and my steering angle is better or atleast the same as the one on the right side. I read alot about this part in some Threads too and most ppl dont see a difference neither. Besides that its a nice builded part, which looks good and probably more durable than the original mount. But like i said, steering wise, no optimation !
The steering link kit. Not needed but recommended however if you do, got to get the 12mm hub extension... why they did this idk but it hits on your tires because they are too long! Smh. Links are super heavy and strong but kinda bummed me out putting new plastic rod ends from the kit...?
My review is 5 out of 10 stars... yes it fixed the bump steering issues and turning radius was improved but this created another purchase for 12mm hub extension... and I truly believe it should have came with metal rod ends... but thats just my opinion 🤷 "nobody was asking nor does anyone give 2 shits what I think." Lol

Yes I really love this upgrade 😁👍🏻
i guess I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good website to watch new movies online?
@Jon Russell try FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
@Malcolm Titan Yup, have been watching on flixzone for months myself :D
@Malcolm Titan thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service :D I really appreciate it!!
Also good too reduce steering dual rate
Did you do a before and after turning radius to see if it actually turns sharper??
In the video I put both rig front to front and did a comparison fast forward to 11:54 and you can see
That dont mean anything seeing it turn more these portal axles cant turn that far without binding

Thanks sir 😁

Would you please give us part numbers. Would really shorten the search for us newbies!
I bought 20 kg servo s from Amazon with metal horn iget more steering than that with the arm they provide
If I put a 30kg would it be overkill? Or will brake the c hubs? I'm new to this trying to get a better steering than the stock thanks.
No way! My axe edition comes with the reefs 422. Id bet that is stronger than the Amazon/eBay 30kg servo...

Can somebody clarify what club five links are to complete that Servo relocation kit I can find the bracket but what else do I need
Technically the only thing you need is the right size servo link that’s all
