It was an honour to guide you guys around our little slice of heaven. Amazing video, so glad you guys had fun. Happy to finally see this trail on video for people to see. Can not wait till you guys come up again.
Well, I just watched an hour an a bit of a youtube video. I can honestly say, I've never done such a thing. It was your commentary and excitement of the group that kept me watching. Of all the folks I've shown Tumbler Ridge, this group was by far and away my favourite. The scenery and landscape of Tumbler Ridge is second to none but your group of friends shares a seat at the same table. Thanks for making the trek west. See you this winter. Tumbler Ridge is equally as impressive in the winter. Next summers ride is already planned and I can't wait for you to see the sights that most have never seen. All the best to you, Carrie, and the entire crew! Job well done on the video. 👌👍
Had an absolute blast with all of you while you were here. Glad you all enjoyed yourselves as much as you did. Great job on the video as it shows what a diverse trail it really is. Looking forward to next year's trip!
I love the stickers and personal notes Mrs Osta puts on the packages!! Looks like an awesome trail! Makes me wanna make the trip from Florida to give er a go
We’re doing this trail planning on spending the night at onion lake and coming out the next morning! If you want endless trails like that a lot closer to Saskatchewan come out to Outwest Campground by Rocky Mountain house. We will show you some good ones.
WOW that is God's country for sure that is what I would come to Canada for, and hunting of course, I will add that ride on my bucket list, great video brother
I watched your entire video and many others! Love the Argo. I want to say welcome to BC. Looks like you guys had alot of fun. That looks like a Narley trail. Takes a good crew to make that happen! For the beers and 420 should have been the entire way! Take care, Great video!
You guys did an awesome job highlighting this trail, been on my bucket list for a few years of trails I have to hit up here. 100% gonna have to get in there next summer
I love the onion lake trail !! The whole area actually !! We ran in to your guide scouts at onion lake beginning of Augest, during my first time experiencing this trail on my KTM 300. Look like you guys had a blast. And stoked you all got to experience the places i call my back yard !! 🤘🤘
What an epic trail! A few friends and I were in the area the weekend after you guys, been going for a few years now. Had my '83 Honda ATC200X out this go round. One day I'll do onion but probably on dirtbike. Thanks for sharing this amazing trip!
Drone footage was amazing. I rode a dirt bike through the mountains in 99. Bringing me back. Was pretty dry back then. I was surprised at the mud this time of year on your run. Pretty dry out here on the east coast until just this week. First section of your run reminds me of my trails in northern mainland nova scotia.
Man the video captures alot of the feelings and excitement we all shared that day. Not so much of the steepness of the hills. Great to see your moment on camera up on top of mountain. Mission successful I'd say. See ya for round 2
That was a pretty EPIC VIDEO....I understand alot of your vehicles but I still can't quite get my head around the 6x6, although it seemed to perform well for you....which is awesome. Anyways thanks for sharing, I have had a lot of fun with Canadian Friends in the past 20 years as I used to travel all of Canada for work. Sadly, I never handled BC.
Dallas is caught at 1:18:30 pushing a X3 with his one wheel drive Maverick sport through some nasty, greasy holes What a great video buddy loved it. Stay safe and keep the rubber on the bottom side. Oh I have an idea for a light bar build for your/ Miss’ Ostas 6x6 quad/6er hit me up if you would like to hear the idea
That lil 6x6 is sooo sweet! Can’t wait to see it on Mudlites or some Zillas. Nice and light and a little chew to them, it will be absolutely unstoppable!!
Another absolute epic vid! Things couldn't have possibly gone any better if it were done on a Hollywood set! And what incredible views those were. Mint!
Awesome vid guys. I bashed my commander into there back in 2013. The fender flares and doors were never the same. It rained the entire day, so we had no views, but it was still a blast.
Welcome to the area! Wish I’d know there was a group going out I’d have made an effort to come join up. That is my all time favourite trail I’ve ever ridden! Did it on my 03 kodiak 450 to boot 😜
That is definitely one for the record books there!! The views alone were beyond magnificent. Seems like a GREAT group to ride with. Everybody you ever ride with on these endeavors just seems like awesome people! Definitely jealous down here in Virginia. What was Jim driving? An X3 Turbo? Pulling Dallas along didn’t even look hard. At all. At the 6x6. Little thing is a TANK! As always, great coverage Osta! So glad I found this channel those years ago. I’m in for the long haul. Haha. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
I live in Montana in the north west corner Libby mt actually and the logging roads here are endless!!!I drive my machine to town to everywhere because in the summer I use that to cruise around town and everywhere else!!!!I love my machine so very much......
Back in 2012 i was prob the first guy to get through that trail with a 63 inch wide sxs. The lake was very low so we could ride to the far end of the lake on its shore. That trail has hurt many people and wrecked many machines. I call it peeling the onion
As much as I'd like to think I wanna bogg all day this kinda trail riding is what I can't wait for. Just ordered my xmr 1000 won't be in till December.. just can't wait to get out and see trails like that
Osta if you think that trail is good you have to make a trip into Redfern lake. If conditions are rough it can be a 12 hour one way ride on the quad. Not sure if the sxs's can fit over the Besa river bridge but if you want to do another epic trail you must look into Redfern lake.
in this trail on our old 2013 og maverick we destroyed the new primary clutch we put on a week before because the bolt rattled lose snd bent so we couldnt get it off without cutting the clutch right off
You haven’t tried Stave Lake loop! Haha. Mind you, it’s been several years since I last rode it. Lots of winching, five hours to ride the less than 2 km trail. Those that rode it know.
That’s me camping at the lake with my father, my buddy Robby and our old ladies. We were actually hiking up the mountain to the left when you first come to the lake when you all rode in. Heard you bunch of holligans coming in.
Looks like Bug Heaven you guys need the hat with a net so you don't get bugs in your mouth...I always keep one of them hats with a net attached they work wonderful because you can see thru screen netting!
What's a great trail out your way in Montana?? Used to riding Windrock and various other parks in TN, KY and the midwest and would love to make a trip out west!!
@@ostacruiser my father in law was back there in the 80s on three wheelers, as well as the top of the saddle (not sure if they took you guys back there or not) he has pictures
That looks like a amazing trail........ unbelievable!!!!!!! Do you think you could do it with a defender xmr or would the commander be the only choice of the two? You guys rock
@@ostacruiser so the xmr showed up, you were right. Took me awhile to figure out the modes, but after about 50 miles of ripping I think I've got it figured out. What a machine, I now understand the SxS hype.

@ostacruiser Pro Tip: Throw a zip tie on your shackle pin (and back through the shackle) to keep the pin from backing out. Been there done that.

If you’d like a tough ride. Try the canol from Macmillan pass to Norman wells.
You guys have it made in Canada. In the states that would be a protected park or something
Most of Canada is crown land that you can ride quads on.

felt the same way about sivlerton colorado. no mud though lol

Nice vid , reminds me of Humming bird trail
The old Honda little bear would give the 450 6x6 a run in the skeg. So light nothing would stop it.
Washington state has so many off-road parks and some of the best for off roading in United States
Swamp force Chew!!
