Great video thanks saving it to help with Tear down to access the TCM cover.
I did not see the removal or installation of the shirt solenoid in the video...........
Great timing! I'm starting this project today and hopefully just need to replace those pressure sensor parts. Excellent video!
Did you have to program the new module?
@CesarGarcia-uv1lt tbh, I don't exactly remember if this video was just replacing the whole tcm or just the seals. I just replaced the seals and it was good. If you change the whole tcm, it has to be programmed.
I just replaced the whole tcm.. it is still drivable so that I can drive it to the dealer to get programmed?
@@CesarGarcia-uv1lt nope. I don't think it will even engage in 1st gear.
@@CesarGarcia-uv1ltwhat did you end up having to do to get it programmed?
Did you have to program it?
Yes, it did. Thank you very much.
Great video. Thanks a lot.
Great video, very helpful
I have a P1762 transmission mode switch signal circuit, do you think replacing tcm can solve it?
Those are bolts not boats.
Will doing the valve body fix the torque converter shudder ?
Im assuming there is no way to replace the controller ‘silver square’ ?? So you don’t have to reprogram the tcm.
Did you use brake cleaner to clean the tcm and cover before replacing ?
This is why I hire shii done instead of doing it myself😂❤!!! Tky. Great video.
If you hire stuff done why are you even watching these videos?? Don’t make a lot of sense.
@@travismurphy9712for you what seems simple looks like a nightmare puzzlebox to me.
It's not that I don't enjoy the videos but I can't do it. I'm just looking for what might possibly be wrong.
❤😂 I hire shii done to reduce my personal aggravation and confusion.
That harsh forward is that like the shudder I’ve tested my moms car and I’ve put it an the selective gear it only does a shudder jerk between 2k-3k rpm in 3rd gear only I’ve been getting what fluid I can out and putting in clean fluid it will be better for a day but then it keeps getting worse till I change the fluid again
I have code P2724 - pressure control solenoid valve 5 stuck open. Is this solenoid built into the TCM? Can it be changed individually? If so, how?
no it can not be replaced individually and yes when you replace this it replaces all of the solenoids
Came here to ask this question. Mine is throwing a code for valve 2. Shame you cannot change it individually. It would save a ton of money.
What codes or symptoms did you have ? I don't know the reason you are doing this.
Geez fix that air leak. How can you stand that. When you say “tickem” I think…your referring to the TCM I’m guessing? You never mentioned anything about the solenoid or solenoids during the video. Do those get changed when you replace the “tickem?”
So no complete removal of the trans? I've taken off the cover it's a tight fit.
is this a 6T70 transmission?
How do you remove the clip holding the cpu?
12 nm, 106 inch pounds
Wheres a good reputatable place to purchase that tcm/ solenoid/ unit
you put silicone on the cover?
Do you have a part number for the new TCM? Great video!
Awesome
This is on my task for next week, my 2009 GMC Acadia has code P0989 pressure switch circuit 5. Ordered a new kit with all the tools to take out and reinstall the new diaphragms and rubber seal. So I’m noticing that there is no gasket on the TCM cover?
I have the same problem, did you manage to fix it?
**open the *FILL PLUG* first!
Never open the drain plug first! lol
transmissions have vent plugs so it really doesnt matter unless you work at a fast change where they want it done quick
What's your cashtag? You need a raise!
That fluid condition that came out of the transmission is not in great shape, yikes.
about as bad as it gets lol
I threw a P0796 and P0700. No forward No reverse...pressure solenoid "C" is this replaceable? Also do you have to program the TCM?
How the hell you get that airbox out???
I got it wedged out of the way so I could do the job, but I'm not sure it could come out. At least not without removing other stuff anyway.
Did you have to program it?
