A WB VIP tour guide was my first job when we made the big move to Burbank. It was a fun job. Wish I still had the giant binder of movie trivia and history I got from training. Glad you enjoyed it.
It genuinely seems like it would be an awesome job for a movie and television lover. I feel like if I ever had the opportunity to do that I would have a total blast every day, just getting to be around so much movie history, from films and tv shows that I love. Was it hard to get a job as a tour guide?

@@codyt821 I agree. When Josh Brolin was on Conan I think Conan mentioned the incorrect stage Goonies was filmed on… check it out if you haven’t. Also I love seeing the behind-the-scenes photos of the pirate ship. What an amazing construction and it’s insane they just discarded it from what I read!

I got to sit on the couch in the coffee shop a few times but only with the audience coordinator. I left because WB had a production assistant training program at the time and I got the gig and started working for WB Television. This brought back so many grate memories. 🙂
This guy really knows his stuff. He was pointing out sets before the tour guide. He's a huge movie fan. Really cool. Fun to watch. Years ago I did my own free WB tour. It was under construction and I had parked in wrong lot so on my way back to move my car I decided to just walk around, came really close to seeing Friends set (had my hand on that door in vid when audience starting cheering) but it had just finished taping and is a very secure set so I wasn't allowed in but the staff/security was super friendly. I also parked in S. Spielberg's parking spot on my way out for a few seconds hehe. I had a blast.
So one of my first times in LA by myself, a friend of a friend got me an audience ticket for Conan, but when I arrived it turned out I had been put on the VIP guest list so I ended up in the green room eating snacks with whoever was on that show (I think it was Katherine Heigl and Drew Brees?!). Anyway, once I got past the security booth I realised nobody was going to tell me where to go etc. so I went hunting for Stage 16 which I knew as one of the world's largest sound stages and also where they shot the T Rex scenes in Jurassic Park. Coolest place I've ever accidentally snuck into!
Adam have been watching you for years. You did a great job of filming on this WB tour. Stellar. You made the audience feel like they are there. You all ways do a good job anyways........ Michael in Texas Ya'all
I just wanted to thank you, Adam. For this amazing content. Once aware of this you'll always notice it: whenever a character is working in the barn, they are never IN the barn, they're in front of it. That's because the barn was only a few feet deep and butting right up to the border wall of the property. A bunch of foliage hides the wall. :)
I love this tour for every reason you gave! It's personal...the Tour Guide I had learned all of our names and was pointing things out specifically for each person. Pretty cool!
Hi Adam, today I happened upon your video tour of "Warner Brothers"...Early in the video you brought up the question about the "Walton's" House location...I don't know if someone, perhaps, brought it to your attention, later on, but there were 3 very distinct locations that were used time and time again, that your tram passed by and you didn't comment, on them...3 were three...1) the pond area (drained) in the "jungle" area was used as "Drucila's Pond"...directly across from the little wooden house structure you saw. 2) Your camera glossed over a little white church, with concrete stairs and railings on both sides...If you look at that church, again, and take your hand and block, from the top of the doors to the church, not including the steeple of the church, you will quickly recognize the building as the little "school" they all attended...And, all the way across the whole area from the school/church you'll see a very very big rust/orange colored building...They used that building for "BoatWright" University where John Boy attended...They used it for the hospital/school where Mary Ellen studied to be a nurse...There was one episode called, "The Deed", I believe...And on the street side passing in front of that huge building you can see an entrance with a set of steps leading up, to it...That was used for the "court house" scene that Grandpa and John, Sr. come done the steps with the "deed" to Walton's Mountain...Their truck, with Mama, Grandma and and all the kids were waiting, outside...This was the last scene of the episode...Tim:) P.S. 2 or 3 years, ago, I saw the episode with Tom Wilson...How do you know him? Or, how did you come to know him? (916) 481-9772 Sacramento, CA.
Oh wow! I was there for the 1pm tour! It’s so interesting the differences in the tours. I’m curious to go again and see different things. Some parts that you drove by, we stopped and walked. Yet other parts you stopped to walk, we just drove by. I absolutely loved the tour. So glad you and Natalie were able to see and enjoy 😊!

I wish they had tours at the CBS Radford lot. So many of my favorite shows have been filmed there. Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, Seinfeld, Just Shoot Me and so many more. How wonderful you had a chance to experience it.
This was so cool! Thank you so much for filming and sharing it. WB is at the top of my list for tour visit. I think they require an encyclopedic knowledge of film in their guides and they put a great deal of effort into preserving their history.
I would definitely do this tour when I'm visiting next. It was interesting to see where a lot of things are filmed 🎥 Adam you could work here and be amazing tour guide
We went the week before this video, and our guide talked almost ONLY about Pretty little Liars (none of us had ever heard of the show), and while we saw multiple tours out walking around various areas of the studio, we didn't ever get off the tram. Some friends we know were on a tour that left 15 minutes before us, and they didn't show up until about 20 minutes after we got to the Central Perk Cafe.
I loved this video. Thank you for showing different things around southern California area. I live in Florida and may never get out there. I am a Ravenclaw.
I love seeing all these backlot tours, seeing the inner workings. As a kid I was fortunate to see the Universal backlot in California and saw Hill valley before that big fire that destroyed much of the set.
I would definitely love to take a backlot tour of Warner Brothers and any other backlot tours available in the US. These type of videos of yours are some of my favorites! Hope to see more!
Same here ! im from the UK and would love to get over to L.A and the U.S as never been yet and do the tours ect.....Sadly as far as i know there is no mgm one (unless you count the disney mgm tour that is now defunct in one park and been re themed in another to the cars movies) Such short sitedness back in the 70s when they tore down all the mgm backlots in culver to sell the land off for mostly housing! the only lot left i think is lot 1 where the sound stages are and that is now owned by sony ! so many iconic sets lost from mgm same with a lot of props and costumes too all sold at auction even the iconic riverboat from showboat was put up for sale and i asume if it didnt sell it just got chopped up like the rest of the back lot sets! 😥 sadly the guy that bought and took over mgm Kirk Kerkorian was only interested in making money hence selling everything off ...even his original MGM Grand casino in vegas (now ballys) turned out sadly to be a death trap when fire broke out in 1980 due to all the corners cut in construction at the time 😥
Big Score Vlog. Thx for sharing a part of your day in a place I have NEVER been too before. Of course I have seen many of these sets In the shows, but to see them like this was wonderful. Thanks again.
After watching this I definitely want to try to do this one day, especially being such a big fan of Friends, Gilmore Girls, The Big Bang Theory and La La Land. I would be interested to see some stuff on more classic films too if possible. Thanks for such a great video and for always giving off such calm and positive vibes. Your videos are always one of my favorite things of any given week!!
The back lot tour at Warner Brothers is amazing. Never seen tours there. A lot of fun facts . Thank you and Natalie for doing the tour and bringing us along with you. Never would’ve seen it otherwise. Glad y’all got to see everything you wanted to. All the shows and movies that were.shot there is amazing. God bless you and Natalie. Y’all are great.
Interesting to hear that this studios also had productions from marvel, I always thought certain companies were exclusive to certain production companies like universal, paramount etc. learned a lot from this. Thanks Adam! 👍
Thank you for asking about the Waltons! It’s my mom’s favorite show. I’ve seen every episode several times. It’s sad that the house burned down. It was also used in Gilmore Girls as the Dragonfly Inn. So cool to hear and see so much history.
The General Lee was a '69 Dodge Charger. They were getting increasingly hard to come by, so they modified '68s and '70s into '69s so they wouldn't run out of cars.

HEY ATW... OBA (Officially Blown Away)! This has to be the most interesting vlog I have watched in a while! Universal is cool, but rides and tourism sometimes take away from the "Film Production" part of the property. This WB Studios Tour was top drawer! I didn't even know they offered a tour of Warner Brothers studio backlot. I have got to go to WB Studios for a intimately guided tour. WB has so much history and film value. Your documentation of this studio, plus yours and Natalie's knowledge of Warner Brothers films and series made for quite an awesome historical volume for the ATW ARCHIVAL LIBRARY! Great questions led to even more valuable information!
That's really cool of them and especially Clint for getting you guys to what you wanted to see! Loved the Mel Brooks locations! Absolutely taking the tour the next time I'm in Hollywood!
We have toured Warner Brothers for the last twenty years, with each visit seeing something different from the previous tour. If available, it is suggested to take the VIP Tour, which allows the persons to walk in and around the buildings, as we are watching here today. What a great trip from Tennessee!
I did this tour for my birthday two years ago and it was so much fun! I had been on the Ellen show previously for the 12 days of giveaways...total different feeling with it being empty! The Friends set was my favorite :)
I assume people know who Ms. del Rey is. And I assume she prefers to be known as ‘Natalie’, to separate her two worlds. So, maybe give her a bit of slack and let her be whom she want’s to be?

We went the week before this video, and our guide talked almost ONLY about Pretty little Liars (none of us had ever heard of the show), and while we saw multiple tours out walking around various areas of the studio, we didn't ever get off the tram. Some friends we know were on a tour that left 15 minutes before us, and they didn't show up until about 20 minutes after we got to the Central Perk Cafe.
Thanks for this, drove past this place many times but never visited, so nice to see it this way 👍
The second guide was a true gem, cudos to him 😎🏆
I loved this video. Thank you for showing different things around southern California area. I live in Florida and may never get out there. I am a Ravenclaw.
I was on that WB studio tour in 2015. It was a great experience. We saw Conan's studio.
I love seeing all these backlot tours, seeing the inner workings. As a kid I was fortunate to see the Universal backlot in California and saw Hill valley before that big fire that destroyed much of the set.
Thank you for taking us on the tour with you guys. And it proves that it never hurts to ask if you can see something.
😥 sadly the guy that bought and took over mgm Kirk Kerkorian was only interested in making money hence selling everything off ...even his original MGM Grand casino in vegas (now ballys) turned out sadly to be a death trap when fire broke out in 1980 due to all the corners cut in construction at the time 😥
i worked as an extra at WB a coupla times. brings back memories. so cool
Very cool
Adam, we just booked this tour for 1/7/23. Really appreciate this video and your insights.
Absolutely amazing tour thank you both for sharing your knowledge of the productions filmed at WB ❤️🇨🇦
I loved every minute of this. I love movie backlot tours!
This was amazing! Thank you, Adam.
Big Score Vlog. Thx for sharing a part of your day in a place I have NEVER been too before. Of course I have seen many of these sets In the shows, but to see them like this was wonderful.
Thanks again.
Legend has it that "The Warner Bros and The Warner Sister" are still running around The Warner Movie lot, always escaping the water tower
That was amazing. Fantastic value for the price. Thank you for taking us along x
So cool, we did that tour in February 2020, and we still met up across the street. So many cool spots there.
Finally! I was waiting for someone to do a updated studio tour video! Even better that it’s Adam! 👍🏼🤟🏼
Interesting to hear that this studios also had productions from marvel, I always thought certain companies were exclusive to certain production companies like universal, paramount etc. learned a lot from this. Thanks Adam! 👍
That was cool. Thank you Mr. Adam and Ms Natalie for the tour. Be safe and well in your adventures.
Awesome! These studio tours are always very cool! Thanks Adam! Have a great day!
Thank you for asking about the Waltons! It’s my mom’s favorite show. I’ve seen every episode several times. It’s sad that the house burned down. It was also used in Gilmore Girls as the Dragonfly Inn. So cool to hear and see so much history.
Same . It’s my moms also
Mandy, thanks for the info about the Gilmore Girls house👍😊
This is frickin brilliant. Thanks Adam. Wow.
Worked there as a tour guide in 2015...some of the most fun I've ever had at a job. I miss it. Don't miss the uniforms in the summer heat though!
Back in the early 80s delivered produce to the cominsery.the chef would send me away with the best BLT sandwich.
The parts where Adam calls the location out before the tour guide 😂❤️
Awesome vid Adam and Nat ❤️❤️...She a keeper Adam..Keep a hold of her,she's a sweetheart! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They've been filming for Dexter in my Town! We had fake snow in front of the High School for a week!
Thank you Adam this was by far my favorite video, fascinating stuff about Waltons mountain thanks for asking about it. Glad you brought Natalie along.
I been watching Adam for years! still my fav channel.
Another weekend vlog of goodness from ATW. Great to see the bubbly Natalie again....great vlog.
The General Lee was a '69 Dodge Charger. They were getting increasingly hard to come by, so they modified '68s and '70s into '69s so they wouldn't run out of cars.
I did not know that! Thanks!
They never used a 70 for the dukes of hazzard only 68 and 69 a 70 is to far off do the research
@@joepicker6554 Actually they did use some 1970 Chargers in the 2005 movie as jump cars when '68s and '69s were getting harder to find. I know none were used in the show.
I seen a virtual plethora of those chargers at universal in the 80s when I visited , B j and the bear trucks too !!
My heart dropped with the Dexter and Lost Boys scenes 💀 I was a HUGE fan of Pretty Little Liars like Natalie wished she showed what makeup she got! Loved this video🤩
Was it where he keeps Doakes locked up?
Love this vlog . I always take this tour when I visit LA along with the one at Paramount and Sony.
Great video Adam.Everytime i see the WB Tour, i think of the animation in Michael Jacksons Moonwalker video.😃👍👍✌
I love Natalie's enthusiasm! Thank you Adam for taking us along!
Natalie or Daphnie?? LOL...you never know what name he'll use.
Backlot Tour
I love this so much! It’s like riding The Great Movie Ride again!

Absolutely LOVED this video. It literally gives those of us across the country (or world) the ability to experience the tour. I would love to see more like this in the future. Maybe the Sony/Fox backlot next?
Awesome vlog.....we wemt in 2015 and loved it. Would love to go again one day. Stay safe and much love.
Awesome vlog, you had me captivated from the start to the end(Wish it didn't end).I absolutely love all things associated with Movie and Tv, props, sound stages etc. Also your knowledge was very impressive, they should hire you!!!Thank you, loved it
Natalie has such wonderful bursts of enthusiasm!
She’s cute when excited about stuff
So is Daphne Del Rey...look it up
@@averagetalent9525 Dude. Grow up.

@@averagetalent9525 It sounds like you can’t handle what real world grownups live in.
I loved every second of this video..ty Adam and Natalie for taking us with you 💗💗
0:09 you need Jack Webb saying "This...is the city, Los Angeles, California"
Yes!
I did this tour for my birthday two years ago and it was so much fun! I had been on the Ellen show previously for the 12 days of giveaways...total different feeling with it being empty! The Friends set was my favorite :)
Another visit for next years vacation. Thank you Adam. Getting excited.
I adore Natalie, such a bubbly personality.
I've gotten to feel the same way about her. Great personality and getting to be one of my favorite Adam-guests.
I real life Harley Quinn
She’s a star 🤣
I assume people know who Ms. del Rey is. And I assume she prefers to be known as ‘Natalie’, to separate her two worlds. So, maybe give her a bit of slack and let her be whom she want’s to be?
Exactly, the people with absolutely no life put it out there every time she is on. We freaking don’t care, vultures!
Love your videos but who is Natalie? It looks like Daphne from “TheDaphneShow”?? I’m new to her channel and I found your channel Adam from watching the Tim Trackers. So LOVE you and your work Adam, you help me make it through my struggles with my mental illness. You’re a very nice person and say hi to your parents for me.. they are awesome and your Mom is so pretty! Take care, stay safe and well Adam the Woo! 💕
Thank you for the vlogs . I get to see so much that I would never get to see. Huge THANK you!!!
Looks like a fun tour.Great job.
The guide was adorable. 😍
