Oh wow so Warner Bros actually had that whole block built and all the houses on it just for filming purposes ? That is so cool. Why on Earth would they want to tear it all down ? Surely they can still use it for future films. Even if it is on a different channel i almost fell over when i saw you posted a 2nd video in the same day lol. Double the pleasure !! 😎✌😎✌
If you have ever lived in California, you will know that the state has no interest in historical preservation. Big $$$ property development contracts supercede anything historical. Here in San Diego, plans are already being made to tear down and develop historical Seaport Village for more high-rise condos.
These aren’t actually real houses. But studio set houses. It lacks basic functionality like indoor plumbing and toilets. Even if you try to preserve and register it as a historical site. Who would pay for it?
This is likely why they put restrictions on the vodeographers to not publish until it was to late to save it, This could have cause worldwide uproar to preserve it and would cause a lot of legal trouble to a lot that has likely already been sold needing to cancel contract etc. (or delay project by years).
They could've made a FORTUNE turning this into a vacation destination. Just imagine how long the waiting list would be to book a week in the Christmas Vacation house, not to mention the others! Such a historical opportunity squandered.
City Code would never allow it, as the structures weren't habitable. As for saving everything, the structures were water damaged and rat infested. They weren't designed to even last this long. Thanks for the video Woo
It's so sad to see all this beautiful architecture and movie history destroyed. The set designers and builders did a great job in making the buildings look so real. Thank you Adam for documenting this ranch.
I watched the entire video with a sick feeling in my stomach. I’m so glad that you guys got to tour it and that you appreciated the hell out of it. I would have been walking around bawling. ❤️
I think that would have been a great idea! They could have but they probably didn't want to go to all the trouble BUT I would have loved a piece of The Partridge Family garage!! And it would've been cool if they sold it and donated the money to.....what's that organization that helps support elderly actors? That would've been nice
I'm in. I'd buy Sam's front door or the cool trim off the back of her garage. This comes from someone that flew home with a brick from Lucille Ball's home (driveway) and 1 green shutter.
It’s crazy, to some people this video just shows a bunch of abandoned houses, to others it’s memories of hundreds or thousands of movies. Great upload Adam, love the work.
Thanks Adam. As a boomer I remember many old TV shows from the fifties and sixties shot on this ranch. At some point this was the old Columbia lot and I think Sony bought it and now Warner Brothers. TV shows included Bewitched, Father Knows Best, I Dream of Jeannie, The Donna Reed Show, Gidget, Hazel and Dennis the Menace. The Three Stooges filmed exteriors there all the way back to the thirties. Also, The Fuller Brush Man and The Fuller Brush Girl used that lot. Fascinating!
Correct. Columbia and Warner Brothers merged in the early 70s and became Burbank Studios then Columbia decided to separate Warner got to keep the Columbia Ranch.
What a beautiful and perfect community they constructed! Gorgeous landscaping, wide streets with beautiful lawns. So grateful for the tour. Now we have the memories. 😢
I have often walked these neighborhoods because I have been an employee of Warner Brothers for years and used to work on the ranch lot in one of the office buildings. I even got to stand in the Friends fountain when it was still there. What I’d love to know is what’s happening to all the beautiful woodwork, doors, windows etc. I hope they would sell those for people to keep as parts of film memorabilia. I also hope most the plants and trees can be salvaged. Thank you for creating this video!!
Yes, there is a ton of reusable materials there. It's a contractors or resale shops dream land absolutely. I would like to have a few days to take a few things for memorabilia.
@@louniece1650 The land was purchased by a company called Worthe. They own many properties here in Burbank California. I am told they are going to put in a group of homes, condos, & townhomes. I know…it sucks!
I always wanted to see this ranch. Bewitched, Father Knows Best, I Dream of Jeannie. Dennis the Mennis, The Partridge Family, Hazel, Gidget list goes on and on. Glad you got to film it. Bewitched used the pool in some episodes. Home Improvements blew up Bewitched's house on one episode. You keep calling Sabrina's house But its Bewitched's house. The house by itself next to pool is from the movie Pleasantville.
The first thing that struck me is how well manicured the lawns are, I didn't see one dandelion or grabgrass, sidewalks all neatly edged and in drought stricken California only a slight yellowing on small parts of the grass, I wish I could have lived there all by myself on a movie lot.
@@Regina0964 The trees and root systems are amazing! Someone took great care to keep all maintained, and I realize they are just hollow shells to seem as if true homes, but, it still has value, in the windows, doors etc. Wow!
Warner Bros uses grey water and recycled water to keep things looking green. They have also been known to spray the lawn green. I loved working there, so sad to see it all go away.
The "Friends" fountain is iconic for another reason. Fans of "Bewitched" will remember the fountain as the center of the park in "Bewitched". Multiple episodes were filmed there. Darrin's car is found there as he contemplates Samantha's age in "Maid of Salem". Many other episodes, including "Nobody But A Frog Knows How To Live".
Adam, you should upload this video again with you doing a voice over describing what is in each shot more in depth. Showing stills from the movies/shows compared to what you filmed, talking about the history, etc.
Its being redeveloped as 16 new sound stages, Ranch Lot Studios, will probably make a lot more off renting those out for TV and film productions than selling tickets for a walk-through.
Very sad to see all of this being torn down. You all were very lucky to see all of this before it was bulldozed. The Christmas Vacation house, the buildings from The Waltons, and the Dennis the Menace house ☹️. I also recognize the Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie houses and the other shows from the 50s and 60s that I watch on reruns.
I worked in production in L.A. for 16 years, and before that delivered things for the studios for about 6 years. So I've seen about every notable location... been in every notable building, at least once. I can't under state the loss of history that's taken place in the last 35+ years, in terms of film making. The industry and the corporations that own it now, have zero respect for film making history. None. It always amazes me how you can find a handful of volunteers in some little town, who make more effort to preserve history... than an industry that's made trillions of dollars.
Tell them then please to have an older exec make a film of walking thru and describing every show that was filmed there, in each house, etc. With side by side running pics. That would be awesome.
I used to live on Kenwood, just behind the Bewitched house, would always say Good Morning Sam on my way to work. Cant believe they tore it all down, so sad. They could have made bank running tours through the ranch, thank you Adam for sharing with us.
And, I agree, terribly sad and ridiculous that they tore it down. 💔 I would’ve travelled across the country to be able to tour the lot. I can’t believe it’s gone now.
Oh my gawd- This is AMAZING!!! I cannot even believe they are leveling all of those iconic houses!!! Arrrrrgggghhhh!!! This pains me so much! A HUGE thank you goes out to you Adam for recording this for us obsessed fans of those locations! The Christmas Vacation house- geez- one of the best holiday movies to watch over and over during the holidays. The pool scene- you touched the water! This is breaking my heart this is all gone now. Wow- that’s a lot. So what are they going to do with it now? Who was the gal that gave you the tour? She is a gem of info. Thanks again Adam. This is great. Going to watch this many times over.
The house you said was Sabrina TW’s house was actually the Bewitched house…would have loved to have seen that house! Also I think I remember that pool from an old Twilight zone where the children swim to some alternate reality with an old lady who takes care of neglected children. That was great. I’m so incredibly sick that it will soon be gone. Thanks for the video.
In January 2023 I went to the Oak St gate (Oak is directly behind the houses) and spoke at length to the guard who incidentally has worked there since the early 2000s. He said the homes will be preserved but the offices will come down. I don’t know if he was trying to make me feel better. I did spend some time in here a while back and was so excited to finally be inside. So they are all still there up until January 23. Something is delaying it. 33:16 I believe this house is used for meetings of various kinds. One was going when I was walking around. The back of the Lethal Weapon house is Oak St.
For me, the houses that mean the most to me are from the old shows, with my two most beloved shows being Bewitched, and Hazel. Those are the houses that I'm heartbroken to know they're being demolished. I wish I could have something, a window pane, or a brick, from the Bewitched house.
I feel the exact same way, Kelly! While I’m very thankful to have this video, I’m so devastated they tore all this down. Bewitched was and still is my favorite show. I just can’t believe the Stephens’s “home” is no longer standing. 💔
28:43 In Christmas Vacation the pool wasn't actually in the back yard, he was just imagining what it would look like once he got his bonus check but instead he got enrolled in the jelly of the month club which is the gift that keeps on giving the whole year. That it is Eddie.
My dad worked there as a set painter during the 60's, 70's and part of the 80's and my sister and I got to go swimming in that pool. To us it was just dad's work, but now I am totally in awe of it all. So so sad to here this has now gone.
Imagine being able to say you have been in Clark Griswold house, that better than any ride in a theme park. I’d loved to have seen it and also walk on that BTTF town square in the other lot you can get close to on a tour. The BTTF town square is a bucket list for me. Whoever cleared this visit for you - thank you brilliant letting Adam and co in.
The unforgettable and countless wonderful memories created on this lot are pure magic. Unimaginable to think that it has all been leveled to the ground! :( Thank you so much for documenting all of this!!!
Adam, this was awesome! But I really, really, really wanted you to show the Bewitched house more! You kept getting SOOO close to it, lol! Thanks for sharing this with us!
Can't express how cool this is, and how you got to go inside these prop homes, where famous films were actually filmed. So glad you went inside, so the rest of us could actually see, from begging to end going through each one. Something the rest of us most likely will never have the chance to do in person. Such a shame they are going to tear all of this down. You would think they wouldn't because of future projects. But who know the minds of the movie execs. But thank you for posting this again! Love the nostalga!
That same house you were talking about that was from "Lethal Weapon" is also the house they used for the T.V. shows "Hazel" and "Gidgit" with Sally Fields. A shame they've torn it all down. Incredible history of American television and movies on that lot!
Absolutely wonderful and I almost did cry because it was like reliving my childhood, pre teen years, high school years all over again, Thankyou so much Adam, You are the best,
Adam and friends, very happy you got to film this for posterity. It's a beautiful place. I hope they kept all the beautiful trees. Also that someone bought the houses and moved them. Looking at them it would not be difficult to do. Sometimes I don't understand corporations. Many people would have loved to tour this place. The Walton's was one of my favorites. The Christmas vacation movie. Thanks.
Hi Adam. I've been to the real Walton house at Paramount Studios in 1978. I loved going there. It was first filming a USO Special. We visited the set of the Dukes if Hazard, Fantasy Island, the commissary when all the actors would go for lunch( I saw the guy who played the Indian from One Flew aiver the Cookoos Nest, Jimmy Mcnichol, Ralph Waite. Stood next to the General Lee, met and talked with Ricardo Montelban, Audrey Landers, Herve Villachase, saw Jon Schneider and Catherine Bach. Great experience.
@@therealwilfreddierkes9980 Chief was played by actor Will Sampson. Will Sampson died in 1987 at age 53, so it would have been impossible for him to have been in an episode of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia."
This was absolutely amazing! I cannot thank you enough for sharing! Always was a dream of mine to walk around that lot and stand in the Griswold front yard. So grateful for your nerdness Adam! One of your best ever.
I have a personal memory attached to pretty much every frame of this. The last 30 times I visited the ranch was to pull set dressing from the many out buildings (all part of the Main Lot Property Dept). Within the first :30 seconds of the tour, I dressed Halloween skeletons in all the front yards of those facades and we wrapped the night doing night shots in the pool. Pretty Little Liars Season 3. 2012. My overall attitude toward Hollywood is bitter sweet. There’s a lot of evil manifest “above the line” and a lot of almost slave-like sacrifice below the line. Gave that damned industry 16 years of my life. I said it then and I will say it now: you can love TV and film but it will NEVER love you back. -Jon Robberson
Glad you guys got to film this! Amazing to see where so many of our cherished movies and shows were filmed. And you’re right. Very rare to find any behind the scenes video from here. To my knowledge there were no public tours there. So cast, crew and employees were the only people permitted on property and under strict non-disclosure agreements. So they couldn’t film or share video or pictures from here. This is very special. Sadly another Hollywood gem to the landfill forever. A la MGM, and parts of Universal backlot.
The large house diagonally across from the Christmas Vacation house that had the large front and back porches on it near the pool was used in the movie “Project X.” All the cars were parked on the street for the party when the cops came. They also used the pool for some of the party scenes too.
Hi Adam. Watching from 🇬🇧♥️. This is a tragedy. I recognise SO many of these buildings! They are bulldozing our childhoods 😞😞. Thank you for documenting this piece of history xx
I worked at the Ranch from 2001-2006 when I was working for The WB TV Network as an editor in the promotions department. Worked in a building behind the Omega Man building that's no longer there. Lots of so many wonderful memories there. Remember seeing so many movie and shows shot there. So sad to hear they're bulldozing it all to the ground. Thanks for recording this for us who worked there and have great memories there.
The house at 4:18 was also used in Christmas Vacation. When Clark is trapped in the attic and is watching old home movies, that's the house you see Clark's mother and Clark as a young boy come out of.
Adam, I can't thank you enough for taking me to the movie homes. Homes that I would never thought that I would ever get to see. My favorites are the Lethal Weapon and Christmas Vacation homes and the swimming pool.
I was hoping to see the original Bewitched house. It was next to Lethal Weapon house, the one with the blue trim. It was amazing what you did show and such a shame its no more. Thank you for giving us the tour!
Wow just wow. Thank you for uploading this. Hard to believe they will rip it all down but glad someone got to spread it around the world before it's gone.
And it might be safe to say that you all are the last to film on Warned Bros. Ranch. Yall closed the backlot down! Good job! And this hits me in the 80s movie core!
I love this video great post! I am a newly motion picture grip I've only been doing it since 2016. One of my very first gigs was working at the Warner Ranch in the exact locations that you were at. I'm surprised you guys didn't go unground by the swimming pool to see the room that they built at the end of the swimming pool so they could shoot underwater scenes. Even though I'm claustrophobic I went down there, it's pretty freaking cool! Love your channel as well as the guys in your crew!
This is according the LA Times “The studio will be remade with 926,000 square feet of new construction, including 16 soundstages with connected production support space, a 320,000-square-foot office complex, a commissary, a parking garage and a dedicated set- and prop-building space (known as a mill in industry jargon).”
Wouldn't you think they could sell pieces from the homes, like windows and doors.. blows my mind that they are bulldozer it all down like nothing, wished i had money to buy it all and save them all..
That was such a cool video! As far as the Christmas Vacation interiors, I watched some of the Christmas Vacation interior scenes side by side against your video of the home interiors and I actually think that a good portion was indeed filmed inside that house. And upon review, although I recall the Griswold house looking large in the movie (as a kid), it doesn't seem all that large now. I'm guessing that the bedroom scenes were soundstage and also the scene where he unleashes the Christmas tree. After that scene the tree is much smaller and could definitely have been in that alcove that you filmed. In the movie, there was also a wall separating the living room from that room with the fish tank where the grandfather is reading to Cousin Eddie's daughter. On the other side, there is a wall separating the dining room from I guess what would have been the kitchen. Great video! You guys are lucky that you got to walk around in there. I've done the Warner Brothers studio tour twice now, but I think most of the time we had to stay inside the trolley thing and weren't able to go exploring like you guys did.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tour. Your and the others dialogue is perfect! Breaks my heart it’s gone. At least we have your video to remember. 💖💖💖💖💖
You guys are younger than I am so you associated some of the homes with different shows than I did. The Lethal Weapon house you pointed out was also the location for Hazel's house and Gidget's house although the facade has changed somewhat. It stood right next door to the Bewitched home. Also in that same neighborhood is the house of the Patridge Family, Dennis the Menance and the homes of Father Knows Best, Mr. Wilson (from Dennis the Menace) and the I Dream of Jeannie all shared the same house. Again, the facade has changed on a lot of these. The Monkees filmed some scenes where that pool is located. There used to be a big fountain there and it was also used in the opening credits of the Friends TV show.
Thank you!! I kept waiting to hear what you just mentioned. I don’t think people realize the deep history of this back lot and how much of our television past we are losing. Makes me sick
I never knew that Screen Gems/Columbia Television used the Warner Lot. I thought Columbia had their own lot. You could always see Darrin and Samantha's house from Major Nelson's and Jeannie's. The Park area was used constantly in the first season of the Monkees. Any Screen Gems TV show on Antenna TV from the '50s and 60's used the Warner Backlot. Father Knows Best, The Donna Reed Show, Dennis the Menace, Hazel, Gidget, The Flying Nun, Here Come the Brides, and The Partridge Family.
iIt was actually the columbia pictures back lot before it became the warner ranch , after they moved the studio to save money in the 70 s colunbia picture moved from sunset & gower to warner bros and they called it the Burbank studios , after columbia was bought by sony they moved into the old MGm studios. the lot became surplus for property for Columbia/ sony pictures so they sold it Warner Brothers thats how it became known as the Warner ranch
I remember watching several episodes of the Monkees where they were stuck in a ghost town, in Mexico, and at Mike's aunt's ranch, and I noticed some of the buildings that were also used in some of the Three Stooges shorts. The Three Stooges filmed many of their shorts at Columbia, especially at the ranch up until Columbia phased out its film shorts, then television kept them in the public eye for decades. It's sad they are being demolished, a part of the film and early TV history is being forgotten in the name of corporate greed.
Wow, freaking cool and somewhat very sad. All those years of shows and films. I know many are only the facade so to speak, but all that production, learning of the lines, the dozens of takes...... to capture a 30 minute show or a 2 hour film.... amazing history and I am so happy you got to go and film this before they start the demo process..... This could be, for a film and TV lover... one of the best things you have uploaded.... if only for the prosperity side of it... amazing job Adam, and I am so pleased Scott got to go with you too.....
Great video, and congratulations on being able to visit and document a location that meant so much to you. The joy you were experiencing was evident throughout the whole video.
So sad, all that physical history will be lost, only to live on film and video. Thank you for the tour Adam. Going there was a bucket list item of mine before they removed the Friends fountain. Never got a chance to be physically there, thanks for letting me live it through your lens my friend
Wow - not surprised by this given the craziness around production facilities in LA, but it is still surprising they didn't consider moving some of these facades/sets to another location just to preserve a few of them (similar to the fountain). I really regret not taking a few days around LA over the years to see some of these sets... thanks for sharing Adam; a little sad over this one.
Theres a couple more houses one is from the happy days and another from that's 70s show it's sad that the past of old movies are getting removed forever.
The yards have been well kept. I imagine they paid a lot to keep them up. You would think this could have been a tourist attraction. Excellent video. Thanks Adam!
Tourist Attraction is Right...& What an Amazing one it Could have been...would have brought people from around the Globe...even the Occasional Sentimental Terrorist 🤨....🤗
It was on the Warner Bros. studio tour. I live two blocks from here and it really sucks because of the history the place had. Shame but doesnt surprise me at all. The film biz is out of control since cov19 happened it pretty much destroyed production.
What making memories! Th first thing I remember shooting there was Fantasy Island where they had recreated the iconic LA Arboretum set. The had a dock and the sea plane but no water. They framed it so perfectly that you would see people getting out of the plane and onto the dock with out realizing it was just sitting ion the ground. Thanks for another great video!
Wow, I could think of salvage, salvage, salvage! Save those windows! Save that garage door, etc. Blown away! Heart sinks. History, gone in a blink of an eye. Just to save a banister, or steps! A brick even, to reuse! Oh, so sad, that it will be gone. All the Tiny Homes that could be made from them? I'm almost at a loss for words. Thanks for making this video! You've left your footprints, is the time and space! If only they could lift each and auction off? Those railings! A light, a doorknob, save something!
I got to visit this place when I was a little kid in the early 70’s. The Partridge Family bus was there in front of the home. And of course the Gidget house next door to the Bewitched home. And there was McDonald’s just to the left of the guard post where they used to film the McDonald’s commercials.
Sabrina's house was also the Bewitched house, fun to see the Partridge Family house up close. I was in LA in 2013 and there wasn't a tour here, it was very disappointing. We did tour WB's studio, that was an incredible day.
The house on the corner (5:35) with the blue shutters was the Steven's home from Bewitched in the 1960's. I loved the look of the home and the set used for the inside.
Adam, I love your reaction, you are like a little kid in a candy store! Sad to know that its gone, but the memories will live on! Good job as always Adam!
Thank you for the video. 🥰 this has definitely been on my bucket list as well. I'm so happy you were able to show us up close. I can't imagine the excitement you were feeling that day.
When I was a kid in the early 1970s, my family and I had attended an event that allowed the public to meet various television stars whose shows were filmed at the Warner Ranch. We saw Elizabeth Montgomery, Doris Day, Dick Gautier and several other stars. It's strange that I still remember that event. I don't understand why Warner Brothers is giving up this real estate. They could have used it for another backlot tour. What a waste! I think Warner Bros. will regret this decision in the future, just as MGM and 20th Century Fox did for similar decisions in the past.
@@eurofritz4617 Some one who works there presently said........The land was purchased by a company called Worthe. They own many properties here in Burbank California. I am told they are going to put in a group of homes, condos, & townhomes. I know…it sucks!

Warners will probably incorporate them into those idiotic tours they’re currently running on the big lot.
@@dustyp1233 That is wrong. They are building a huge studio development with 16 sound stages, commissary, huge office building, parking garage etc. Look it up and read the newspaper articles about it.
Aww, this was super interesting, and we needed you to capture something that I think no one else has bothered to do, record the ranch, but I wish you had gone with an older person, someone who could have talked about the houses when they were the houses of Bewitched, Hazel, Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, etc., from the 50's and 60's.
Great to see, yet sad to see. One correction. The house where Darren and Samantha Stephens lived on Bewitched is referred to in the video as the Sabrina house. The character Samantha had a cousin, Serena, so I think that is getting confused. That façade was used not only for Bewitched but for the TV show Gidget, as well as being the house where the Bellows lived on I Dream of Jeannie. It was also used for a Jerry Lewis film, and the movie Brian’s Song. In all of those instances, the same interior soundstage set was used, with minor modifications. It’s my understanding that the studio had a requirement to match the exterior with the same interior.
That's one of the most iconic houses on the lot. Also, the I Dream of Jennie house was the one he kept referring to as The Gremlins house and next to it, The Partridge Family.
I was just thinking the very same thing….. also the kitchen from Larry & Louise Tates house was used as the kitchen in I dream of Jeannie 🥰 amazing motion picture history. Super Sad 😞
Did not expect the Lethal Weapon house to have an interior, especially the ground floor matching the movie. Watching the video of the Bewitched House being demolished ripped my heart out, even though it was just a shell it is so much a part of my childhood. Hollywood is like an Etch-a-Sketch, gone in an instant no matter the history or memories involved.

I watched this channel religiously as a kid, love rediscovering it every now and then!
What's going to go on the empty lot?
Why did they destroy everything? It must be a cool place to work, Warner Brothers. 😋
Yes, there is a ton of reusable materials there. It's a contractors or resale shops dream land absolutely. I would like to have a few days to take a few things for memorabilia.

Great eye, i seen that to
@@Regina0964 The trees and root systems are amazing! Someone took great care to keep all maintained, and I realize they are just hollow shells to seem as if true homes, but, it still has value, in the windows, doors etc. Wow!
Do the houses have working plumbing like you could live in them ? Well showing the rock looking stuff is plastic proves it’s not livable!
That’s all flattened now!he said he couldn’t upload it till it was destroyed!
So glad you're documenting this. One day we can show our kids where things used to be. It's really sad.
Adam, you should upload this video again with you doing a voice over describing what is in each shot more in depth. Showing stills from the movies/shows compared to what you filmed, talking about the history, etc.
Tearing this place down is sinful and unforgivable, they could have made a lot of money letting tourist and fans go through this area.
Agreed!
Land is expensive. They are putting a billion into stages offices and parking. It is a shame.
Its being redeveloped as 16 new sound stages, Ranch Lot Studios, will probably make a lot more off renting those out for TV and film productions than selling tickets for a walk-through.

You should have taken photos and written a book!
This is so wonderful Adam. Thank you to you and Scott for capturing this. It breaks my heart that Hollywood/LA just tears down anything historical. 🙏🥰
Just spoke to a friend who currently works at Warners. She says demolition isn't expected to start until August.
That’s amazing! 💜
Very sad to know these houses are being demolished. Such wonderful movie history gone. Thank you for filming this.

Thanks.
It looks like it would have been a nice neighborhood to grow up in. Landscaping is so well kept up.
Those were definitely the stairs from Christmas Vacation!! I cant believe they're demolishing it!

This is sooo cool. I seriously hope you get to go back to see what trees were saved. Some of them are beautiful!!! Thanks for this.
Amazing! I'm glad you got the chance to film it and show it to us.
Hi Adam. Watching from 🇬🇧♥️.
This is a tragedy. I recognise SO many of these buildings!
They are bulldozing our childhoods 😞😞.

This is according the LA Times
“The studio will be remade with 926,000 square feet of new construction, including 16 soundstages with connected production support space, a 320,000-square-foot office complex, a commissary, a parking garage and a dedicated set- and prop-building space (known as a mill in industry jargon).”

Adam, glad you document your many adventures and share them on RUclips.
I noticed that too....For me the pool is where Darren through a guy in with his golf clubs....
I think it's crazy too not to preserve some of this but its commiefornia, Could not expect something rational that made sense.
Theres a couple more houses one is from the happy days and another from that's 70s show it's sad that the past of old movies are getting removed forever.
To make you feel better, it was never open to the public. It is sad to see an Era gone by.
The yards have been well kept. I imagine they paid a lot to keep them up. You would think this could have been a tourist attraction. Excellent video. Thanks Adam!

I got to visit this place when I was a little kid in the early 70’s. The Partridge Family bus was there in front of the home. And of course the Gidget house next door to the Bewitched home. And there was McDonald’s just to the left of the guard post where they used to film the McDonald’s commercials.
Thank you. I’m absolutely heartbroken over the thought of losing this priceless history… I just can’t fathom this loss
I was looking at scenes from Christmas Vacation and there is a winding staircase in the house. They still probably used a stage for some rooms though.

Yeah, and I love how they didn’t even bother to go walk over to it
Exactly, and it's not torn down yet, right?
Right, I wondered why they didn't go inside it. The bewitched house stands out the most for me. I also like Hazel's house next door too.
Super Sad 😞
That's *A LOT* of television memories going back more than 60 years.
Thanks for sharing this, what an awesome walk through! 🙂👏🏻
Did not expect the Lethal Weapon house to have an interior, especially the ground floor matching the movie. Watching the video of the Bewitched House being demolished ripped my heart out, even though it was just a shell it is so much a part of my childhood.
