this is your 1000th video! im glad you slipped in the words "erect" and "butt" within the first 10 seconds which just makes it more special and perfect for the occasion!
He also has started to sound like a one. "I feel like it's a bit obvious to go with like four. I feel like as an architect I should be pushing the limits of architecture. So I'm gonna be going a little bit, a little bit abstract on this."
You know how there are people who are very vocal about being against certain groups but turn out to be a part of them? I think RCE might be one of those people.
It seems he still hasn't gathered that the sheets don't automatically attach. You need to nail them or they just fall off. I thought that was obvious after the first video.
That first build had me thinking you've gone full architect brained, but then the bit of having to fix architect mistakes was absolutely brilliant, 1000 iq move, and I'm quite looking forward to seeing how an engineer tackles some of architecture's craziest ideas
One minute in, my first thought is that RCE is committing architecture. Two minutes in, my hypothesis is being reinforced far more than his build. Edit: And then he puts nails through the bottom of the water tank, making it not only potentially leaky but also vulnerable to rusting the nails and contaminating the water. At 6:15 he finally starts to do some engineering, much to my relief. Watching this video is like the death of 1000 cuts. 😁
0:47 - Whoa, careful Matt. Going against tried-and-true designs and instead "pushing the limits of engineering" sounds dangerously like architecture to me! 😂
you can recognize a true professional by the words they use, such as: "we'll just do a little bit of this, than go to town with the nails. yep that looks pretty good!"
Little enjiner was devastated after he was teleported in the 1500s with no house and money he had to beg after he got 999 money he rented a house on a tree that was 0.4 milimeters so he expanded it with branches coverd it with eco friendly stone. He put a bed and a furnace also a storage for his carrots and he lived a happy life in a tree
"Water weights more than tree houses" because you didn't nail the sheet supporting the barrel to the rest of the tower so it fell out of the way and the barrel smashed the tower every time until you put beams under it you architect lol.
he just hasn't figured out that sheets aren't nailed down by default yet - every single sheet he used including the potato chute were just resting in place
Day fourty eight of asking Matt to add the Second Narrows Bridge, Ironworkers Memorial to the Wheel of Bridgetune It is a cantilevered truss bridge, carrying 6 lanes of traffic from Vancouver to North Vancouver in B.C. across the second narrowing of the Burrard Inlet. It's name comes from the fact that it collapsed twice during construction, which unalived 23 people in total (Hence the name, ironworkers memorial).
After all that talk about the greatness of the triangle you decided to build a square footprint for the tower. Three legs would have turned that too into a triangle!
"Destroying the architech's vision" Since it was Matt's idea, is he talking about himself in thrid person? Is he confirming that he is an architect? I think so!
Yeah and that they are what keeps failing because he doesn't properly support them. If he had extended the sheet all the way across to all four corners of the water tower it would of distributed the weight more evenly.
Bro he over complicated the water tower so much, the problem was the sheet on top wasn’t fully supporting the barrel, so when it dropped after he clicked build it kept falling backwards causing the corner to snap
as a carpenter, watching an engineer make silly and impractical structural plans is half of my job. The other half is figuring out how to build a safe building while tricking the inspector into thinking we followed the engineer's homicidal plan.
You never fail to make me laugh! Thank you for helping to make my rough day end on a high. Also, no child should be anywhere near that treehouse...not sure the Enjenir should have gone near it, either 😂
Being a software engineer is easy. If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result, that's called an "infinite loop".
After seeing the 1st example of your "pushing engineering" on this water tower... it's no wonder you switched professions to content creation.. which it's obvious your better at. 😂
Matt, the reason you had so much trouble with the water tower was because your sheet wasn't supported on the beams. It was held up by two measly planks and not the sturdy pillars, it's no wonder it kept failing, smh.
Ah yes, the gibbet, very popular way of storing barrels lol Everyone is calling you an architect, but I know you're an engineer, because only an engineer could come up with such a convoluted and roundabout design, and only an engineer would try to cheese it into existence this hard. That build is more nail than wood.
This video has taught me that Matt is such a bad engineer that he can't even make his own designs work, no wonder he is no longer an engineer, not that I'm complaining, he is pretty entertaining to watch
"You guys can send me a drawing and I'll try to make it work" No Matt, I won't be doing that, what do I look like? A dirty, stinking architect?!? Is that what you're trying to turn us into?!? **spits angrily**
"I'm gonna make this a bit abstract" That's architect talk right there that is! The truth is out!
It's just like engineering, with extra steps
"Feels obvious to go with 4" "I want to be a little abstract" Sounds a lot like something an architect would say, not an engineer....
The more videos I see the lees I'm convinced that Matt is actually an engineer.
Years of doing architecture has erased all the engineering knowledge.
he's secretly an architect , or he worked too long for the architects, you only die or live long enough to turn into the thing you despised.
@@monad_tcp secretly? I'm more on the track that everyone knows that he is an architect except him.
lees?
His speciality is storm sewers in deserts, so...

Actually it is 13 seconds
Hello 👋
Needs to "stay up" for 6 seconds too.
@@CMDR_Hogbenhogblud is counting😂
14 seconds actually (nerdy popular girl voice)
After watching how bad he did on the first one I'm starting to think he might be an architect
He also has started to sound like a one. "I feel like it's a bit obvious to go with like four. I feel like as an architect I should be pushing the limits of architecture. So I'm gonna be going a little bit, a little bit abstract on this."
after watching him flourish the first one im sure hes an architect
You know how there are people who are very vocal about being against certain groups but turn out to be a part of them? I think RCE might be one of those people.
I am starting to see his architecture
As an architect in training, abstract is definitely an architect term
It seems he still hasn't gathered that the sheets don't automatically attach. You need to nail them or they just fall off. I thought that was obvious after the first video.
I was honestly yelling this at my screen the whole time😂
@@grimreapurr662 It's because he's actually an architect pretending to be an engineer. He shows all the signs of being an architect!
That first build had me thinking you've gone full architect brained, but then the bit of having to fix architect mistakes was absolutely brilliant, 1000 iq move, and I'm quite looking forward to seeing how an engineer tackles some of architecture's craziest ideas
that first water tower was architectured to 1000%
Can't believe I'm subscribed to an architect. A water barrel HANGING HOOK? really, Matt?
at least he ruined the illusion
RCE is using the beams like struts in KSP.

Matt has finally admitted he is an architect
Hmm, I wonder what shapes the RCE community will come up with, for Matt to build... I wonder indeed.
D? D- ? D+?
Strong ones
Video starts
RCE, showing more evidence he's an architect: "I'm gonna be going a little bit abstract on this"
1000 nails... is what RCE needs to complete a level.
Matt: I would like to make this a bit abstract.
Wouldn’t that make you an ARCHITECT!!!???
RCE: "This game makes fun of my profession!"
Also RCE: "So for my first task in this episode I'm gonna pretend to be an architect"
I hope they do 1000 DLCs for this game. It is quicky becoming my favorite behind Timberboners.
no. no DLCs. just real, full, content
"You have Piers Glumplich, he's an architect"
"It's the No ArchitectS Club. We're allowed one!"
"H'yuk!"
15:02 “a foundation or two” (proceeds to place three)
RCE at 10:25 "We learned last time- back stroke : strongest stroke."
My right hand : "Challenge accepted."
5:24
That sounds awfully personal.

That water tower was worthy of a true architect
"We need some tension."
Someone please send an architect to sit with RCE.
There were so many nailing jokes and wood jokes you could have made but still one of your best so far
i feel like rce kinda came out as an architect in this video
Me watching Matt roasting architects for the entire video, being married to one
"Water weights more than tree houses" because you didn't nail the sheet supporting the barrel to the rest of the tower so it fell out of the way and the barrel smashed the tower every time until you put beams under it you architect lol.

Wow did you overengineer the hell out of this lol. 4 corners, center pole, spokes and straight bracing, plywood across the top and nailed down, done.
9:25 the plywood wasn't putting weight on anything as it wasn't even attached in the first place
This is not engineering this is not architecture this is archineering
0:57 this is the milestone, when rce became an architect
"Send your drawings and I'll build them" sooo we become architects?
Truly, these grand works of engineering will stand the test of time!

I think so!
Would love to see you play Starfield and build your own spaceship.
It would be the strongest shape design we all know it 😅
In this peisode Matt proves he's an architect by making a water non-tower.
Watching you play this makes me think you were never really a Real Civil Enjenir.
14:42 "alr--anyways," i felt that 😂😂😂
Not sure if it's amazing or terrifying how this man overarchitectualizes everything.
Side note: Good going, Matt~ Pats for Paddy.
I wonder how much just putting some sort of guard rails on the last one woulda helped haha.
Every time Matt says "Strong enough" I think: "STEW"
Almost 20 years as an Ironworker… I now see y my prints r always fucked up and I have to do so much Feld fabrication
Anyone notice that the sheets are not automatically nailed in place?

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, SHAME

Impossible to forget the first beavles show!!!! One of the best episodes for sure
Might have better luck at these if you actually nailed in your sheets instead of letting them wonk about.

Happ 100oth vid!
Hello fellow engineers from Australia at 3:12am
A wise man from the east hey? It’s only 12:43am here!
00:06 here 1 hour ago
In the first video you completely missed them trashing architects in the story text. Thought you would have loved that.
Theory: Matt is actually using Architect behavior to hide his villain arc- he's just building a better mouse trap for James Bond
How have you gone this bad ... first timberborn and then this😂

0:55 RCE going through his architect arc right now
Can't believe I've not seen nearly 1000 of your videos !!
But the ones I have seen have been hugely entertaining. :)
nice video mate and hope to see you make them at least 1000 more
I mean, one of the best games I have seen RCE play recently, hands down
Nice to see sheds in trees being built.
Just found your conment on a Chris Turner drum video and i 100% agree it makes my brain hurt in a good way too! Haha out of nowhere.
Matt, the reason you had so much trouble with the water tower was because your sheet wasn't supported on the beams. It was held up by two measly planks and not the sturdy pillars, it's no wonder it kept failing, smh.
(also i'm not sure sheets are automatically nailed down when placed like bracers either.)

Damn, this wonky game is actually a Dark Souls from the world of engineering!
probaly the only time i've heard you discuss engeringering prperaly lmao
Did you know there's a game called 'Space Engineers'?
I think you should give it a try (it's on steam)
Quick tip, you should be putting more than one nail in the support beams. They will hold a lot better
Where's the comedy in that idea?
you are definitely an engineer i love this creative thinking
I can't wait for more of this game holy crap.
"I'm going to be going a little bit abstract on this" sounds an awful lot like architect talk.
1000 times of enginering keep the work up brotha
This video has taught me that Matt is such a bad engineer that he can't even make his own designs work, no wonder he is no longer an engineer, not that I'm complaining, he is pretty entertaining to watch
8 beams and 1 sheet was enough for the water tank
Matt you knob, nail your plywood down. Love the video RCE!
Not even a minute in and Matt went full architect
Architect exists:
Matt ,and us: SHAME ,SHAME ,SHAME
The moment when Sheldon said “Oh really?” I knew he would fail
0:49 that's an architecture thing Matt
6:47 meanwhile the dome remains immovable over on the side.
"You guys can send me a drawing and I'll try to make it work" No Matt, I won't be doing that, what do I look like? A dirty, stinking architect?!? Is that what you're trying to turn us into?!? **spits angrily**
1000!!! congrates
For the water tower, couldn't the sheet be expanded on the other axis so that it covers the corner posts?
They need to implement something that screams at you when you don't nail a sheet down XD
"Push the limits of engineering", sounds like yella bellied architecture talk to me.
You can do the water tower by literally just 3 vertical beams in a triangle shape :)
You forgot to nail the sheet
Of course it' heavy, it's _water._
Rel Cevil Enjenir
this game is pretty cool ngl
He becomes an architect on his 1000th video loll
I really felt like I was watching an architect at play in this one
