  • Building on its predecessor’s success, the new Toyota C-HR features a more striking design and more hybrid versions.
    The Toyota C-HR brought more new customers to the brand than any other model and has been a key part of the company’s success in Europe. Now there’s an all-new generation, and the ‘Compact-High Rider’ is set to launch an all-new second generation model. It will feature more in-car tech and a PHEV variant.

    When I saw the the previous version of the C-HR I thought what a great futuristic looking car. It looked like nothing else around. Now this one is even better looking and the work that must have gone into getting all those sharp and sleek line blending together must have been a job. What a great looking car. Front, sides and rear all have features of their own. I love the Black back end. The Japanese understand a thing or two when making good looking very reliable vehicles. I remember seeing an old TV program called what have the ...... ever done for us? And it would talk about a certain decade in History. Not exactly sure which Decade it was, but let's say it was called what have the 50's ever done for us? Anyway in the program, a British Engineering company marvelled at their own creation of a Drill bit as thin as a Human hair. They sent samples all over the World to show just how clever British Engineers were. After a short while, the Japanese sent the Drill bit back. The British Engineers were Baffled as to why the Japanese had sent the sample back. That was of course until they placed it under a Microscope and discovered that the Japanese had drilled a hole through the side of the British Drill Bit.

    Like the previous CHR anyone who has claustrophobia, or drivers with sub par spacial awareness should give the CHR second thoughts.
    It's great that it comes with a PHEV, better if 5 years ago. Hope they don't charge it ridiculously high for profit because of how late in the game Toyota is. Their own fault.

    • @timogronroos4642
      @timogronroos4642 Год назад +2

      I quess you don't drive one. I've had C-HR since 2019 and never had such an idea. We travel with a dog in the back seat and it's great to have less sunlight in back seat during summer months. Main focus customer is a single or couple who occasionally have somebody in the back. If you need a family car, there's better options.

    Is design unordinary? Yes, bizarre
    Is it beautiful? No
    Is it smart? No. Look at its awful drag coefficient, like a brick compared to a Tesla.
    When you make design in the detriment of the functionality, comfort and cost you will only have to loose.
