Make sure System Preferences is not running.
Terminal commads:
sudo spctl --master-disable
sudo spctl --master-enable
You can also temporarily bypass the system check by simple right click and Open.

Just a note, Apple update to Mojave since fix reset to the enabled option. I have to re-do the disable again. So glad I saved the fix and can do this every time.

@@MorgonautHackintosh Apple had an update to Mojave and the update changed my settings from "sudo spctl --master-disable" to "sudo spctl --master-enable" for unidentified developer. Now I have to repeat the disable process.

Hi Matthew, I not sticked to any brand, I just simply have now GB boards, because it just went so :) My tutorials can be applied to any successful build, no matter of mainboard brand. Just google your board and successful builds and learn from it. Each manufacturer have their own bios and features.

Thank you! I am sure Apple had their reasons for setting up this way, but it is a pain in the butt to have to override it when needed. They should have placed an option as default to avoid the hassle and piss people off.

Correct they have a reason, it's default settings are simply for newbies or ordinary users, who have no idea what Terminal is :) Power user can get rid of it with this easy fix.
