Not only do I agree with everything you've said, but I feel like trying to put them back on the map as playline dolls just wouldn't work anymore. Not when we have many advanced dolls with so much more articulation, details,and wilder designs compared to back then. Non human dolls have even become popular since Bratz's death as seen with monster high and Japanese bjd's over the years. They WERE revolutionary for when they came out,but they're now part of a bygone era. I grew up with them myself, but if I saw Jade or Chloe next to say..g3 Venus McFlytrap? Guess whose design is going to look more interesting to me now? But who knows? A few younger people might get into them for the retro appeal ,but I can only really see the former die hard fans who used to collect Bratz back in the day shelling out money for them just to see them fresh out of (or kept in) the box again.

I hope that the RH Rebrand doesn't ruin the lore of the RH Universe in any way, and I honestly love the idea of "Shadow World"! I also hope that the Shadow High characters will still appear in the show as well, because Shadow High is my comfort doll line and if the SH characters get sidelined in the show, I will be intensely disappointed! Poppy missing is also intensely disappointing.🖤💜

This is not a reboot, just a rebrand taking the series in a different, nonsensical direction. It's in the same continuity. Poppy still exists, she just hasn't gotten a doll yet. They wouldn't have Sunny mention her and draw attention if she just poured out of the blue. I still hate this though. The rebrand may be minor, but that poop gimmick really makes or brakes toy lines aiming at teens end tweens.
Yeah they are going after 3-7 age ranges because any older kids like something to look up to and dolls who are cool. That’s why all the lines are in high school.
Now that Bratz is getting a show and will have a modern doll line next year along with LOL Surprise still being produced, MGAs resources are maybe running thin. Target did experience a backlash this year so I'm sure MGAs toy sales were affected. All this combined with inflation still rising probably pressured RH creatives into producing cheaper dolls to compensate for the loss.

I’m really disappointed, Rainbow High was such a great doll collection, with the main six dolls it was so neat. Then even better we got other dolls in other colors but the main six colors of the rainbow. Then what was even better we got Shadow High, I feel that the first set of these dolls are real classics. I started feeling that something was going wrong when they stopped having the second outfit, and just started having cute but useless accessories that get lost all over. Rainbow High is over, the classic beautiful dolls with the amazing clothes and makeup is gone. They have turned into children’s toys now, and rightly so, toys are made for children, it’s just adults like me who really enjoyed them, I wish there could be a way to keep the adults and collectors and also children happy. I really thought the days of poopy slime was over, I always thought that was always such a gross and really dumb concept, but what do I know?
