Much love my friend from the uk, your amazing and thank you for taking the time to explain. I respect your hard work and passion you put into everything you do, keep doing what you do best 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Although I was still confused and had no idea what was going on I enjoyed the video. I only know how to spin records but definitely want to learn how to build my own system. My dad use to do clashes back in NYC a couple years after leaving JA. Definitely would love to learn how to build a machine
Thanks - I'm familiar with that power con - this was just a basic set up with the controller...thats how we normally set it up if it's not for a heavy load...thanks for the input
Couple years ago when I was in Jamaica, I build a sound and we play it almost everyday, west Kingston regent street Denham town. Those things the authorities won’t allow worst up here bro. We use to play sound for fun. Party almost every night. Right now I am afraid to build another sound up here in America because if I do I’ll be tempted to play that shit every time I come from work and the cops prolly lock me up for noise.
can anyone suggest some bassy tunes? i prefer sub bass over beats as my neighbours will be hearing and complaining lol cheers, love the passion on this channel
You cant go wrong with solid horn loaded speakers! Very old school, tried and true. I wonder why you dont see the more modern designs, like line arrays & MTM's. Sweet rig either way!
most line arrays are tiny speakers in small boxes that require a dsp to sound ok, they cant take much more either! great for mobile DJ's i guess... i always cringe when i see DJ's with them
Ashley Mx series of rack mount mixers are gems, get your hands on any model if you can, you will definitely hear the difference. I have one MX406 and one MX206 for sale, I'm located in Jamaica WI.
Nice clean setup! We had to audit all our DJ rigs and do repairs and upgrades like this. You work is very clean. The shavings scared me a little lol but it's a good setup. Good video!!
Do you have any videos showing how to tune the DBX PA 2 for a 4-way setup? That is Tweeter Horn High Mid Low Mid Bass is probably on a separate DBX PA2
@AcidSoundSystem Is that something you would share? Also, on the controller case you only have one output for the Bass, can you explain why not left and right?
Running a full range out from a booth to run to bass so you have individual control is fine and all, but unless youve summed the entire setup to mono, youre lacking half a bass signal, from the spare booth output. still sounds nice.
👌 best nice big up acid sound system
