Glad you are back! I tried growing two Basil plants last year, and they both died too, with in a month. So I'll be starting seeds in about a week or so. I also did Zinnia's last year from seed (my first time gardening), they were so pretty but died quickly due to black spot diseases. Later I found out on youtube that they are very prone to disease, so when purchasing, look for those that are disease resistant. Another youtuber on here - The Ryahlie Garden , in her video "Vegetable garden tour june 2020" at the 30 minute mark ), her Zinnai's are so healthy looking and she said she ordered her seeds from Johnnyseeds. When I checked them out they have the disease resistant ones, so I ordered some of those for this year's garden.
Hi Twyla. Thank you for the heads up on the Zinnias. I don’t believe I ordered the disease resistant seeds. I will have to treat them preventively if I can.
