How can ubtell thr difference between old and new seed pods??

I'm an experienced Gardener but new to petunias cuz I really never liked them all that well. Picked up about 15 half dead baskets and am reviving them. I was doing exactly the wrong thing by pulling off the blooms without the calix. But please tell me how to tell without a doubt the difference between a new Bloom and a spent bloom. I think I may have pulled off some fresh blooms😬. Also I've been told that petunias are self-cleaning. They push out the calyx when they're done blooming?

Great 👍. I was thinking about making a trellis. I had some flat long plastic materials just like your video. Your Crisscross waving technic really helped. I was thinking of connecting with nails, but I know it will come off. So I will wave it and then secure all the corners with metal wires or flat timber.

Correct me if I'm wrong anybody but this is probably the best drill for the job? The Milwaukee M18 fuel hole hawg. There are other on the market that look excellent as well. This just looks like the best M18 option.
