Jiri was the champ in another major organization which warrants a top 5 opponent on entering the UFC. He KO'd him viciously then KO'd a multiple time title contender viciously. He is on a crazy streak spanning since 2015. His was not a leapfrog at all he had a serious career before the UFC.

We never got Brock vs Fedor, Rousey vs Cyborg, and probably a list of others people could add. Doomed/cursed matchups. I'd put Khabib vs Tony on this list as an honorable mention. Top 10 fights the fans wanted to see/deserved.

Her only wins were against an undersized Danielle Taylor, a passed her prime Jessica Aguilar and a good but inconsistent Tecia Torres. the only reason she even got the shot was because everyone above her was busy or injured and UFC needed a main event for a china card

In hindsight Weili shouldn't have been fighting for the belt when she did. Her only wins were against an undersized Danielle Taylor, a passed her prime Jessica Aguilar and a good but inconsistent Tecia Torres. the only reason she even got the shot was because everyone above her was busy or injured and UFC needed a main event for a china card

@@rjamesyork for sure, that's still one of the most shocking fights ever. And I was a big Cody fan at the time, I'm like I dunno, I think he has a shot in this fight, he's immensely talented. But I still thought Dom would probably win, my view was that Dom would win, but Cody would learn a lot from it and get the title somewhere down the road. I was floored that he just straight up dominated Dom like that, it was crazy, you had to kinda rub your eyes midway through like "am I really seeing this?"
Her initial title wins at the time seemed like it was the right thing to do until she lost to Rose.
