Gonna be 100% I’m unsubbing. Promoting another unfinished game full of microtransactions and a raid sponsor in the same video? I know you want to make money but it hurts to see you slip this low.
Beta Tester from the First Descendant Here. Here are some tips for you new players so that you guys can get on the best possible foot when proceeding with mid, late and end-game content. 1) Do not stress over particular weapons, reactors, and slots early on, as you will eventually be able to grind for those at the max cap (after the Hanged Man boss fight, that is). Instead, worry more about upgrading your mods so that you're able to build up your damage, survive, etc... 2) Adding to Modding portion of the video at 3:44. In this game, its multiplicative of your base attack of weapons, rather than your DPS. As pointed out by Fallout, certain mods will directly increase your overall DPS, but the caveat is it does not change your attack stat, (which is the important bit). Make sure you're looking specifically at the stats itself by pressing the prompt at the bottom left, which will show a chart of your current stats. If you've played Warframe and understand their modding system, it's really similar to that (only in this case, base damage increase is actually useful depending on what you're trying to do). Prioritize the stat bumps of weapons and focus around playing with those stats (IE: If you have a weapon with high crit chance, mod for Crit Chance, Damage, and Weakpoint Damage where able. If its a status weapon, throw on your status effects and fire rate buffs. If it's a hybrid, build around either or both if you can fit it) 3) HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU ALWAYS HAVE SOMETHING BEING BUILT AT ANAIS. You should at the very least have the upgrade materials being crafted and ready to go when you come back, as they fill in during the times that you're playing the game and not being in the central hub. Having the materials ready to go will help not only in upgrading weapons and changing their stats via readjustments, but it also allows you to have something being worked on while you play. 4) DO NOT dismiss the lab for dps testing. In a similar fashion to the simulacrum in Warframe, you can use the lab in the First Descendant to test for weapon damage overall and build craft. I highly recommend that you do this once you've found yourself at a spot where your damage is beginning to fall off, and begin looking into what needs to be changed so you can get over that hurdle. 5) Please, Please PLEASE look into resistance mods (*cough cough* bunny mains *cough cough*). They will be what saves your ass most of the time when you're playing endgame content. Take it from the guy who is currently working on Hard Mode Dead Bride. Those Resistances, coupled with the Maximize Resist mods, plus the polygenic mods will keep you alive. HP, Shields, and Defense play a role in that as well (all of which cycles back to number 2). You will do your DPS, more times than not, via the weapon and weapon modding system. You, on the other hand, need to prioritize staying alive, and thats where your descendant module and equipment system comes in. Edit: Adding a sixth, which is more so a precaution than an actual tip: 6) Unless you have disposable income, please do not give Nexon your money. The descendants in this game can be farmed and crafted in a very similar manner to warframe. Yes, the monetization is egregious, however, it is better to farm for the descendants rather than spending money outright because it allows the opportunity to farm for particular items such as Transcendent and Legendary mods, which you will only be able to get via farming, so why not fill that time in by also farming descendant materials? Hopefully, this is a little bit extra information that you can use in order to continue moving forward. Please don't hesitate to comment below if you have questions so that I can answer!

Also when dismantling mods you can hold shift to automatically select all duplicates. It says it on the bottom right when in the dismantling screen but a lotta people miss it
Issues with a lot of these tips here... (This video is just another example of the large amount of RUclipsrs not investigating any feature or reading into anything and just copying other peoples incorrect information, or bad advice. I would say avoid RUclips videos right now and just actually read the numbers for now.) 1. You dont have to double jump for ground slam and you don't have to hold the melee button, just tap it. (Use this to knock down shield users or stronger enemies.) 2. Do not sort by DPS, DPS numbers in this game are very deceptive. Shotguns and snipers are generally not as good as they seem despite their high dps. (Sort by level instead). [then reverse the order if you want to quickly get rid of all your low rank gear] 3. Also, equip recommended modules is a horrible noob trap. Do not do it, this recommended module feature does not take into account base weapon crit rates or anything like that. It also adds in useless mods that waste capacity and damage potential. DO NOT USE THAT FEATURE. 4. The module he showcased enhancing/leveling, increasing capacity is actually doing the opposite, it's a melee mod. Those are the only mods in the game, that actually give you more module capacity based on the level you have it at. (there is never a reason you shouldn't have one equipped, so always do that.) For the RUclipsr: Please do more research on the advice you give, you have the responsibility of these new players expecting your guide to give them the best advice and tips.
I’m a long time destiny player so the money to spend in the game doesn’t bother me as we destiny players know how bungee operates however as most of would be curious about what are the exact similarities from destiny/d2 that have been implemented in this game but in a better method or improved upon.. I feel players from games like warframe or destiny would be curious to know how the likeness of the other games compares to this n what it does better than the other 2 and what could be improved upon
Total f2p W tho, I haven’t felt the need to buy anything at all. I got 3 max 40 characters and been playing on hard mode just min/maxing and it’s been super fun.
Haha what do you mean? it was only down for one day ? That’s pretty standard in the gaming world. Most the time the Tuesday maintenance goes on for a while, nothing new. I’ve been really enjoying the game a lot with friends who can just hop in and have fun without the need for spending anything, for a free game that’s a W in my book.
Here's a mid-game tip: Reactors have an affinity to them based on their color. If you base match a Reactor to a Descendant with a certain affinity, it will boost your Skill power TREMENDOUSLY!!
Also another thing on mods, don’t ever use recommended mods. It’s trash. It just fills all the slots it can and doesn’t maximize your build. I only have about 3-5 mods for my descendants but they’re maxed out giving way more benefit than like 10% skill crit hit rate. Once you get higher mod capacity and use the catalysts to add the mods type to the socket then you’ll be trying to max out all mods. Focus on the blue ones tho first that give flat bonuses like skill dmg %. For the colossi just switch out one mod for the effective resist mod and youll be stacked for the boss fight. Over 4500 resist on the blue mods.
modding weapons for those who didnt play warframe- look at weapon details and the crit/status/weak point values. if its got 30% crit rate and 2% status apply chance, dont waste capacity with status mods. Low crit rate and status? go weakpoint and accuracy. basically just dont waste points trying to build values that are never gonna get good.
I was like, damn i gotta pay 100 bones for an ultimate? But we can earn them in game after some grinding and thats Awesome, love the Coco Cola bear backpack too haha

Also when dismantling mods you can hold shift to automatically select all duplicates. It says it on the bottom right when in the dismantling screen but a lotta people miss it
One thing I noticed while player is mastery rank only goes up when your characters lvls up
I'm willing to bet that a lot of players really don't put on the appropriate resistant module for void intercepts

Issues with a lot of these tips here...
(This video is just another example of the large amount of RUclipsrs not investigating any feature or reading into anything and just copying other peoples incorrect information, or bad advice. I would say avoid RUclips videos right now and just actually read the numbers for now.)
1. You dont have to double jump for ground slam and you don't have to hold the melee button, just tap it. (Use this to knock down shield users or stronger enemies.)
2. Do not sort by DPS, DPS numbers in this game are very deceptive. Shotguns and snipers are generally not as good as they seem despite their high dps. (Sort by level instead). [then reverse the order if you want to quickly get rid of all your low rank gear]
(there is never a reason you shouldn't have one equipped, so always do that.)
For the RUclipsr: Please do more research on the advice you give, you have the responsibility of these new players expecting your guide to give them the best advice and tips.
forgot to mention the grappling mele attack also
This game is basically Warframe and Destiny's love child. COUNT ME IN
I’m a long time destiny player so the money to spend in the game doesn’t bother me as we destiny players know how bungee operates however as most of would be curious about what are the exact similarities from destiny/d2 that have been implemented in this game but in a better method or improved upon..
Sheesh someone hasn't done anything else. It's been down half the time it's been out. Wild af people can play stuff like this
Haha what do you mean? it was only down for one day ? That’s pretty standard in the gaming world. Most the time the Tuesday maintenance goes on for a while, nothing new. I’ve been really enjoying the game a lot with friends who can just hop in and have fun without the need for spending anything, for a free game that’s a W in my book.
Oh yes brother. I also thought Exotic weapons 😂😂😂was and you say if you're a D2 player ❤❤❤❤
Another module tip is that when you upgrade ultimate modules it makes them cost less
Edit:only certain ultimate modes do this not all.
Upgrade the sub module it’ll give you more modules capacity
Here's a mid-game tip: Reactors have an affinity to them based on their color. If you base match a Reactor to a Descendant with a certain affinity, it will boost your Skill power TREMENDOUSLY!!
I don't understand the part about crafting early for end game. How do I know what I would need? I feel like I would just craft some junk
Yea..
Survivability mods are important.
Tip one: Exit game & load into D2
i finally made a ultimate weapon and its only 300 dps... broken game needs to introduce it better to new players
If you have played Warframe, Modules will be very familiar to you.
Modules are basically 1/1 just Warframe modding, if u have experience with that, it's the same
Ground Pound is only available on certain characters 😊
modding weapons for those who didnt play warframe- look at weapon details and the crit/status/weak point values. if its got 30% crit rate and 2% status apply chance, dont waste capacity with status mods. Low crit rate and status? go weakpoint and accuracy. basically just dont waste points trying to build values that are never gonna get good.
I'm FTP but only bought the battle pass. Still have not gotten my twitch drops
I was like, damn i gotta pay 100 bones for an ultimate? But we can earn them in game after some grinding and thats Awesome, love the Coco Cola bear backpack too haha
Kuiper is ponounced like this Kai-per
Even says that in the story if you payed attention
Btw I’ve spent 0$ on the game
And completed it
I melt hard mode bosses
This feels like Anthem, looks like warframe
Say module one more mfking time!!! ( Samuel L Jackson voice )
"Im gonna call them k shards"
Thing guide for kuiper. Basically a long I sound
You need make more content for this game…
my tip max out a melee mod & a HP mod;)
That is a thumbnail
Do we no get enough ads as it is man
I'm having fun with this game, but the gear system is ridiculously overcomplicated.
if you put dupes into a gun is it a boost to only that gun or to every gun from there on out?
It's pronounced Ky-per shards. I know, how did they get that from 'ui', but they say kuiper a lot in the game
basically warframe , I am new in this game , idk if the Pay to Win affect the game or not , for warframe, it is Pay to Fast ,
Are you gonna make any more TFD content? Have always liked your vids but I've lost interest in what brought me to you originally and I haven't picked up the other games you've started to cover
Ngl this game feels like Destiny 2 patrol the game
