Chris, you saved Christmas! One of my co-workers was struggling to mail merge the letters from Santa and was stuck with the second page error. Now she can get those out. You are THE man!

Great job Chris. I never got the warning box about the margins, but since there was nothing to click, I just went on to the next steps until the end and the blank page was eliminated. I used this video about two years ago, but I recently got a new computer and had to start over on a lot of things. I couldn't remember how to get rid of that extra page in Word, but I looked for your video and you came through again. Thanks again
Or with Office 365, (not sure about other versions), when you go to print, you can change the Setting from "Print All Pages" to Print Current Page (Just this page)" . You'd think that you could just tell it to print page 1, but that never works. Someone on another site said that for some reason, this envelope is actually considered page 0 -they said you could also just tell it to print page 0. I haven't checked that out, but i did try the "Print Current Page" and it worked.
@@ChrisMenardTraining It makes one wonder why the developers of such a widely used program would not have already fixed this. It would not have been difficult to have a single check box or selection to include/exclude the next page (i.e. differentiate between when you want to write a letter with an envelope vs. simply print an envelope). Frustrating laziness on their part. Thank you again!

Thanks for this Chris. I'm pretty good with Word but this eluded me before watching your video. Why do Microsoft make it so hard. There should be an 'omit second page' option in the envelope set up. Cheers!
I didn't get the error message. Went to the bottom page but my F4 did not duplicate the envelope. When I continued on, it deleted the envelope and not the page.
When I delete the section break, instead of the blank page disappearing, the envelope disappears, and the text from the envelope transfering to the blank page giving me a 8-1/2" by 11" page with my return and forwarding address on it.
Thank you for eliminating this frustration for me! I was at witt's end! Your steps were very easy to follow!
3 years later and you're still the only tutorial ANYWHERE i can find that explains how to fix this problem, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This helped when I couldn't get the fix in this video to work - the envelope formatting would be undone when going to delete the page break. Thanks!
