    What is not ever mentioned is the coasting factor on these bikes. You can tick up the dynamic and the wattage in Eco through the Bosch Flow app. It really kicks your ride up with less pedal action on even minor downgrades. Almost throttle like with small pedal kicks. Loads of fun. The Treks must have really good bearing sets for this, gives you moments of rest.

    A very practical, beautiful review. Do you still think this e-bike is a good option for this budget? I'm pretty convinced by you. Planning to buy one in Australia.
    In some parts of the video you rode dangerously fast. What is top speed you gained this bike. Thank you for such beautiful review.

    If bike companies really care about theft prevention, why do they never offer some sort of built in steering lock in the head set? This the norm in countries like Japan and help a lot to prevent ride-away thefts, and is wonderfully quick to let you stop into a convenience store without unrolling 6 feet of chain for some piece of mind!

    hi i'm mike
    was it possible to see from the bosh flow app if the mtb with the battery can do the route?
    for example a 35 km hill tour with 1400 meters of altitude difference in eco or eco + mode?
    i downloaded the app but i don't have the mtb to try the route...by setting a tour like the one written can it be done? thanks bye

      That Ramblas motor, to me, sure is noisy and whiny. And, it’s the first year of that motor. Those two things, to me, are negatives on the Ramblas side.

    Is it possible to remove a battery and charge it outside the bike>? (in order to avoid bring bike to hotel etc.).

      The battery is removable for service, but unfortunately it can't be removed for charging. The bike itself will need to be plugged in.

    Given half the planet commuting and shopping in crowded urban world of traffic... absolutely unique test completely different than most experience today .. other than the lousy crumbling biking infrastructures.. cheers .. I guess

    What happened to the brake test?

    • @ElectricBikeReport
      @ElectricBikeReport  7 месяцев назад +1

      It's problematic with eMTBs. We're working on a new way to test those on mountain bikes.

      @@ElectricBikeReport I get that braking is a different animal for eMTBs but this kind of bike is really marketed as a do all bike that many will use for commuting and general on road riding, in which case your standard braking test would be very important. I ride a Prodigy XC and your brake tests were very useful in my bike purchasing decision. So maybe have the standard test plus a trail riding braking experience as part of the the ride characteristics?
