"There's a hero in her heart if you can find her." That line hits so deeply, so powerfully. It was one of the greatest challenges along the journey, but I gave her the chance she needed time and time again. And my gods there is truly someone worth nurturing and fighting alongside inside of that soul.

Saw someone point out that from the start she intends to take you to be cleansed with her. Letting outsiders even enter the creche is taboo, let alone letting them take part in being cleansed. She does it anyway because she isn't as cruel as she lets on. It's just that the culture she grew up in punishes any sign of "weakness." Just gotta give her the opportunity to see that being kind isn't weak.
I raise my glass to this! Lae'zel became my favourite of the companions. She really caught me off-guard. She's proud, heroic, noble and unfaltering. I really love her!
I disagree. I did convince her to leave the cult, but nothing really came of it. She was kind of implicitly fighting with her former allies off-screen in the epilogue. She was more trouble than she was worth. The most I can say for her is that she isn't Shadowheart. Killed her off, and Karlach approved. Nothing more needs to be said about that joke of a party member.

‘There’s a hero in her heart if you can find her’ is such an incredible line and perfectly describes Lae’zel. She seems cold and standoffish but she has a passionate heart and can become a powerful force for good if you can encourage the light within her.
This song is absolutely amazing! The songtext is so damn good and really shows that you have a deep understanding of Lae'zel's character. Finally, some positive, accurate representation of Lae'zel, the community largely doesn't appreciate her nearly as much as she deserves.
Idk why but her and Karlach having these old west-type songs just feels right to me. Keep ‘em coming man!

When I think I started playing Baldur's Gate 3 just because of this serie of songs (At the time, there were only Karlach's and Astarion's songs) that make me want so badly to know these characters. Great job, Jonathan, your songs are just amazing.
