I know these guys were pros, played golf day in, day out, but I have always marveled at their powers of recollection. Even decades on, the can recall what club they hit, how far they hit it, how far they landed from the flag etc. etc. I struggle to recall how many shots I took on a single hole - probably because there are usually so many, but still. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but Sir Nick was class in my book.
People are born with different stuff in them. Nick had different stuff. Period.
