Great video, you are a fantastic host and I wish you God speed to all the beautiful beaches. Ah Ryan shake a leg buddy, Sophie is a catch worth enjoying every moment with. Take it from one who let too many catches get away ok.
Not so many episodes ago you were both a bit nervous and so cautious in handling your Beneteau but look at you now!! You each display such confidence and control and are so at home at the helm. You are living a dream and I am so happy for you two. Fair winds and God bless.
Thanks Rrudy! It’s true, we are starting to really feel at home handling Polar Seal. To be fair, the sailing down here is a lot easier than it was on our way through the Baltic, the North Sea and the English channel, and across Biscay. Now, we Day-coastal sail, and having a blast doing so :) /Sophie
Sophie you are just awesome! - SO entertaining and real and great the way you talk to the camera, I feel like I'm on the boat and you're talking to me, great work! love the videos, please keep them coming :)
HEAVEN SENT,a really cool couple ,the ying and yang the dolphins, sun , sand, sea what more could you want ?A lady with a flare to cook who can sail , Please clone her ,there,s a queue around the marina . Keep up the fun videos . thank you
Nice to see you put on your put on inflatable vests and harnesses. As your confidence grows you’ll relax and your fear will ease. I love the videos of the dolphins 🐬⛵️
Hi Guys. Loved the vlog. So nice to see you looking forward to your adventures and being happy. That's what it's all about. And, I love your enthusiasm. That dolphin needs some lessons! SO funny. Love life Ryan and Sophie x
Great video guys! Oh man there are soooo many other beaches out there, Sophie, I think you are going to explode from the incredible beauty. Just you wait..... Thanks for sharing.
"BEACH" is a state of mind!!! Have been on some beautiful beaches in a so-so mood and on some ragged ones to feel beatific. So the real search to have these two come together.
Fortunately, most of tourism in Spain concentrates either in the Mediterranean coast or the canary islands, leavening all the north coast to local tourism. Mountains reach the coast and food is amazing... all the way from the Basque Country to Galicia...I hope it stays that way...
There is a rocky cliff with a lighthouse on top that I visit, and the dolphins jump in and out of the waves as they break against the rocks, but experiencing them on your boat is the next level of awesome. Another great video, thanks guys👍😊
Ryan is barely excited by anything.. and when he is excited, its genuine ! lol........... at 7:20 he answers (Hunn huum) .. why does he have to be excited about food?? lol.. i barely get excited over food like my friends do too
I am new and excited catching up on S&R's adventures.I love how Sophie engages us as if we're also crew! Other channels just treat us as passive observers. This is my first comment as I am an avid watcher and had nothing to add till now: It was funny to see Sophie so excited by the beach, jumping into what looked to be frigid water, something northerners do, who see blue water while standing on warm sand and assume the water's just as warm. It was also funny to see the 2-tone Sophie, who's skin is darker from the knee down and the elbow out!! But then came Ryan, who was only one tone: ghost, wimpy-ghost as Sophie ran after him to get him wet while he was such a puss-ball, too frightened to get wet from the cold Atlantic! Love your videos! even though they're 2 years old! They remind me how things used to be and hopefully how things might be again soon! Looking forward to your Med adventures and hope they don't get ruined.
Ryan and Sophie...my first thought is those Dolphins know there are two very special people on that boat. They seems to REALLY like you! Seems you got some GOOOOOOOOOD MOJO! Super nice to see you in something besides your foul weather gear! PEACE OUT! Ü
We love wearing something else than the foul weather gear, the weather that we have down here is the most amazing I’ve experience in September! Cheers from Portugal! /Sophie
You cannot make a fair comparison until you put your anchor in front of the Anse Lazio. By then, which may take a while, you would probably have a decent sample of the most beautiful beaches in the world to conclude ;-)
Since you are heading into the Mediterranean you could visit the beach near our house called Iztuzu Beach which has been rated a 5-star beach and is the nesting ground of loggerhead turtles. All up and down the entire coast are Holiday resorts with extremely nice beaches and nearby ones that are secluded.
Thats true. This Beach is breathtaking beautiful like the whole archipelago. But If you ever could get a chance to sail down under? please take the time and visit the non tourists overgrown turf of Southwestern Australia. The Region is outstanding beautiful. close to the coastal City „Esperance“ you will find a bay called „Lucky Bay“. This Bay has scientifically proven the whitest Sandbeach of Australia and maybe of the world. The visitors at the Beach are mostly locals or Kangaroos because there is no jet servicing Airport close by.
I know one thing is that further you head for warmer weather, those bodies will change from being white to a tanned colour. Don't forget to slip slop slap that suntan lotion. I love warm weather, not fan of the cold. !!!
Don’t beat up on Ryan some of that may be the camera. But a good reminder women want to be loved and men want to be respected . Show interest in each other’s passions.
Another lovely video. Sophie looking very "Bond girl" in black at the beginning :) Dolphins were spectacular and the beach scenes were really funny. Is Sophie's sea sickness becoming less of a problem yet? Anyway, all great fun as usual, thank you.
The seasickness is getting under control. With all the learning of the past three months and doing more day-sail type of sailing, it really got a lot better! /Sophie
Ryan is so funny. His excitement is hilarious. He Might need to get a little color. I know you can do it as you are the perfect girlfriend . Can’t wait for the next video.
Hi guys, new to your channel. I follow a good few sailing channels and yours is awesome, watched as far as this one . Regarding dolphins and whales sightings maybe have a look at this guy on RUclips. His name is Patrick Laine and his video sailing solo across Bay of Biscay whale encounter,It's all in the music you play . I know I'm biased but the west coast of Scotland has some great beaches esp the isle of Harris you would think you were in the Caribbean, apart from the water temperature .😨 . I have videos of them on my channel 👍 Fair winds .
My first crossing of the gulfstream to the Bahamas was in 1979. It was a night crossing. Around 3:00 AM we were visited by a very large herd of dolphins it startled me at first because what I saw was fasferesent torpedos running fast at the boat. Once I calmed my nerves I realized there hundreds of dolphins around the boat . They stayed with us for about 1 hour then went on about their business.
As Capt. Brian on S.V. Delos says: "we've seen at least 37 of the top ten beaches in the world..." I suspect there are hundreds of "top ten" beaches. So much sand and sun, so little time.
I created a new drinking game: My opponent has to take a drink every time Sophie smiles. I have to take a drink when Ryan smiles. Typically it's not long before my opponent is passed out and I haven't had a drink. To be fair, I had one drink this time.
Your such a sweet thing, and not the worst girlfriend in the world.... you cook, you sail, and are full of life it seems. Me thinks your draining that young man of his mojo, but that is the way of life... any way the most beautiful beach I have ever been on is not there anymore. Negril Jamaica 30 years ago. Such a beautiful beach with coconut palms overhanging the waters edge, no people, clear water... sadly it is gone to development.
(Ryan) Hi Rune... great question. We do not have a water maker but we would love to have one and think it would help a lot with the logistic aspect of sailing. A few times thos year we can very low and had to get off anchor just to fill the tanks.
Might we recommend the beach at Loblolly Bay on Anegada in the BVI. When we were there it was mostly deserted; the snorkeling was great; and a lobster lunch at the Big Bamboo capped the day. From that beach, looking out, the next landfall is Spain!
UPDATE! The Islas Cias are no longer a good stopping place for yotties !! You can't just anchor at designated anchorages anymore and so must sail into bayona marina to ask for a permit to visit and to anchor at the islands. This can take several days and may not be granted at all. Whether you choose to remain at Clube de Yates or at Baiona Marina it is expensive while you wait for a pemit to come through.(probably why it takes a few days!?) If you choose to use the anchorage, expect to foul your anchor where ever you drop your hook. There are so many criss crossed jetisoned anchors and chain on that seabed. On top of that, if you do manage to anchor without incident, then you will definately be visited by Aduana in their ribs, expect 6 to 8 customs people DAILY whilst you are are at anchor and expect SEVERE boat equipment checks to be conducted with heavy fines imposed for the slightest insignificant thing. In particular, Brit registered yachts are targeted and not wanted there at all. we think because of this Brexit thing. (This includes at the marinas).
good evening Ryan and Sophie--What is it about Dolphins that bring out the little kid that lives inside all of us. What about the view while cooking. I saw the moon or it was Ryan's ass. My favorite beaches there must be a delicate balance between sand color of water, water temp, and ice cold beverages. Playa Norte on Isla Muerjeres Mx, Tulum Mx, Tamarindo, Costa Rica, and Penny's beach Nevis WI, . Playa Norte is my favorite. adios Sue
Hi Sue! I agree with all of your points as to what constitutes a great beach. I’ll make sure to rank the beaches I visit on those criteria ;) Have a great day! /Sophie
Hmmm... fairly sure I heard, "Smells horribleness." Maybe you should stop cooking for Ryan and start cooking for folks who would appreciate it more. Like us! :D
I almost feel bad about commenting on this again because noone else is. Are you sure there are no problems transferring the movie from your camera to the PC? From 2:17 to 2:28 there are 4 cuts or frames missing while the audio is perfect. Looks strange and very annoying. This is just an example. There are plenty of other examples.
That’s what I was going to say bingsterdc, if I were to keep all of what we say in those sequences, those videos would end up being an hour long :p But thanks for your honest feedback! I’ll keep it in mind for the future. /Sophie
Well, that is a perfectly good reason . However, for a better experience for the viewer I suggest you keep the uhhms and ahhs and dont cut the video several time during a scene. Many other channels handles this without no problem. I have watched all episodes of SV Delos sailing and rarely do I see this editing. Then again it is your videos and your channel
Hey Ryan, tu sait plus blanc que cas tu meurt. Vous vivez sur un voilier , c'est ok pour bronzer . Épisode mignon Sophie. J'ai adoré la musique. A la prochaine . You need some reggae to get in the mood. ruclips.net/video/wYCpWblDKok/видео.html
Hahaha! Un jour, on racontera l’histoire de Ryan au salon de l’agriculture de l’Iowa, the Iowa State Fair, où il a gagné le concours de Mister Legs, dans la catégorie « Whitest Legs » ;) /Sophie
Ryan is such a misery guts, he rarely ever seems excited about anything, he has a stunningly attractive girlfriend that tries so hard to get him involved and excited but no, no happiness from Ryan. He is cruising on a yacht to a beautiful beach on a post card perfect day, he only thing that got him to smile were the dolphins. Sophie went to the effort to make him a cracker of a dinner, the only response from Ryan was a grunt and complain. When Sophie mentioned about a hike Rayan said he needed to sleep in. Hmmm Sophie is trying so hard to make this phase of their lives a period of happiness and adventure where as Ryan usually seems as if he has just left a funeral.. it’s so easy to pick u in Sophie’s body language that Ryan is frustrating the hell out of her..Ryan, loosen up man,, you won the lottery when you met Sophie, try to make her as happy as she is trying to make you happy..this is an awesome channel but Sophie needs Ryan to work with her, she can’t do it all alone
Thanks for expressing exactly what I think and was considering writing but didn't want to appear to be mean-spirited so I was still debating as I read through the comments. I am new to the channel and rapidly trying to catch up. I hope Ryan opens up and becomes more positive as I move forward in time, but I fear he is a flat-liner. He is killing their subs total. I follow two other sailing couples and they are loving and supportive of each other and equal partners in the effort. One is not forever trying to pull the other into the light. I'll probably continue to watch but it will all be about Sofie and her humor, expressiveness, and positivity!
Great video, you are a fantastic host and I wish you God speed to all the beautiful beaches.
Ah Ryan shake a leg buddy, Sophie is a catch worth enjoying every moment with.
Take it from one who let too many catches get away ok.

I have discovered Cies Galicia and Asturias last summer, and you are right , its very great ..
Nice to see you put on your put on inflatable vests and harnesses. As your confidence grows you’ll relax and your fear will ease.
I love the videos of the dolphins 🐬⛵️
Great video! Ryan was hilarious changing. Can't wait to see your reaction to Bahamas and carribean.
Me neither Sea Travel, me neither! And Italy, Croatia, Greece... 🤩 /Sophie
Thanks for the quality of the accompanying music; previous episode was excellent with Ryan's explanations. Have a safe trip.
Another wonderful video! GOD bless you two. Looking forward to seeing the Caribbean through your eyes(video"s). JC
Hi Guys. Loved the vlog. So nice to see you looking forward to your adventures and being happy. That's what it's all about. And, I love your enthusiasm. That dolphin needs some lessons! SO funny. Love life Ryan and Sophie x
Beautiful beaches and friendly dolphins who do cute tricks. A lovely life.
Had a good laugh at you guys on the beach!
Great video guys! Oh man there are soooo many other beaches out there, Sophie, I think you are going to explode from the incredible beauty. Just you wait..... Thanks for sharing.
Totally love the piano music !!!!!! All god. 😊💖💕⛵️⚓️🚣
Very nicely done. Thanks for sharing.
Yet another fine vid and the joyful Sophie: funny, beautiful and with a very sympathetic spirit. Cheers/👌
Very nice places
I just came across this.....Perfect video. I enjoyed this video.
"BEACH" is a state of mind!!! Have been on some beautiful beaches in a so-so mood and on some ragged ones to feel beatific. So the real search to have these two come together.
Hi Sophie, Life is good when you are busy collecting points of interest. Lots of beaches in the world have fun collecting them ;-))
I’m taking this new job of mine very seriously Sheldon ;)
Cheers from Portugal, where the beaches aren’t too bad either!
/Sophie
Great video the daufins playing and you two playing on the beach was fun to watch thanks
Makena Beach, Maui. Beautiful beach. Thank you for a great video.
Thanks Daniel! Maui May happen soon :) /Sophie
Both are relaxed and having fun! Yay!
You have great energy.
Thanks Ken!

Un vrai bon duo. j’adore !
There is a rocky cliff with a lighthouse on top that I visit, and the dolphins jump in and out of the waves as they break against the rocks, but experiencing them on your boat is the next level of awesome.
Another great video,thanks guys👍😊
Thanks Wayne! Those dolphins are such a treat.... /Sophie
So Perfect! That was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
Wow...this beach is really amazing! Love your videos, guys :)
Thanks Vadim!!! :) /Soph

Sailing Kittiwake did an episode or two I believe around islas cies, but I think yours really did the area a service.
Another great video
You guys crack me up! Love you !!! Can't wait to visit Galecia , next year when on the Camino de Santiago
You will have a blast Joe, it is such an amazing place. Hope you get to visit the islands of Cies too! /Sophie
there are some nice beaches around Mallorca and you could visit Port Andratx (south Mallorca) when you're in the Med.
Fun Video... as always. You never disappoint.
Thanks Cyclomaniac! :)
Get happy to see your vlog. All the best of luck to you 2. Skål from sweden!!!
🤩 tack Mauritz! Skål!!! 🇸🇪
Thanks for a fun video. Try the beaches in Pensacola Florida. Powdery white sand. Thanks again.
Thanks Silky :) Florida is very high on the list of places I want to sail to... /Sophie
4:00 the best way to watch dolphins !😜
not in captivity in some zoo or aquarium
Right?!
The most beautiful dolphins for sure 🐬
They were so 😍💕💞🤩💜💘 (and totally unleashed the 5 years old in me....) /Sophie
Hey Sophie and Ryan! If you are down New Zealand way, we have many beautiful beaches to choose from. Perhaps 90 Mile Beach should be considered?
Beautiful, but especially the Dolphins
You should have gone to the beach at 11:08 .. the sand looks clean and nice, and you could have the entire beach to urselves .
Love Sophia's meal and her total presents
LOL Ryan, you wearing a t-shirt of sorts running around on the beach? a true geeks geek for sure.
/Sophie

Wouldn’t you be surprised if one didn’t “hello” back! 🇨🇦⛵️😜
They certainly did! :)
were are you finding your music in the videos?
Since you are heading into the Mediterranean you could visit the beach near our house called Iztuzu Beach which has been rated a 5-star beach and is the nesting ground of loggerhead turtles. All up and down the entire coast are Holiday resorts with extremely nice beaches and nearby ones that are secluded.
wow so beautiful :-)
Chasing Ryan to get him weT was an Over-The-Top piece of footage. Now he may have been acting it out ... nonetheless, B.R.A.V.O. 😊🏝🌞🌴🏝👊✌️
Love ya! Nice video.
Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, Australia. one of the best beaches in the world.
Thats true. This Beach is breathtaking beautiful like the whole archipelago. Love your energy Sophie, you seem more the captain. Would be nice if you throw in a few French words to show your personality.
I know one thing is that further you head for warmer weather, those bodies will change from being white to a tanned colour. Don't forget to slip slop slap that suntan lotion. I love warm weather, not fan of the cold. !!!
Whitehaven Beach, The Whitsundays, North Queensland, Australia. A contender....
Where did you guys get the spice rack?
La Digue in Seychelles 😉
OUI!! :)
Nice beach.... but doesn't come close to Whitehaven Beach! 😉
Unfortunately the sea in Galicia is glacially cold .. which is a pity as the beaches are often fantastic
Look up Whitehaven beach in the Whitsunday islands Queensland Australia, then you will see a beautiful beach
Been mentioned a couple of times in he comments section... I guess I HAVE to get there :)
/Sophie
Don’t beat up on Ryan some of that may be the camera. But a good reminder women want to be loved and men want to be respected . Show interest in each other’s passions.
Another lovely video. Sophie looking very "Bond girl" in black at the beginning :) Dolphins were spectacular and the beach scenes were really funny. Is Sophie's sea sickness becoming less of a problem yet? Anyway, all great fun as usual, thank you.
The seasickness is getting under control. With all the learning of the past three months and doing more day-sail type of sailing, it really got a lot better!
/Sophie
Great video guys, keep it up. Think we saw a little more more than we needed to on the beach getting changed scene though 😂😂🍆🤦🏻♂️
Ryan is so funny. His excitement is hilarious. He Might need to get a little color. I know you can do it as you are the perfect girlfriend . Can’t wait for the next video.
12:05 En tant que Bretonne, tu as bien gagné ce petit repos marin!
Nous somme bien d’accord! /Sophie

Right?! Dolphins at night can be spooky! We had them on our crossing to Lisbon at night, chasing fish in phosphorescents. That was a show!!!
/Sophie
Our #1 is Loblolly Beach, Anegada.
Great video guys, You look good in a bikini Sophie, I cannot possible comment about Ryan as I am not in to guys. Keep safe both. Much love.

Nick Caffrey - nick is absolutely right ... although time may embellish recollections. But this cost is out of this world!

Galicia is a secret!
Really enjoyed this video! It was very amusing watching Sophie chasing Ryan all over the beach! Ryan,,, you big chicken!

that looked like a mr Bean moment
13:30 Wow, is that the first time your skin has ever been exposed to sunlight?
(Ryan) Josef we thought we had lost you.... I'm not the 2017 Iowa State Fair Mr. whitest legs blue ribbon winner for nothing!
At least Sophie has some nice color at 14:10, so it seems like you've addressed the problem since then.
Working at it Josef, working at it... /Soph
Marry me Sophy!! I'll love you to the end of my last days on this earth ❤

Sophie went to the effort to make him a cracker of a dinner, the only response from Ryan was a grunt and complain. When Sophie mentioned about a hike Rayan said he needed to sleep in. Hmmm
Sophie is trying so hard to make this phase of their lives a period of happiness and adventure where as Ryan usually seems as if he has just left a funeral..
it’s so easy to pick u in Sophie’s body language that Ryan is frustrating the hell out of her..Ryan, loosen up man,, you won the lottery when you met Sophie, try to make her as happy as she is trying to make you happy..this is an awesome channel but Sophie needs Ryan to work with her, she can’t do it all alone
