It’s a spam strategy, the idea is that people who fall asleep and don’t set a sleep timer on the video will “watch” it all the way to the end, so having a longer video will cause them to hit more advertisements than if the video was the correct length.
I think a cool hymn to Tourach fix could be that your opponent reveals their hand, then you both secretly pick a card each, and all cards that were picked are discarded. It creates a fun wheel of misfortune game of trying to guess what your opponent will want you to discard and I just think that it keeps the randomness but in a different way
I've been kinda interested in getting into pauper; I own literally zero Magic cards and have virtually zero money at any given time nor regular income. I do, though, want to get back to playing physical MTG after playing the online game quite a bit the last couple years. Pauper seems like a way to do that which I could possibly actually afford with the random handfulls of change that amounts my entire fortune.
I like these videos but, I really don't see the point in talking about how a card could be "changed" in order to be balanced outside of wishful hypotheticals. Physical cards can't be changed reliably so I find it a waste of time to discuss something so unimportant.
The last 20 minutes of this video have nothing to do with Pauper.
Can't hear you. I'm asleep
💤
Its done to pad the video and make more money
You're supposed to be sleeping by then
didn’t ask
the excitement of seeing this right before im about to pull up another manalogs video to sleep to, feels counterintuitive
thanks so much for these
Uh, 1:18:45 onwards has literally nothing with Pauper involved, that has to be an accident

These videos always come out when i need them
I think you intended to put the ban list with swiftspear instead of the nadu and commander one
This is my shit. Love putting on your vids to fall asleep to.

3:28 that's why all that glitters was banned? It was too fair
It's funny when the first thing is already outdated
I haven't slept in days thank you logs

Wotc does errata cards from time to time, but not for balance reasons like this
