Hi, 2 things about the mystery box: 1: Its just my merch in a bundle. Its not some other company. 2: 95% of the content in the box is the exact same as all the other boxes. The only thing you get different are some of the types of merch in it. IE, a different color playmat. And of course the random card. But every box gets a card. So its not different from opening a booster pack.
Yeah i checked this bundle on your merch site. Stuff excluding random cards is worth about half of a price you ask and then YGO cards, even if they would be something insane, are not worth even a penny for MtG player, which are target audience if this video. Laughable.

It never took off, but there were a few attempts to use Jeweled Lotus in 60-card eternal formats. The idea was to combine it with the artifact Doubling Cube which doubles the mana in your pool; Doubling Cube doesn't copy properties of that mana, so in this case you would get three usable mana by copying the three unusable mana generated by the lotus. I don't believe this was ever competitive, but the fact that adding "you can't spend it" to black lotus _still_ didn't stop people from considering it really says something.
A thought on your editing style (been loving your content for almost two years), it stands out that you like to use the most recent printing, which I think is good, but you also go into the history of cards regularly; I'm thinking maybe it would be good context to show the original printing of these first since "that" card tends to be the icon of when each of these made a name for themselves (maybe still switch to the recent printing after a couple seconds for readability's sake).
Im new to MTG. Are you allowed to play with older cards or are only certian sets and above still valid? Ie is a card printed from the 90s or early 00s banned, or reprinted if it was too powerful? Thx
