Aoyama at the beginning of the show was seeking attention so bad that everyone straight up ignored him. Then he started being genuine and legit contributed to his class in pinch situations and now he was being noticed to the point where genuine friendship lead him being caught red handed. It's so sad to see Aoyama put in this situation. Best damn twist too because everyone was thinking either Hagakure was the spy because ... invisible. Another theory was Kaminari because there was a point during the season 6, he did a pose that looked like he was doing the Liberation solute but that was just him striking a cool pose and it meant nothing.

On the last part of the discussion I actually have a more controversial stand (hear me out to the end don’t get freaked out be the first part :):
So, 90% of all convicted pedophiles were actually victims of sexual assault as children as well. 70% of them are under the age of 16 and 60% of them live in orphanages or with guardians. While what they have been through is not excusing what they have done ofcourse, they are still humans/ children even. Deku in the last arc has learned that the term „villain“ kinda dehumanises people and makes people think in black and white, when in reality everything is grey. It’s easier to call someone a villain than to think about what exactly causes a person to act and to tackle that issue. A criminal and a villain are two different things. Shiggy is right about a few points as well, that Deku actually acknowledged, mainly that at any given point, given the proper help, even if it means psychological confinement, MOST of the crimes of Shiggy and other villains (in fact all the villains besides muscular who met Deku) could have been avoided. And that is true for the entire league of villains too if you think about it.
Deku also believes in do-overs, but he also acknowledges that for some people help might be too late and that he simply cannot reach everyone. However in his idealism he came to the conclusion, that as long as there is a chance, he has to try to reach out and TRY to help which in REALITY is the only way to break cycles of violence and create a better society (like you said hurt people will always hurt others and who bit the apple first?)
Children are the smallest cells of society and we need to protect them, sometimes from themselves. Simply looking away can destroy more than one life in the long run and violence should never be a private matter. Meddling when you don’t need to is the essence of being a hero. That’s the overall message of MHA and it think it’s contemporary so important that we remember we all have responsibility in a society and sometimes we owe it not just to ourselves but others too, to really „LOOK AT THEM“ even though it means potentially hurting yourself.
Sorry for this long essay and sorry for my English. I just keep rambling cause i kinda recently came to recognise what the overall message of MHA is.
Nice reaction by the way and I really love your discussions :)
