KATSEYE is what you call a global girl group. Debut is a pre-release to their actual debut in August. The Debut: Dream Academy is all posted on youttube and just type the actual show name and a playlist should come up with all the episodes.
I like them. Very girl group song. American labels have admired the K pop system. They have wanted to see if the formula could be replicated in the US. So, It’s come to fruition. I wish them well.
Katseye is a group under the Hybe. it is their new very ambitious global project. they casted them from all countries (at least everyone could apply) and then they taught i think lik around 20 girls - classic idol training - dance, sing...
They’re global pop group under hybe and geffan trained under kpop system and methodology tbh they have top tier vocalist under hybe so far. This song is kinda introducin to katseye their actual debut Ep album is on august 16 'SIS' prior to that we have one more singles coming in July 'Touch' followed up by Netflix documentary called pop star academy how the group is formed behind scenes and all od survival show called dream academy
Glad to hear in the comments that this isn't their actual debut. I was confused by the name of the song but then the lyrics say it isn't lol. but yes this is a new group that would be under the umbrella of "global" pop that so far is still under the Kpop music industry standards and practices. I would say this song and MV are safe, and thats not a bad thing. It did what it needed to do in showing a little bit of each member and what they have to offer as a group before giving us the actual debut.
I like them. This is a beta group for a new venture with HYBE and Geffen. They aren't K-pop. This is a cool "pre-release." The real group debut will be in August.

I really liked them! Their dancing seems superior to many Kpop girl groups. Definitely not Kpop sound musically...✌❤
