Which spray nozzles do you use on the Lesco gun between foliar and non foliar apps?

@@sj7601 We’re using a 1.5gpm blue nozzle on my son’s set up. On my gun we’re using a 2.0gpm yellow nozzle. Blue nozzle is mainly for the lawns that are clean and the yellow nozzle is for the lawns that are somewhat new and are just getting started on our program. It may take more to get it under control so the 2gpm nozzle will do the trick better than the 1.5gpm.
We run those nozzles period, foliar or non foliar. It depends on the condition which set up will be hitting that lawn though. Great question!!!

@@underdogspraying So the blue nozzle works just fine for foliar apps (like post emergent weed control) if using a surfactant? I'm a diyer and was just curious what the pros use. I recently purchased the Lesco blue nozzle for my flow zone and love it! But I've only used it for non foliar (because I assumed the bigger droplets would cause it to not stick as well to the blades).

@@sj7601 it works good either way. It kind of boils down to the time of year. In the summertime when we use any nozzle, we’re always mindful of the surfactant. For example, I don’t have any in the tanks at all because the weather is too hot for it. In the summertime, the pores are open on the lawn and the surfactant makes the chemicals more potent. The nozzles are measured on the gallons per minute per thousand square feet that you’re covering and amount you’re putting down. Water soluble granules breakdown or you can mix them fine enough for all nozzles. Just a tip
