I hate to say I stopped watching because of the cringe safety issues. I hope he’s calmed down a bit now that he’s got a beautiful wife and kid. He has amazing charisma and I wish him great success.
Your daughter is growing so fast! Sorry to hear the loss of your friend and I am glad you got his kitfox. You have to be super stoked to be back in a kitfox.
Be sure to dot your i's and cross your t's when you preflight for Ava's first flight. She is a precious gift from god and your responsibility to protect and love. Love your videos, Mike
My condolences,So sorry for the loss of your friend. So good seeing this is a family endeavor... Ava sure is growing. Congrat- ulations on acquiring the plane. Wishing y'all every success and safe flying. Blessings⚘️⚘️👍😂
Yes put bugs old plane, he wood like that I think. Well sorry to hear about bugs passing, but his old plane lives on with you so bugs is flying with y’all. Nice video, have a great one see ya next time see ya bye.
To help with the carbs kicking off take them off, clean the carbs and boots well then spray the connecting surfaces with hair spray (plain old aquanet stuff). They will slide on easy when the hairspray is wet but when it dries it acts as a light bonding agent. Nothing like a glue would be but it will for sure help. Hopefully it's enough to stop the carbs kicking off.
Congrats! Throw some Tundra tires on that, and go have a blast! Oh, and I must mention: Your little daughter is so cute! You can securely mount a baby seat in the cargo area. Break out the the Sawz-All. The DIY solution to 90% of retrofits can be summarized with the late Roland Pickering's favorite phrase: "Cut to size, file to fit, and paint to match!" Regards, - James Wesley, Rawles
Love your videos. Have a Kf3 with 45 hrs. I find rudder and elevator more than enough. But i notice you pull flaps and hold them until the airspeed is low enough not to push them back up. Same happens to me. But if you let them flatten out on last minute finals, you will get enough elevator to easily 3 point it. Looking fwd to more of your fun, realistic, down to earth videos. Cheers from South Africa
I would recommend using some 3M Gorilla Snot on that carb flange. 3M Trim Adhesive Comes in a red box with a tube inside. Known by all mechanics as gorilla snot.
Bugs Bunny! Came to the comments section to put that up there. Was all I could think while watching the vid. Glad to see many others were thinking the same!
So good to have a Kitfox back on the channel that is yours again! Just like the old days! Can’t wait to see more of this plane and the improvements along the way! Just needs a dope livery to honour Bugs! 🐛 🐜 🐞
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. And I am glad you will be flying again and flying even in his memory. I am a little (more than a little) concerned that this plane knocks the carburetor off. What if it does this while you are flying with your wife and little girl. Please fix it so it never does it again - there must be a way. Bless you and your family - looking forward to your sharing your love of flying with your family and friends - and us! :)
Happy to see you back in a Kitfox Jonas. It's great you have full family support too. You can help your elevator authority by installing a gap seal. My Model III just has a seal made from reinforced packing tape and it works well for me.
Pretty sure the slipper clutch is to protect the gear box from power pulse (backlash) damage; the gear box won't last too long without it. My guess would be a few hundred hours and the teeth will start to flake and fail.
Awesome! I fixed my rough idle problems by making a big X over / equalizer tube with 3/4” ID . Sync the carbs with a Uni-syn . Also float level and mixture adjustment. Such an improvement! Now my 912s runs butter smooth at all rpm.
She sure climbs a little better than your air bike!!! 😏 Beautiful little plane! Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Bugs!!! Very cool that you were able to buy his plane! I think he will always be a part of it!
Great news - looks a super plane and, RIP Bugs, who will be well remembered every time you fly. Y'all are looking just great and Eva is growing up rea fast. Take care. :)
Awesome young lady already wanting to fly. This has been the best family video you three have done. It it about time all family is in. May god bless in all things. Love from Texas.
Good to see you again. I was blowing those rubber manifolds off of my 100 hp 912 and had to design an “L” bracket that attaches to the manifold bolts and 90 degrees over the top to the screw atop the carb. Eliminates the carb shock to engine vibration
Congrats! I really enjoyed your old Kitfox videos. Especially the cross country when you sold it. Looking forward to many entertaining flights in the new ride.
Fantastic!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! So happy for you guys!!!!!! I hope my Model 2 Kitfox performs like that on takeoff with the D-MOTOR I have installed. I have finished it and I am working with the FAA to get a 5 hour test area at this time. Once again CONTRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on the new plane! First thing to fix is that carburetor connection. You don't want that falling off mid flight because it came partially loose due to the vibration on startup 😉
my associate and I bought a used long eze in 1980 and while we only had it 6 months before he bought a C182, that day when we got the long-eze and the first flight and my own first flight was something I never forgot. that was in 1980 and today I'm 70+ and I remember it like it happened yesterday. I have never been happier in my life than when that plane came into my life. I can see you guys are really going to enjoy flying this family plane and I'm happy for your family to be blessed with such a great plane like that one, that is one of my favorite planes. Enjoy and Congratulations!
LOL Bugs does sound like Robert Duvall!! Sorry about your loss Jonas, he sounds like he was an amazing guy and that he brought joy to a lot of peoples lives and I'm sure he's happy youre the one taking over his plane. Ill just say it, ABOUT DAMN TIME YOU'RE BACK IN A REAL PLANE!!! Wanna know how we all know you feel the same? Review Exhibit A: That pure uncontrollable smile at the 10:35 - 10:45 min mark we all get/ remember getting the first time we defied gravity with horsepower and lift lol. That permagrin we get time and time again, always better when its ina new plane or 1st flight but I still get it. Congrats you guys!! Cant wait for more KF/flying content!!
Hey Jonas, I have an kitfox with a smaller elevator too, put gap seal tape and stuck some vg’s on underside of horizontal stabilizer, cheap and easy and definitely improved elevator authority. I’d recommend it as an intermittent solution.
Haven't seen you guys in a while. Wow! You're parents! And looks like your girl is happy and inquisitive! So glad you have another Kitfox. And bonus points for something that is flying! Congrats on the first flight! Be safe! Be happy! Love you guys! Hope to meet you one day!
Make Jonas's channel great again
I hate to say I stopped watching because of the cringe safety issues. I hope he’s calmed down a bit now that he’s got a beautiful wife and kid. He has amazing charisma and I wish him great success.
@@daryljohnson6333 You're cringe.
@@FarmerFpv LMAO
There's only ONE bug's that belongs on that airplane ✈.
Bug's Bunny!
It's already got a big orange *carrot* down each side... 😂
Thats what i was thinking. I 2nd that
It hops off the runway like a bunny.
Came here to say this. WW2 era bugs bunny boxing nose art is the only right answer.
I fly with snoopy
Your daughter is growing so fast! Sorry to hear the loss of your friend and I am glad you got his kitfox. You have to be super stoked to be back in a kitfox.
I have been with you since you first started, you met Sylvia, you went to Europe and got ,married, sold your kit fox, became a farmer,
Love the old guys they make flying so fun and are always great teachers sorry to hear about his passing
One of the best aviation channels is back on track. Good !
Thanks Bugs !
Be sure to dot your i's and cross your t's when you preflight for Ava's first flight. She is a precious gift from god and your responsibility to protect and love. Love your videos, Mike
Absolutely!!
You should contact Warner Bros.for Bugs Bunny decals and/or stencils for the tail!
Sveikinimai!
Congrats Jonas! Looking forward to running into you in the backcountry someday soon 🤙🏼
For sure!!
It climbs like a Jet. Wow !!! 😱 It's a Jetfox ! 🤔 😃👍👍
Back in a kitfox! Freaking sick!
Fatherhood looks good on you, sir. Keep doing awesome things.
My condolences,So sorry for the loss of your friend.
So good seeing this is a family endeavor... Ava sure is growing.
Congrat-
ulations on acquiring the plane. Wishing y'all every success and safe flying. Blessings⚘️⚘️👍😂
Another plane, another chapter.
Good seeing your beautiful family.
Congratulations to the whole Marcinko Clan!
Yes put bugs old plane, he wood like that I think. Well sorry to hear about bugs passing, but his old plane lives on with you so bugs is flying with y’all. Nice video, have a great one see ya next time see ya bye.

that's an excellent idea!
Congrats, another Kitfox, and what's brilliant, an airplane from a friend you considered with great respect, well done Jonas.
I can’t believe how overjoyed I am that you guys got an airplane! Especially a Kitfox!
Or the other bugs...the bunny.
Good on Eva for keeping it real.
Jonas I don't think I have seen a grin on your face that wide, since the birth of your daughter. looking forward to many more flying videos now.
It is a nice tribute to your friend to complete his plane and make it legit to fly!
Good to see you back in the air. I missed your RUclips videos Jonas.
Please keep the videos coming Jonas. We love seeing you guys on here!
GLAD TO SEE YOU HAVE A NEW CO-PILOT
yea! Welcome back to Flying. More flying videos
Congrats! Throw some Tundra tires on that, and go have a blast! Oh, and I must mention: Your little daughter is so cute! You can securely mount a baby seat in the cargo area. Love the fact that you bought Bugs' Kitfox because of your history with your Kitfox! They are wonderful little planes. Good for you!
Glad to have you back in the air!
Good airplane. Enjoy yourself flying it. Nice video clips of “Bugs”.
Good to see you flying again! Your daughter is adorable.
Great to have you back in the air! Can't wait for more videos!
Watch out! if the carb almost fulls off, it may then full off in flight, taking off.
I’m excited to see the future with this!
HOW ABOUT BUGS BUNNY for an EMBLEM 11:39 ..???
Finally Jonas! 🛫 🥳
Thx for sharing your new acquisition, a sentimental piece too. Godspeed Bugs! ✈️
Dang glad to see you guys back and congrats on the kiddo huge life changer right there! Best memories are now in the making 💪🤘
Lovely to see you three and "BUGS", looking forward to more adventures!
Your little girl wants to go flying... she is ready... Great plane... Big game changer... Nicely done... =)
Glad to see you in a KitFox again. I like the radial engine cowl and come on, change the landing gear especially for STOL and STOL drags.
Leave the gear. The bungy is perfectly capable and has the right amount of give. One can over capitalise quite easily me thinks.
Wore the right hat for that maiden voyage!! Sorry to hear about the lose of your friend. You’ll never be flying alone in his plane.
Love your videos. Have a Kf3 with 45 hrs. I find rudder and elevator more than enough. But i notice you pull flaps and hold them until the airspeed is low enough not to push them back up. Cool, Congrats kids. Excited for you.
Love model IV's!
Rotex makes a shake dampener/ slip clutch for the 912 engine that reduces the violence of the starting and stopping
RIP, Bugs!

Change the wings too the STOL version.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.
And I am glad you will be flying again and flying even in his memory.

Love to see you back in a kit Fox dude
Happy to see you back in a Kitfox Jonas. It's great you have full family support too. You can help your elevator authority by installing a gap seal. My Model III just has a seal made from reinforced packing tape and it works well for me.
Great looking plane! The only taildragger I've ever flown was a Kitfox IV.
Nothing like a Kitfox IV! Nice!
Pretty sure the slipper clutch is to protect the gear box from power pulse (backlash) damage; the gear box won't last too long without it. My guess would be a few hundred hours and the teeth will start to flake and fail.
Good to see you back in a Kitfox again Jonas; must be very special that it was your buddy's one.
Congratulations! Best of Luck!
Congrats and a great way to remember your friend. You could do a blend of a bug and a fox. With it being a bush plane a grasshopper comes to mind.
Awesome! I fixed my rough idle problems by making a big X over / equalizer tube with 3/4” ID . Sync the carbs with a Uni-syn . Also float level and mixture adjustment. Such an improvement! Now my 912s runs butter smooth at all rpm.
Great tip! if you have time would love to chat. email me at marcinkoaviation@gmail.com
I've never heard of a uni-syn. thanks for the info ill buy one.
Wow!!! So good you are back in the air with some nice aircraft!! Congratulations from us!
So excited for the future with this plane
Sure sounded good, and nice climb rate!
Bug's Bunny ! definitely makes everyone smile! 🙂
She sure climbs a little better than your air bike!!! 😏 Beautiful little plane! Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Bugs!!! Very cool that you were able to buy his plane! I think he will always be a part of it!
Ohhhhh my gosh! That's awesome! Can't wait to see the family out having a great time! 😀😀 I love the baby has her own baby!
Well done Jonas - be blessed
Super cool. Nice unit.
.my 2 cents......
Bugs buggy.
I'm happy to see you flying again ❤😊🛩️✈️
Great news - looks a super plane and, RIP Bugs, who will be well remembered every time you fly. Y'all are looking just great and Eva is growing up rea fast. Take care. :)
“Buggs” might be a link to Bugs Bunny. Something that all of us old guys watched as kids.
Awesome young lady already wanting to fly. This has been the best family video you three have done. It it about time all family is in. May god bless in all things. Love from Texas.

Nice, and it's a kitfox! There great!. You need to get the clutch for it. And a new prop. I can wait to see the family flying again!!!
Oh I knew a Hahne, good guy too. Rest peacefully Bugs, hope you're riding along in your plane
Common name here in Germany. Hahn means rooster.
With the e ending it's like "rooster's".
Congrats, guys! Looking forward to following along.
congrats, but please stay on the ground until you can sort out those carb attachments, slipper clutch or not, they must not be able to fall off.
I hope your carb stays on in flight
Jonas Great that you are keeping Bugs memory alive. You have been Blessed with your family and life.Always be Thankful and Greatful N6529M ❤️
Nice! Glad to see you'll be flying more.
Congrats! I really enjoyed your old Kitfox videos. Especially the cross country when you sold it. Looking forward to many entertaining flights in the new ride.
So stoked for you.
Huge congratulations and many blue skies
Congrats on your new family member, what a tribute to Bugs and a great name for the plane. All the best with the rebuild. Safe flying. Cheers from NZ
So happy for you guys!! Can't wait to see your upgrades to "Bugs"
Such Good news team Jonas! Cant wait to see the journey - metaphorical and literal!!
Congrats! How about a face/beard graphic in homage to Bugs? I like the cowling as-is. It's very BMW Motorad asymmetrical.
So great, now more flying videos.
Awesome I’m so happy for you

Finally a new plane!
I wish you so many luck with that plane!😊
