I just got off hunter call of the wild hunting whitetail deer, and about 2 mins before I turned off my console I saw a melanistic female sprint from a drinking zone, I wanted to hunt it down but I had to go to church, so I left it for tomorrow. Also my best whitetail so far is a diamond. (edit):CONGRATS!!!!
Lady yesterday in Layton I got an Albino blacktail! It's like my 4th ever blacktail so I was really lucky... too bad the shot went a bit too high and didn't get the lungs, so the quality was messed up, it would've been a high silver or gold I think

There are different types of racks for whitetail and you did not have this one or you did not have the whitetail G1 at all? Besides, can you help me? I purchased Emerald Coast DLC recently and I’m trying to get a diamond red deer. I set barracks and tripods, I shoot a lot of males (but I shoot a female once) and now my zones are strange, some zones only have females and others used to have 3 or 2 males and now have only 1. I don’t know what I made wrong and how to fix it, if I can fix it lol Sorry for bad english, it’s not my native language.
Thanks! This is my 8th Whitetail Great One. Just didn't have a big rack yet and now I do! Yay! You aren't doing anything wrong. I find with red deer, many of their zones are solo zones sharing a drink zone with a herd. When you shoot solos, their zone deletes and goes somewhere else. So your big males were likely in solo zones and just have respawned somewhere else. Solo zones are a big pain

Where are you seeing the possible score at on the screen? Or is it just you've shot so many that you can Boone and Crockett it in your head? Never mind I see it in the lower right corner. Going to leave my comment so others can see it.
The 308 is good for classes 4 to 8 and whitetail are class 4. Did you mean the 300? It's the best grinding weapon. I don't care if the whitetail are gold or silver. The ones I do care about, I use the 308 on

No I spawned 8 great ones in that time. It just took that many kills to get the big rack is what I meant. He is my 8th whitetail great one. Thank you!

You don't want to shoot females when you're doing a grind. Causes more zones to spawn and you'll get inconsistent respawns until you discover it
