i got my first diamond yesterday after only playing for about 5 days. i was on layton headed to hunt whitetail for a quest and a turkey landed right in front of me so I shotgunned him and didn't even check the score til I got an achievement on steam saying I harvested a diamond turkey. headed to an outpost and taxidermized him!
great vid and i only saw 3min of it xd. how do you manage to get those many herds of good animals? can you maybe give me some tips in general for the game? edit: how do you get those massive guns and the ammo??
For starters I am not complaining. I love playing COTW. But in 800+ hours on 3 separate accounts on 3 separate platforms I have never killed a single great one nor have I killed a single Diamond Whitetail or bigger game animal the only Diamonds I have are all waterfowl & turkey and it is kind of not annoying but I guess devastating. At level 60 on Steam all I do is go around shooting animals hoping to some day run into a great one or a Diamond Whitetail specifically. Happy hunting!
Yea you will most likely never just run into a great one unless it’s modded they have to be grinded if you want any chance at getting one. My longest grind was 6800 kills for fallow
